Best hotel stay I've ever had This is the best place I've ever stayed at. The front desk gals were all super welcoming and helpful and fun to chat with as I meandered in and out. They even left me a little treat on my door for my birthday! The room was very comfortable and clean; the hotel itself is actually very small but felt like a much bigger place, and all the rooms face inward to a nice courtyard and pool so the city noises weren't a factor at all. It was a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is located within walking distance of plenty of awesome restaurants, and it was very easy to get around. Coming back to my room really did feel like coming home after a bit. It was well worth the price and I was even able to extend my stay for a day without worrying about my wallet! tl;dr I really enjoyed my stay and I want to stay here every time I visit Long Beach.

Overall, we had a lovely stay at the hotel. The check-in process was smooth, the room and bathroom were quite spacious, and the staff were amazing and kind. The front desk staff, in particular, were incredibly warm and welcoming, which made our experience at the hotel even more enjoyable. Also, having access to toiletries, towels, and coffee in the lobby after hours was a nice perk. The only real caveat is the parking situation. There are no nearby garages that offer in-and-out privileges or are open 24/7, so street parking is one of the more practical options. The cost is fairly reasonable, averaging about $10 per day if you leave your car parked there all day. However, you do have to remember to add money to the meter every two hours, which can be a little inconvenient. Aside from the parking, the hotel’s restaurant is very good and offers a unique menu of both food and drinks. The hotel itself feels fresh and recently renovated, and its downtown location is very convenient. Overall, this is a great option if you’re looking for a recently renovated hotel in the downtown area with spacious rooms, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. Just be prepared to plan ahead when it comes to parking!

Very cute boutique hotel! Easily walkable to downtown Long Beach & the convention center. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean & well decorated. Toiletries etc. are available 24/7 in the lobby which was very convenient. The pool is gorgeous. Would absolutely stay here again.

Clean and tidy facilities. Friendly staff and responsive communication. Pool area was well kept and so nice to have in the peak of summer. Close to supermarket, restaurant/coffee shops, and of course, the ocean! Appreciated that they have live entertainment but doesn't go super late so as to respect guests' sleep.

I was impressed. You can tell it was originally an old-style motel by the concrete rectangle structure, but the rooms have been very recently renovated and were really well done. The remote-checkin process was very well communicated electronically. Pool in inner courtyard was nice. The gym is tiny but they were really smart about the space they had, they have dumbbells and a cable machine, probably the two things I would choose to put in a gym if I had to only choose two, so you can get an “in a pinch” push-pull workout done. I’ll give the service a 5/5 too, the front desk girls were friendly and there to help (but in my case the remote check in was totally sufficient).

Getting around

Our prime downtown location boasts a 98 Walk Score, so restaurants, shops, and even the beach are just a short stroll away. Visitors love exploring the East Village Arts District, soaking up the waterfront views, or enjoying Pine Avenue’s dining and nightlife, all without needing a car. For longer trips, the Metro A Line provides direct access to Los Angeles, and rideshares or taxis are always close by. Prefer a more scenic route? Rent a bike and ride along the Shoreline Pedestrian Path for a coastal adventure. For arrivals and departures, Long Beach Airport (LGB) is only 6 miles away, making travel to and from the city a breeze.
