This was my first and likely last time using Airbnb. I stayed for five nights and spent over $1,060. Despite this, only 3/4 of a roll of toilet paper was provided. When I asked if more was available, the host simply told me to purchase it myself from a nearby store. The responses felt automated and impersonal, with no effort made to provide support or service.
Second, and most concerning, was a serious security breach. A man entered the unit without notice by punching in the door code and letting himself in. He claimed to be a maintenance worker, but he arrived completely unannounced, didn’t knock, and there was no prior communication. This is an alarming safety issue. Imagine if a child, elderly person, or guest was alone, unaware, or in a vulnerable situation or if valuables were left unattended. Unauthorized access without consent or notice is absolutely unacceptable.
The only positive was the gym, which was as pictured. However, in the future, I'll be staying at a hotel instead.
