Great little place …beautiful area ….wish the restaurant was open

Property did not meet our expectations, it is good place, but so overrated. We had to wait a whole night for towels, and there is very limited availability of front desk. TV was not smart. Breakfast and location were great.

My stay was very pleasing Likes: The view of the sea was really very nice; the same with the beach, right there 'at the garden door'. Breakfast is, perhaps, one of the things you should improve on. There was very little fruit; there were no cold cuts or cheeses. Dislikes: When I booked the room, I did not understand - or perhaps, it was not that clear - that I had to pay a fee for cleaning service. This is something you should improve on

The rooms reminded me of Europe clean and spacious. In few steps you are on the beach. Great staff, very friendly.

Floors were not clean, sand and dirty tile. Coffee machine so loud it could wake the dead. Valet parking mandatory- not disclosed until arrival so tacked on an additional $150. Room was way smaller than photos showed for a king room. Very deceiving. But the saving grace was beachfront with free chairs and free breakfast.

Easy to find and with great access to the beach. The bathroom fan & light connection was noisy so take a small torch for using at night. You'll wake anyone else in the room if you turn it on!

This was my second stay here, and I honestly think it’s one of the best values for money in all of South Florida. It’s not the fanciest or most over-the-top place, but the rooms are very spacious, consistently clean, and if you book an ocean-view room, the view is absolutely incredible. It's right on the (gorgeous) beach. The staff is also genuinely kind and helpful. The hotel is a little ways away (~8 min drive, ~30 min beach walk) from the downtown area, of Deerfield - as a result the beach feels very private. I recommend taking advantage of the free shuttle (operated by the town of Hillsboro) that runs on tips. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, beachfront stay with great value and friendly staff, this place is hard to beat.

This is a hidden gem! This spot was the perfect hideaway for me. I wanted less noise, less people, less touristic spots, and more nature in the middle of an urban area. For me being right on the beach, being able to start each day in sunrise, and end each day with the sunset - was a true gift, balancing me circadian rhythm and calming me down. I’m a nomad so I looked for a place where I could rest from my journeys, while having good digital access. The rooms are basic, yet clean and well organized. Beds are super comfy (I stayed in 3 different rooms throughout my stay), and there’s also a nice breakfast every morning. Staff are super nice and will do all they can to help and accommodate. There are bicycles if you want to ride around, nice pool, good basic gym, and you’re really 5-10 minutes away by car from stores area. Some rooms have kitchenettes so if you’re staying for longer you may want to have one of those rooms. I highly recommend this spot if it answers your needs!

Very nice room, bed was kind low for someone with Parkinson’s. I had trouble getting up out of it. View was nice. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony.

We loved the location and beach here! Hillsboro Beach is much quieter than more popular beaches around Fort Lauderdale. The rooms are a bit older than what pictured but still nice. There is a complementary continental breakfast that is served from 8 to 11 AM. Beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas are all available although they are first come, first serve. The beach gets fuller in the afternoon so snag your chairs an umbrella by late morning. They have a self serve closet with extra personal items and towels, but you have to ask the front desk for toilet paper because people were stealing it. The desk is staffed by one person until 5:30 p.m. Overall fantastic location for the price.

We love staying at Hillsboro beach resort! It’s our third time staying and it never disappoints. The views are spectacular. We do miss the restaurant on site, the continental breakfast isn’t great but they did mention they’re hoping to make it better! Overall we loved our stay and will be back!!

We came to sleep and didn't get much of that. Overall the property is nice. However, I'm rating this hotel on the quality of sleeping in our room - specifically room 211. Although the bed and pillows were comfortable, too much light is let in around the curtains. Also, there is no soundproofing; we heard everything going on outside of our room. But the worst was the sound of water running through a wall. We believe it was the sound of every toilet flushing from the floors above us. We came to this hotel on NYE so we wouldn't have to drive home. So basically, we came just to sleep and we didn't get much of that.

We had to cancel our trip due to a family emergency. They were very professional and helpful through the process as we will be looking forward to visiting this location in the near future would highly recommend this property.

The pool was cold. I stayed for 5 days and no once we were able to swim in it. Very disappointed with how it’s promoted as heated pool and it’s a lie.

Staff was very responsive to your needs. In the 7 days we were there, we only needed there service 2 times. Both times asking for more towels and body sope. They were very polite. They don’t manage the front desk for more than a few hours per day. The valet parking, although nice, seemed a bit to expensive each day $29.00 p/d. That’s small complaints compared to just how beautiful the place was. The beach/ocean was so fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean room , staff , the breakfast omggg the welcoming letter in our room valet was awesome I just wish you didn’t have to pay and there was a self park option other then that we lived everything! And this is literally right on the beach you don’t have to leave for anything if you don’t want too

Room not clean, old, dirty elevator, no room service! Very noisy rooms, you can hear neighbours talking and… Beach was good Breakfast same thing for all days and also not fresh food So expensive for absolutely nothing Never back to this motel

The valet was good. The breakfast was good but we weren’t made aware of it in advance. Property was in need of updating outdoor cushions, some were stained and had burn marks.

Location is amazing. Property conditions could be better. Staff is nonexistent. Service is nonexistent.

The location is perfect for a relaxing getaway: secluded, quiet, and just steps from the beach with no busy roads to cross, making morning walks to the ocean effortless. The view from our room was absolutely spectacular and truly made the experience unforgettable.

An excellent stay from start to finish. Check-in was seamless, the staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were spotless, and the ocean views were beautiful!! Breakfast was excellent as well. Highly recommend, five stars! 👏

Location is the best, right on the beach. Room was clean and pleasant. Staff was very nice. Breakfast needs improvement but wasn’t terrible.

Badly need a better deal than 30$ a night to park

I gave this hotel a 2-star rating because overall it did not meet my expectations for the price. There is no real room service, you have to order in advance, and you are charged separately for each request, which is very inconvenient. The rooms are extremely noisy; you can hear everything happening outside, making it hard to rest. Additionally, there was not always staff available at the front desk or in the lobby, which made the stay feel unattended and unprofessional. The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location. Other than that, the price is not justified at all. I would not recommend this hotel.

Room was adequately clean, but shower splashes all over soaking the floor. Stayed a week and they only clean the room 1 time. We had to go looking for towels, tissues, toilet paper. When I booked, it stated onsite parking. I assumed that meant free. When we checked in we were told it was $29 per day plus tax and asked for up-front tips for valet because there is only valet parking. We were told it said it on the websitr. Well, technically it is, but only if you click on additional details tab.
