Rio Rancho girl collects luggage for needy families


RIO RANCHO (KASA) – 17 year-old Brianna Swinderman started the Bags of Hope luggage collection drive in 2012.  This was all in the hopes of getting luggage for victims of domestic violence  and kids in foster homes to be able to move their belongings in something other than trash bags.

So far 3,000 pieces of luggage have been donated by people in the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho areas.
