The rooms were exceptionally clean and I was able to stay with my one small dog during a very busy event weekend (Hot August Nights). I liked that the unit had its own small kitchen and small appliances. Having the small in unit washer and dryer was extremely helpful. The location is exceptional right off South Virginia Street across from the Peppermill Casino. Within walking distance to casinos, shopping, restaurant choices, amenities. As the location is right downtown, S. Virginia Street is busy with foot traffic, I would recommend the extra on-site parking pass. It offers more of a secure parking option for your vehicle being right downtown. Check-in and instructions to check-in, were easy to follow and well laid out. I would stay again.

The only problem with this place is that it is fully booked for months! Otherwise, its now my favorite pet-friendly option in Reno. Feels like you are home, staying in a fully functional apartment, with a full sized fridge, stove, etc. It's quiet and the bed is incredibly comfortable. There isn't a front desk but the staff is available 25/7 via text messaging, and they are very responsive. And parking is incredible easy--its a gated parking lot dedicated for the building. I also love that this development has gotten a Squeeze In, Hub Coffee and a homemade ice cream shop. Not to mention the best sushi right across the street. Its a hip little getaway from the hustle of Reno, while still being right downtown.

This property is great. Check in was easy. Even with there being no onsite front desk they are very responsive throughout text messages. The room was really nice. There is a full kitchen, in room washer and dryer, the room is spacious, and the bed is comfortable. They provide you with all the kitchen items needed, laundry and dishwasher pods, dish soap, and multipurpose cleaner. It is quiet considering the room is right on Virginia and you don't hear your neighbors. They have a great pool, a BBQ, outdoor seating, a fire pit, and outside lighting. I will most definitely be back.

Perfect Reno staycation spot for the kid, dog, and I. Lovely rooms with kitchenettes and access to pool, hot tub, bball court, and fitness center. Walking distance to movie theater, Reno public market, and ice cream! It is loud there and curtains are not blackout, but we brought a sound machine and just woke up with the sun

We really enjoyed our stay with Kasa. Plenty of space for our family of 4. We appreciated the ease of check in, we enjoyed access to the pool, & we really enjoyed how clean and modern the apartment was. We would definitely choose Kasa again.

Getting around

The best way to enjoy the city is by driving or availing of ride-share services. Most of Reno's popular destinations are only 10-15 minutes away, with Interstate 80 being the nearest freeway. If you opt for public transportation, take a 5-minute walk to the Bus Station in Virginia and Grove, where Bus 1 can take you to Downtown Reno in 12 minutes. Escaping to the comforts of Lake Tahoe will take you less than an hour to achieve, and if you’re ready for your next adventure, Reno-Tahoe International airport is only a 5-minute drive away.

What do I need to do before I arrive?

We strongly encourage completing your self check-in online before you arrive at Kasa Archive Reno-Tahoe. Once completed, you’ll get access to your Virtual Front Desk, which has driving instructions and step-by-step navigation and provides your codes 10 minutes before your check-in time.

How do I get into the building and find my unit?

When you approach Kasa Archive Reno-Tahoe, you’ll head to the entrance where the two wings meet and use your provided building code at the smaller keypad, not the larger callbox. To find your unit, you’ll walk past the mailroom. Ground-floor units are down the halls to the left or right. For upper floors, turn left and take the elevator on your right. Your check-in instructions have the exact turns to your door, and you’ll use your door code on the lock.

Where can I park during my stay?

Parking at Kasa Archive Reno-Tahoe is paid and on-site in our gated lot, and you can reserve it in your Virtual Front Desk after booking. Your arrival details will walk you through registering your vehicle before you arrive. Use your provided code at the gate keypad (if there’s a big pool on your left, you’re at the wrong gate), then park in any space marked Guest, K or KC. You’ll have 15 minutes to grab your parking pass from your unit and put it on your dashboard. If you didn’t reserve parking, you can use the public overflow lot. You’ll find step-by-step directions in your Virtual Front Desk.
