The Bell Athens by Kasa Living

I would rate The Bell Athens amazing!!! The bed is so inviting and perfectly made with the best linens and extremely comfortable. I loved the decor of the room. The extra amenities like the sound machine, robe, refrigerator with water stocked. It felt very bougie and boutique'y! I utilized the lobby a lot and felt it was cozy and inviting, again loved all the options for drinks, ice, espresso. Without knowing about The Bell prior to my stay I was so pleasantly surprised that I think I found a little hidden gem that I hope to stay at over the years as my children are attending UGA. Thank you for a fabulous stay while in Athens.

So this is the 1st time I've stayed at a virtual front desk hotel. So some of the "negatives" are because I didn't read all the instructions properly. Keeping that in mind, the hotel could not be in a better location for walking around town. I walked to 3 different places for cappuccino in the mornings without an issue. Yes there are few homeless folks around, but I didn't feel unsafe walking alone. There were quite a few students when I went as well. The room was super cute. The elevator was down for our week stay, so we did walk up the stairs to the terrace on the roof a couple times. Our room was on the lowest floor, though, so we didn't have to lug our bags up a bunch of stairs. We were confused about room cleanings, before we read that they were optional and could be requested. The towels, bath tissue etc was self-serve. They once ran out of washcloths, but when the manager contacted me about the stay so far, they were quickly provided. There was a sweet young man there to greet us at check-in. The Friday lobby party was a lot of fun. This was not a large hotel; it is very cozy and very intimate. Which suited us just fine. There are coded locks on the 2 entrance doors, so no one can just walk in off the streets. We also had tons of lunch/dinner choices within walking distance. There is a Target and CVS close by as well... incorporated into downtown buildings, not standalone stores. Another nice feature. All in all a great place to stay! Everyone was so nice there, as well. Beauty. Comfort. High end details. Beautiful place. Great Attention to detail and every detail thought of. Room was gorgeous bedding comfortable and linens felt like new. Great location to shops restaurants and campus. Noise from the street but was expected due to location. Ear plugs solved that for sleeping. Hope to stay again during future visits.

Exceptional stay in Downtown Athens! Fantastic experience visiting our son at UGA! The Bell Hotel delivered clear communication from booking to checkout, easy access, and wonderful amenities in a beautifully designed space. You can't beat the downtown location. Highly recommend!
