The building is nice (I’d toured it before), but my stay was frustrating. Communication was a major issue—I had to message via text, their platform, and Airbnb for hours to get responses. Simple questions, like where to find the entrance, took 6 hours of vague back and forth (I finally found it hidden behind construction), or where the modem was (it was out of reach and needed staff to fix). It felt like an offshore service or automation.
Advertised amenities like the pool were unavailable, which felt like a bait & switch. The constant use of keycards was also a hassle, though that might be personal preference.
The unit had ongoing issues: unreliable internet, a TV that had to be unplugged and replugged every use, and missing basics. They eventually provided cleaning products, but I had to buy instant coffee due to no coffee maker. The couch initially smelled like urine, but they replaced the cover.
Great space, liked the Public Goods products, but overall, frustrating experience.
