Conveniently located. Quiet. Clean. A little complicated dealing with room/building codes vs. a key card. You definitely have to be tech savvy to stay here. Check in they want you to do everything online, but if you put your foot down they will take care of it at front desk. Security 24/7, but no front desk after 5 or 6 PM. Stayed here multiple times, so… obviously I approve.

Très bon séjour, la localisation était parfaite. Nous avions la salle de bain partagé: aucune attente et très propre. L'hotel était un peu bruyant mais des boules quies étaient fournies.

Great location. Very cute place with coffee downstairs. Not the air bnb fault but the people above us were having a dance party until 3am and kept us all awake. Old creaky building has some sounds. Hopefully when you stay there aren’t hooligan street youths above you.

This was our first time visiting Portland for a birthday trip and staying at the Clyde was genuinely the most perfect setting we could have hoped for. The entire staff was kind and helpful, host responded within minutes, and the location was ideal for exploring downtown Portland. The host went above and beyond for us and we plan to return soon. highly recommend the queen room setup with private bathroom

Best downtown Portland spot The room as so cute, it was so nice and had so many things for use if you forgot. The location is so nice it’s right near everything, the only thing is the homelessness crisis so be careful but the amazing security guard walked me to my car when I had to walk alone at night. The atmosphere is super cute, very vintage feel and they have a cute Photobooth you can use. I feel the value of the room was fair and I am so happy I stayed here.

Don’t book her. Especially if you die. Because in that case they won’t refund you even through death and they hate dogs. My dog who is my service animal was in the EMERGENCY HOSPITAL almost died and unable to walk or travel and I needed to cancel and they refused to refund me. How terrible can these people be??

We checked in at a late time this evening and the front desk man was very polite and super helpful. We were a bit stressed because I was confused and worried that I messed up our booking online. He explained everything and helped us all with the process. He helped us with everything from parking, our luggage to checking in. Clyde hotel has to be the friendliest place to stay in Portland! Also the hotel itself is very beautiful, old but new at the same time. We will come back.

Adorable & Centrally Located Boutique Hotel Probably the place I will always stay when visiting Portland! Around the block from Powell Book Store, this adorable historic hotel has a modern industrial vibe to keep you cozy while exploring the area. The hotel was a great value too! The blackout shade helped my friend and I sleep soundly in one of the double bed rooms. The mini fridge had enough space for our Sizzle Pizza leftovers and we appreciated the extra waffle knit blankets for a movie night. The whole place was quite clean and the noise machine in the room made all the difference. I was grateful there was free bag check as well as a coffee shop next door. Checking in and out of the hotel was a breeze and the folks at the front desk were very nice.
