8/10 Very good
Will definitely stay again!
This is a new concept to us, and we are in new hotels on a weekly basis due to work, and we found pros & cons...
- Must stay 2 nights or more to book a room
- There are 3 buildings in the gated parking lot. All 'guests' rooms are located in the 'Archive' building.
- There is no 'front desk' to get checked in, nor an actual person onsite to ask any questions regarding the accommodations. Instead, you will communicate with customer service via text message, email, or phone call.
- Checking in: you do a 'virtual check-in' via your phone (must upload ID & take a 'live' selfie). They will supply you with ALL your accommodations details via a link sent to you in a text & email. We didn't mind this, and it was easy to navigate.
- To gain access to your room and the property (its gated), you will be sent a 4 digit pin, which is given at "check-in time" (after your identity & payments are verified). This pin will give you access to the amenities building as well.
- You get key fobs once inside your room, and a parking pass as well. You can either pay for parking when you first reserve your room ($10 or $15/day), or you can park for free in the 'guest parking' spots (there are 8 spots inside the gates, more outside the gates).
**Room: (studio queen for a 3 night stay)
- all rooms have a fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, silverware, cooking utensils, bowls, cups, cutting board, knives, cooking pan & oven mits)
- Large Salt & Pepper shakers provided, along with Olive Oil for cooking 🙌🙌
- washer & dryer in unit (detergent pods supplied)
- dishwasher (detergent pods provided)
- fridge
- microwave
- iron & iron board
- small dining table
- closet
- small shower (body wash, shampoo & conditioner included in shower, along with lotion in bathroom)
- Papertowels
- Keurig coffee machine (coffee pods, sugar, tea, & powdered creamer supplied)
- Sink with disposal, dishsoap, sponge & handsoap
**Amenities: Hands down, they have some of the best amenities (all included), we have ever experienced in a hotel! Majority of your amenities are in the 'Basecamp' building (same parking lot, furthestbuilding from the 'Archive' building.
- Nice sized gym to get in an excellent, full body workout
- Designated basketball court
- Multiple outdoor fire pits & seating areas
- Large outdoor pool & hot tub, with a massive big screen panels, situated at the end of the pool.
- Multiple BBQ stations & even a pizza oven (outside)
- Unique gathering area (indoors) with a small pool table, foozball table, loungers and a kitchen with a commercial style coffee maker (upstairs in 'Basecamp' building)
- Climbing Rockwall (was blocked off when we stayed) inside the gym area as well.
- multiple dog walking/park areas
- I did see a dog wash area, but I don't think it is available for guests, only residents
**Hotel opportunity**
- On our first day, if we had questions, response times for communication were pretty quick via text, but after our 2nd & 3rd day, response times for text messages were 30+ minutes & I was even on hold for about 40 minutes via phone call.
- There was only one kitchen hand towel, it would be nice to have 2
- No bathroom floor towel, so we had to use our hand towel when getting out of the shower vs 1 of our 3 large shower towels
- Loved the two garbage cans (one recycle, one regular garbage), but we were not left with any additional garbage bag replacements, and because we used the kitchen every night, the garbage cans were stuffed. Would be nice to have at least 1 additional replacement garbage bag.
- Rockwall was closed when we were there (assuming this needs to have someone watching it, due to the possibility of someone falling and getting hurt and that'swhy it was closed)
🌎 We travel for a living (USA & around the globe) and love to share our experiences both here on Google maps and on our social media pages, too! Follow us here and our social 🙌
Cheers friend!
