Best Parade-Route Stay in Savannah — Ideal for Families w/ Sensory Needs
Stayed here for St. Patrick’s Day, and it was an excellent experience overall.
Location: Directly on the parade route—made for a perfect home base with quick access in and out while still feeling controlled and safe with the crowds. This setup worked especially well for families with autism or sensory sensitivities, since it was easy to step inside and reset when needed.
Atmosphere: Well-balanced, active but not overwhelming.
Rooms: Clean, comfortable, and set up well for a multi-day stay.
Value: Strong, especially given the event pricing across downtown.
Cleanliness: Very good upon arrival and throughout the stay.
Noise level: Better than expected for the location and time of year.
Service: Excellent. The check-in guide was very easy to follow, and the team was attentive. Communication could be handled without in-person interaction, which is a major benefit for those who prefer a low-contact environment.
Amenities: Covered everything needed without unnecessary extras. The room setup is particularly well-suited for families with autism—noise machine available, blinds that darken the room enough for rest, and a well-stocked kitchen for maintaining routines.
Out of all the hotels and Airbnbs we’ve used for the parade over the years, this has been the best experience so far.
I was in town participating in the parade, so proximity and logistics mattered—and this location delivered.
We plan to stay here again next year and will also use this location throughout the year. I’ll be looking into setting up a corporate account for my business as well.
Thanks
