I absolutely loved my stay at Sonder Altmayer. They thought of absolutely everything such as two different white noise machines as well as ear plugs incase the city is too loud, which it wasn’t. It was very clean and cozy. I will be coming back to stay for sure!

Great Location Very updated, attractive apartment. Fantastic location! Only wish is that there would have been a second soft seat.

Worked out great Check in was convenient, as was the location. I like to walk, and I was able to cover the city very well on foot. Communication was great, and I appreciated the baggage storage room. The apartment was spotless, the shower was hot, and the bed was comfy. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple, and I saved a good chunk of money by staying here rather than in one of the nearby hotels. This being my first time staying with Sonder, I was initially a little baffled by the need to log into their site to do anything, but now that I've got the system down I will definitely stay with them again.

Everything about this place is amazing and you literally feel like you're at home. The only downside I can list is that I had to leave. Will be staying exclusively with sonder for all future trips if it's an option.

Greedy hotel company only cares about profits. Likes: This hotel is in a great location and has "potential" to be decent. However, Sonder's corporate approach to emergency cancellations and reservation changes needs to be re-thought. They need to get their act together and revamp their approach to reimbursing folks for making changes in reservations. Until then--BEWARE this company doesn't care a twit about you. Its whole focus is making as much money as it can! That's the whole Sonder model--no contact, no actual hospitality, just getting your credit card number and charging a lot of money for a room. Dislikes: My mother passed away two weeks before this trip and we ended up as a result needing to make a ONE NIGHT reservation change to adjust our plans. This GREEDY company, that obviously only carries about its profits, refused to allow us to make even a one-night change without charging us. I will never, ever in a milllion years stay with this chain again. Their contactless "we-don't care-about-anything-but-making money" approach to hospitality is totally despicable. As far as i am concerned they should get out of the hospitality business if they can't offer actual hospitality and kindness.

The place was great i would recommend the location to another

The building was in a great location and the room was clean. It was loud at night, but earplugs were provided.

Likes: The bed was comfortable and it’s beautifully furnished it’s like a comfortable little studio apartment. Dislikes: I stepped on earrings left by a prior guest, the sharp kinds. The water gets cold quiet fast, AC heater wouldn’t kick in, and on one of the days someone kept trying to get in my room, until they finally opened the door and saw it was double locked. Kinda scary :(

Atmosphere great nice location ca.nget to everything walking distance

Would love to stay again, wish it was a more affordable option consistently Likes: Location was awesome Dislikes: That we scored a great deal on the place for the one night but checked future prices for next month (February) and it was double the cost

Right in the heart of the best part of Savannah…once you’re parked you can eat, drink, shop, and sightsee so easily. Sonder makes it easy to access the room and it’s clean and well thought out. Very reasonably priced too.

Very walkable

Loved this Sonder Likes: Room was large. Nicely furnished. All facilities I needed and more. Location is great. Central and close to the Riverwalk. Plenty of restaurants nearby. CV's just across the road Dislikes: Nothing

Great Location in a Lovely City! Likes: Everything! The place was perfectly located, well-appointed, and comfortable! I would definitely stay again!

The Altmayer was absolutely amazing! Not only is it easy to book, the instructions were very clear and we had no issue checking in/out. I love that you do not have to check in at a desk, you have a code for the building, elevator, and room. Having a personal code for everything made it feel extremely safe. The altmayer is located right downtown, the parking was very easy to find as well & we were able to leave our car and walk to everything during our stay. The parking price was very reasonable for 3 days! I will definitely be back and I will book with Sonder again! A wonderful experience and the room was cozy and clean as well!

Location & the suite itself were great. Heater wasn’t working so well so took a while to warm up. If you will be arriving late and will need need 4 bath towels, make sure to let them know ahead of time as building not staffed. If you drive, the parking garage is a shirt walk away. You’ll also want to set up Sonder and iParkIt apps.

Would not stay there again Likes: LOCATION WAS GREAT - Dislikes: The place is beat up and need some work -- Was not that clean the sofa was so bad you could not sit on it

Centrally located, easy access, clean, for a great price! Likes: We loved how easy it was to check in and there was a place to store our luggage. The room was big with a kitchen and laundry. We were in the center of everything. There was a cabinet in the hall with extra items we may need like detergent, soap, sponges, paper towels. This was thoughtful and useful.

Super Likes: Excelente ubicación, instalaciones muy cómodas, acceso independiente, suministros adicionales muy convenientes Dislikes: Todo estuvo bien

Was absolutely beautiful our second time staying at one of there properties

Private and central Likes: Central Dislikes: New to the contactless concept but we adapted quickly.

Likes: Great location and facilities. Dislikes: Front door was a little temperamental. Needed to pull on thr door while entering the code into key pad hi ñ on the door frame. The first time it happened we thought we were locked out for the night

Good stay but thin walls It was the perfect location and a good stay. Good price for the condition. It was kind of hard to find but we eventually got there. The walls were very thin and we were right by the elevator. So it was VERY loud and constant beeping from the elevator. We could hear exact conversations that happened in the hall.

The room itself was fine, but the Wi-Fi did not work for the TV. They said they knew about the problem and we’re working on it. They did give me credit towards my stay, but they never fix the Wi-Fi problem. In the bedroom area, there’s a noise of air moving through a tube all night long. They did have earplugs on the nightstand, but I think they should let you know that this is a situation when you rent this particular room.

Great unit, great location but no internet during my stay.

Likes: Location is center. Has kitchen and washet Dislikes: Broken table, itchy bed sheet

Great location. Very spacious and at-home feeling Very comfortable. Great location. I was walking distance to everything I wanted to do. The at-home feeling was great. Very limited table/desk space.

Nice room in perfect location in central Savannah. Very good value for money.

Amazing stay! Located in Historic district near all of the action. Parking deck close by. Rooms were clean and the staff was very responsive to any requests.

Great area access to everything!!

Thin walls The apartment was awesome. Great location. Everything we needed was there. The biggest issue we had was our neighbors next-door. It sounded like they were in the same room. We heard every word of their conversations including the constant use of the “F” word, we heard all of their music which sucked and then we heard them having sex. Not exactly, the most comfortable thing when you’re there with your 20-year-old daughter. Otherwise everything else was great.

Likes: The location is perfect and close to many shops and necessities for lower downtown Savannah. and I enjoyed feeling like I had a little apartment to go back to for relaxing during the day rather than a hotel room Dislikes: The only complaint I have is that the bed for me personally wasn’t comfortable, my husband however liked it

Excellent and Relaxing Stay! I absolutely loved my stay at The Altmayer! The space was very clean and comfortable, having everything I needed, while I also felt secure and safe.

Great location. Paper thin walls so you could hear every single word from neighboring apartment. Likes: There was no breakfast Dislikes: Freezer did not work. No towel bars or any place to hang towels in bathroom.

Great location and very clean.

Nring your own sleeping bag! Likes: Great location. Clean large rooms. Good kitchen. Great communication with staff by text. Dislikes: I hated the bed. There was one extra-thick mattress covered with a quilted pad and fitted sheet. The problem was the sheet did Not fit the mattress so within five minutes of going to bed it would slip off a corner, then bunch into uncomfortable mounds making it impossible to get any sleep. I would get up all night long and try to remake the bed but nothing worked, so I was totally exhausted the whole week and could no get my work done.

Likes: Very nice hotel that has a apartment feel. Excellent location Dislikes: Shower water pressure could be better

Wasn’t as clean as we’d like. It was also very dark inside with only 1 window. The water pressure wasn’t so good either and the bathroom sink didn’t drain. On the positive side; the location was good.
