10/10 Exceptional
The Clyde Hotel has some serious style, as it was previously the ACE. Records and a record player in the room, leather couch, industrial touched… The aesthetic is the same with a much much lower price tag.
I had some issues getting support upon check in, as I had a last minute booking and customer support was difficult to get ahold of. But they made up for the delay with a room upgrade.
Loved the coffee tokens for the amazing coffee shop downstairs. There is some downsides to the area with parking costing a lot, and being downtown, there is the typical downtown element, but a super walkable area made it fun to get out and stroll.
Also for super light sleepers, it’s generally quiet, but not silent. Noise from the hall can be heard if another guest isn’t being cautious, and there is a noticeable hum at night from construction nearby. The earplugs provided did take care of both these issues, tho, and I got a great nights sleep.
