This was my first time booking an Airbnb and it was worth every penny. Great last minute deal and there was so much in walking distance. Personally I wanted an experience where I wouldn’t want to have to talk to anyone to check in and got just that the check in instructions were clear. Will 100% book again next time I’m in the bay. (The room was also bigger than I expected)

Had to book my room at last minute, the automated system was easy to follow, directions to access the building and to my room worked seamlessly. Inside the room, wow 😳 what a cozy place, and well distributed, that’s all I needed for my stay, all the nice features for entertainment, were well explained and all worked well. Great place to crash and relax after a busy work day. Will stay at Kasa Niche again.

I am so grateful to Kasa for hosting myself and my partner while we visited family in the Bay Area. It was a fantastic experience and I hope to stay there again!

I stayed here for work but wanted a couple extra days to explore for fun and decided to continue my stay at Kasa Niche. For billing purposes it was easier for me to check out and check back in. I ran into staff in the lobby after I checked out and they were extremely accommodating by getting me into another room immediately so I didn't have to carry my luggage around. The hotel was clean and quiet and the location was perfect in that you can walk to pretty much whatever you need. There were plenty of options nearby to grab coffee or lunch and get some work done. I was traveling solo and felt very safe in the hotel and in the surrounding area. I will mention that although there were blinds on the windows, there were no curtains, so it does not get very dark. However, they leave you a sleep mask so you can sleep comfortably. I always have my own and am used to this, so it wasn't a problem for me. I would definitely stay again.

Just ok Likes: The bed was comfortable, and there were free bananas. Dislikes: I didn't get the room unlock code by email, had to ask the lady who was working there. Both an electric socket and the fridge were incredibly noisy, and the curtains let a lot of light get through.

A good place for a solo work trip Likes: Generally a good place to stay if you’re traveling alone on a business trip. The rooms are tiny but have everything a normally sized hotel would have. It’s well designed and modern, and I appreciate the complimentary water bottles (2) and snacks they leave in the room. Also, it’s been recently renovated so the rooms feel fresh and airy, and it’s a 7 min walk to the train station! Dislikes: I wish the hotel had invested in better quality towels and bed linens. The towels are thin and small, and feel old. The ones in my room had stains. Also, my bathroom did not have a shower curtain, so water went everywhere and it was a huge mess. There is no front desk staff, so if you have any issues you need to reach out to someone via text or phone, and this is hard if you need immediate help. Also, there is no room service, or anyone who can help you replace towels or install a shower curtain.

I would give my stay a 4.9, I had a wonderful time, and the communication was prompt & helpful. The text & email instructions for accessing the space were very comprehensive & clear, my room was completely clean, bed comfortable, & there was even a white noise machine, which helped because you can hear through the walls. The handwritten note from Jagrati upon my arrival was an incredibly thoughtful touch, thank you! I appreciated the waters, nuts & chips on arrival. And the bananas in the lobby area was a lovely treat. The lobby are is a great working space, & the Property Manager Jagrati is wonderful and personable. Kasa also provided dining and entertainment suggestions via QR code in the room, and I found a charming wine bar that way. It's very walkable to everything in downtown Redwood City. There is not dedicated parking if you're coming with a car, but there are paid lots nearby. The only slight adjustments to perhaps consider: making a less expensive charge for late checkout ($50) if you're only asking for 1 or 2 additional hours. And I was also told at one point that someone would need to enter my room for cleaning windows but they didn't know when, so that was a small drawback, because I didn't know if I would need to be taking my toiletries, etc. into bathroom to get ready & shower while someone might need to access my room at any moment. The team did stay in touch with me via text to share they didn't need to access my room after all & had told me they would knock first, so that was workable. It was a small matter & worked out fine, it would just be better if those things could be coordinated when room not occupied. Thank you, I particularly love the framed niche sign in the room & have been charmed by Redwood City, thank you for your open armed hospitality! I hope to return!

Perfect offering with all the essentials.

For the price, this is a good, clean option. However, there are some things that I don’t like. I want to state right off the bat, this hotel required you to scan your face into their biometric system for access. Something that I am vehemently against and will never stay here again for that reason alone. The rooms are clean, but small. Again, for the price it’s really not bad. The other thing I dislike is that you have to “check in” on the street. I was standing outside, bags on the floor with my wallet out all to go through their biometric “check in”. Additionally, when you get to your room, you have to do some Jedi hand tricks just to get the keypad to light up. I just don’t get the point of this, just use a regular keypad as the tech clearly doesn’t work well. I don’t want to be waving at an electronic keypad like I’m a wizard casting a spell. If tech doesn’t work as intended, every time, then the old system didn’t need to be replaced for this new nonsense

Convenient walking to Downtown. Friday night concert was great!

One night stay after concert at Levi’s Stadium Extremely clean. All the necessities provided. Love the tech, easy to check in and out. A lot of nice restaurants within walking distance. Kasa provides a really nice travel guide that you can access by a QR code and follow links to websites. Strongly recommend

Very happy with the hotel room! Although it is small, it has everything you would need in a hotel room. The check in process is very quick and efficient (only needed to input code at the front door sent before check-in time), the room was already cleaned and prepared well, and overall environment is very safe and quiet. Highly recommend!

It was very disappointing. The air conditioning did not work and at 7:18AM it was 91 DEGREES IN THE ROOM, so imagine what it was as it got hotter outside. I was really hoping to love this hotel because I liked the idea of it but in fact, not having anyone on site is not good. When I asked where the closest gym was, they suggested one that was 28 miles away and in fact it doesn’t even open until the end of the year. Meanwhile, there’s one a block away. I was told we’d get a refund because of the whole debacle and thus far nothing has come. Really too bad, I’m usually the person who writes great and positive reviews.

Our stay was really nice! The room was super clean and had nice amenities

The place is really cute and small. The bed was really comfortable. The shower was warm, the communication was fantastic. I was able to bring my dog. That’s always a plus. It was quiet. I had no problem with any noise. The only problem I had was that the TV did not work. And actually a friend of mine stayed in a room right down the hall, and his TV didn’t work either. But other than that it was a great experience and I will definitely look up KASA in the future.

Staying here was absolutely the best and we will have our family stay here when they visit in Redwood City. We loved the minimal apartment and all the amenities, and the affordable price of these units. Everything is close walking distance. On top of all else the staff is incredibly kind, I had lost some important storage keys and they helped me look for them, even sifting through trash after our checkout. They were so understanding and accommodating, felt like home and I will recommend it to friends and family.

Easy to find and access, conveniently located to tons of walkable restaurants and shops. Agree with other reviewers that walls and ceilings/floors are thin and the room is loud, but an ambient noise machine and an eye mask made it a non-issue.

If you like clean, great location and a very comfortable bed, this is the place. Likes: It was very clean. Decor was very nice. Room was very small, but who needs a lot of room when you are staying there just to get sleep. Dislikes: You can hear neighborhood noises. The split a/c was noisy from other rooms. Had to put my a/c on to cover up the noise from outside the room. Make sure the Wi-Fi is working for the TV or you will not be able to watch tv.

Really great place too bad the staff wasn't as reflective as the building,brand and location. Really rude. I guess I fit the profile. Mind u I paid for a night there and I asked to use the lobby bathroom to a no. No soliciting sir. I just blew 2 something. I wish they can just make things right

Likes: Cleanliness and convenience. Responsiveness of text messages. Great location in Downtown Redwood City. Be sure to be able to log into all your streaming services in order to watch TV. Dislikes: The fire alarm went off but it was minor.
