Had a recent two-night stay at Kasa Downtown Austin. I’m normally a hotel guy, not AirBnB/apartment rental or anything without a front desk staff, so was a bit apprehensive about trying Kasa. It exceeded all my expectations. The pre-stay communication (how to check in, navigate the building, etc.) was super-clear, and the codes all worked seamlessly when I arrived. The apartment was spacious, clean (except for a previous guest’s uneaten Ben & Jerry’s in the back of the freezer), the bed was comfortable, and the washer/dryer worked great. I appreciated the kitchen supplies, towels, shampoo/conditioner, etc. Only downsides were the building (not much personality and not terribly secure) and the fitness center (small and not very well-equipped). Solid location in the middle of the action in Austin. I’m still a hotel person first, but would definitely come back here especially on an extended trip where a washer/dryer comes in handy.

Great, spacious location in downtown Austin Likes: The complex is very centrally located downtown. We were dropping our son at UT and his dorm was an 8-minute drive away. The unit itself was quite large for a 1 bedroom, with nice amenities. Parking was convenient, and the gym is well appointed. Didn't get a chance to use the pool. Overall a really nice option. Dislikes: Minor things: the building is large so the walk from the car to the room can be long. Since we were moving my son with a bunch of luggage we felt it. And the bed was squishier than I like, but some may prefer that.

I had a little trouble with the check in...only because I didn't thoroughly read the instructions. That is 100% on me...just make sure you go through everything. I enjoyed the pool, the location was incredible and the unit was incredible. And the BATS! Just a few blocks away, and holy moly...I went three of the four nights I was there. I only rented a car for 1 day because everthing is so close. I'd stay there again without hesitation. Great value for what you get.

Stayed here for a girls trip. Very good location, far enough away from the chaos but close enough that you can walk to a lot of restaurants and bars. The place is huge and very clean! Instructions to get in were a little complicated but once you figure it out it’s easy from there. Would recommend for a trip to Austin!

Parking was easy, the apartment was very well put together and nothing was janky or old. It felt like a $500 a night hotel for much less. They also responded to any questions we had within minutes.

The location of our property is ideal for those who want to be in the center of it all. Downtown Austin is walkable and offers the convenience of efficient city transportation. The nearest station from our property is the Downtown Station which can take you straight to the airport. While in the city, we recommend using the Ride Austin rideshare app to get where you’re going easily and efficiently. The nearest airport is Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, 6.2 mi from our Kasa.
