I went to LA on vacation by myself, and the Kasa was perfect. The location is just a few blocks from Hollywood Blvd, so if you like to walk around and explore, this spot is great. The “room” was a large fully furnished efficiency apartment that was huge. Full kitchen with sink, stove, and fridge. The Incredibly comfortable bed was a surprise as well as the walk in closet, They even provide a sound machine to help out drown out any noise, which was minimal. I heard no other guests and the occasional street noise from sirens were easily drowned out by the sound machine. The other pleasant surprise, which I encourage you to heed at your own risk, is parking. The adjacent street to the east (Van Ness) allows 4 hour parking during the day and there is no meter. That means that you can actually park on the street overnight for free. I did that the entire time I was there and had no problem finding a parking spot at any time during the day or night. If you were planning a trip to Los Angeles and you want to stay in the Hollywood area, there is no better spot than the Kasa!

Wonderful stay. Rooms are very clean, location is fairly safe (for Hollywood standards), and the service surprisingly good. The sheet we originally had on the bed was too small, so I texted customer service and it was changed before I got back to the room in the evening. Check-in process was very easy and we got a surprise upgrade to the deluxe king from a queen. The view is stunning. Woke up to the Hollywood sign and Griffith observatory every morning.

Absolutely phenomenal My stay was an absolute joy! It is not an “ordinary” hotel you get a whole studio apartment! Not only that but it’s also very secure with security guards active all night, each person has a unique code to get in! You are close to everything Hollywood so if it’s your first time you will definitely enjoy being only a few minutes away from all the entertainment! The rooms are cozy and overall the atmosphere is great! It’s a good bang for your buck considering how expensive small hotel rooms get!

Thank you Kasa! I really enjoyed our stay in Hollywood! The check in directions were easy and clear. There was constant check in and communication. The apartment was really cute, clean, modern and the bed was comfy! I normally don’t sleep well on hotel beds so this was a treat. The building was clean and I always felt safe and knowing security was available was a nice plus. Overall a really nice stay and would visit again! 5 stars

Absolutely loved my stay at Kasa Sunset! The staff was incredibly helpful and patient, especially when I needed assistance locating the property and walking me through the self-check-in process. The room and the view were absolutely breathtaking, to say the least! Although we only stayed for one night, the amenities and everything provided in the room were more than enough to make our stay comfortable. I could easily see myself staying here for a longer trip. I absolutely plan on coming back with my kids for our next Universal trip. I would definitely recommend Kasa Sunset to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and beautiful place to stay!

Getting around

Kasa's prime location puts most nearby attractions and restaurants within a mile, easily accessible on foot or by rideshare. If you're driving, enjoy paid parking for a fee of $55/night. For travelers, we're just a 13-minute walk from the Hollywood / Vine Station on the Metro B Line (Red). Hollywood Burbank Airport is 10 miles away, while LAX is 13.6 miles away.

Parking at this property is limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with a nightly rate of $55, which includes in-and-out privileges. The garage clearance is 6 feet, 5 inches, so larger SUVs, oversized trucks, and vehicles with roof racks or cargo boxes will not fit. If your vehicle exceeds 6'5", we recommend using street parking or contacting us for suggestions on nearby off-site parking options.
