Kasa Archive is in the new RED (Reno Experience District), in southern mid-town. It's a great location, walking distance to movies and Reno Public Market. There are approximately 7 apartment buildings, and Kasa has its own building with short-term and medium-term rentals, and the other buildings have long-term rentals plus some MTRs with Landing. The entire complex is new, with new furniture, appliances, and housewares, plus a nice gym and pool 2 buildings down. If staying here, contact Kasa via their website inquiry form and you might get a better deal.
That said, the sheetsare cheap, plastic microfiber placed over a plastic mattress protector. That might be ok for 2 nights but makes for an uncomfortable, hot, and sweaty longer stay. I asked Kasa for cotton sheets and they said they didn't have any. If they don't step up their sleep game, this might be their downfall.
Moreover, though the RED website boasts on-site maintenance, there's none in the Kasa Archive building. The elevator went out 3 times during my 10 day stay and since there was no on-site maintenance, was out until the next day. Someone vomited in the elevator, and though I reported it as soon as I saw it (gross!!), it wasn't cleaned until the next day. There were 2 power outages that lasted 5 to 10 minutes each - no big deal, except it knocked out the wifi (and TV) until the next day. No compensation offered, and they refused my request for a late checkout.
I would only stay here again if they upgrade their sheets to cotton and put a cotton mattress protector on top of the plastic one. This is not a cheap place, and their sheets shouldn't be cheap, either.
