Pros: rooms are nice, beds were comfy, location was great for all things in and around traverse city. We didn’t have a problem with the self check in and wireless entry but I saw many people who didn’t understand the concept of a hotel not having a 24/7 front desk. Cons: walls are thin, we heard people roller blading or moving bags from the room above, could have sworn they were in our room. You experience here may depend on the guests and how loud they are. I think this hotel could use some sound deduction in the main halls, and from upstairs. Maybe even carpet on the 2nd floor would help. If you have a room around 121, there is an arcade room right by the room. I heard people playing at 1am. Like I said experience is 100% dependent on other guests. Breakfast isn’t great but at least they have stuff. Parking: if you drive a big suv or a truck this parking lot is TIGHT! You might not want this hotel if you drive a bigger automobile. Overall: we would stay here again but only if we couldn’t find a different hotel or we need something quick for one night. Price here is reflected in experience. When staff is on site, they are friendly and helpful. If something is done about the thin walls, I would rate this 5 stars.

It's a hotel, without a front desk, but with more and more features of a hotel. I appreciated they have laundry, and a lobby with games, and now offer a breakfast, and the room was clean and quiet. Dogs are allowed and there was no sound of dogs barking in the hotel at all, although it did mean that owners propped open back doors for ease of walks daily and some might not be uncomfortable with that security, particularly as the outer doors remain open all day with minimal observance from staff. For our stay, we found the location ideal, and there is a nice bakery called Third Coast walking distance where we had coffee and breakfast before Kasa began offering it. Would stay again!
