*One of Our Best Stays Ever — An Unexpected Spa Retreat!* Wow! This was absolutely one of the best stays we have ever had — and our first experience at an apartment hotel/aparthotel. Kasa Little Italy completely exceeded our expectations! We booked extremely last minute for an equally last-minute trip to San Diego for an ENHYPEN concert for my teen daughter and me {sadly, no East Coast tour dates!}. I was between Airbnbs, hotels, and Kasa, fervently researching the heck out of all the options! Finally, I HAD to book, so Kasa won out. Great decision. The apartment was fabulous: spacious, clean, comfortable, and incredibly well equipped. We had an extra-large bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, and our own washer/dryer — always a luxury while traveling. The bed was fantastic, as were the complete blackout blinds, and having a balcony was super cool. But the biggest surprise was the amenities. Kasa unexpectedly turned part of our trip into a mini spa retreat! We took full advantage of the sauna, Jacuzzi, gym, hydro-massage chair, and even hot cocoa from the beverage machine. We did not have time for the pool, but certainly would have on a longer trip! There are also lounge areas, a kitchen/BBQ area, game room with billiards and, if I remember correctly, ping pong, plus private offices and a conference room. Funny enough, on our first day, we accidentally walked in what I felt was sort of the “wrong” direction looking for the nearest CVS, since it was a very commercial area. Instead, we stumbled upon a cute pizzeria and Ross across the street. That became an accidental, fun mini-shopping adventure where my daughter found a ton of adorable summer tops, and we bought swimsuits specifically to enjoy Kasa’s amenities! We had not packed any because our trip was so short we did not think we would have time for the beach or anything like that. So, going the wrong way worked out perfectly for us! Little Italy itself is only about two blocks away when you walk in the right direction 😊, and from there the neighborhood toward the waterfront is fantastic. We loved the location. Kasa is also just a few blocks from the trolley station, which made getting to and from Snapdragon Stadium for the ENHYPEN concert incredibly convenient and truly perfect. Everything was clean, orderly, and well maintained. Checking in and using key codes for the building and apartment was seamless. The virtual concierge worked perfectly by phone and text, and whenever we needed something, assistance was readily and quickly available. My *one main suggestion for Kasa* would be a dedicated workstation — desk and chair — inside the apartment. I always need to work while traveling and also use my laptop for organizing our trips and life on the road. I created my own makeshift workspace from what was available. With how perfectly equipped everything else is, a true workstation would make the apartment nearly flawless, especially for business travelers and longer stays. I also think a small table and chairs near the kitchen would be a wonderful addition. The units are so spacious that there is definitely room, and it would provide a great place to eat, work, play cards, whatever. Because we booked so last minute, I barely had time to research all that Kasa offered. That made discovering everything even more fun because it was so much better than I expected. The location, apartment, amenities, convenience, cleanliness, and overall value were fantastic. What started as simply needing a place to stay for a concert became one of the highlights of our trip. We would 100% stay at Kasa again, and after this experience, I will specifically look for Kasa properties when we travel to other cities. *AMAZING stay. If you have the opportunity to book here, DO IT!* 😉

This is a great hotel. Kasa is an apartmentel - my unit had a full kitchen, a full fridge and washer and dryer. The appliances were super new. The amenities on the 7th floor was amazing. There’s a gym, a market, a sauna room, lots of working/studying spaces, and a hydro massage chair. It’s in a safe, vibrant and convenient neighborhood. It’s also right next to a Solidcore, multiple Zipcar locations and rental car locations. There is minimal staffing (unlike a traditional hotel), but they had security on site and quickly dispatched a team member when I needed to get help for something during my stay. This was my first time staying at a kasa, I’d definitely come back the next time I visit San Diego.
