Kasa was a quaint little place, a home away from home! The building was insanely cute, and so was the room when we got there. The check in process was easier than most hotels I’ve ever been in, and likewise to the check out process. Great stay!

Kasa was the perfect place to stay for my trip! It was central to a lot of great attractions, check in was easy and simple, and my room was nice and cozy. WIll definitely stay again!

Comfortable bed and linens. Nice size space. Can be very loud with street noise and other guests they do provide ear plugs

Nice clean stay, beautiful little nook to sit and enjoy the city noise which isnt too bad at night. It does get a little toasty at night since there is no AC but just crack open a window (: The location is prime if you are staying for a weekend getaway, far enough from busy traffic, safe area, and close enough to tourist hot spots!

2nd time staying and planning on staying again next week. Great location and price for awesome place!

This place was a great value and we are glad we chose it for our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-located. We especially liked that aside from a fridge in our room, there was a very nice full kitchen (large fridge, cookware, stove, oven, coffee/tea/hot water, toaster, microwave, etc.) that we could use. This was great as eating out is so expensive in San Francisco. We bought some basic groceries and were able to eat all breakfasts and a few other meals using the kitchen dining room. This saved a lot of time and energy as well as a lot of money for us. They have a digital concierge which was a big plus although also a source of the only problem we encountered. It is really great to be able to text them 24/7 with questions, and they were always really polite and prompt with their responses. The only problem was that occasionally it was obvious they were not reading our previous messages or communicating well as a team and it caused some frustration. However, when we brought up the issues, they were very apologetic and worked very hard to correct the issues and make up for it. I really appreciated that and was very satisfied to see how they took responsibility and took care of us. I think there is a little room for improvement there, but overall it was a great experience and a great value.

My husband and I had a great experience at Kasa! I was a little nervous about a self check-in hotel but everything went seamlessly and every interaction with staff was prompt and friendly. Loved the privacy and the feeling of having our own private apartment in San Francisco!

The perfect place to stay in San Francisco The room felt like somewhere between an Airbnb and a hotel, with the best of both. All the comfort and coziness of a home apartment but with the amenities and service of a hotel. Everything from booking to check out was so easy.

Super great location! Centrally located and close to some good restaurants (Sutter St Pub is a really good place for a beer and a burger.) I was a little worried about being close to the Tenderloin but I didn’t have a problem with running into or seeing too many. One thing you should know is that with such a good location comes city noise! Kasa does provide ear plugs but if you are a light sleeper, you may consider staying somewhere away from the city center. Other than that, great place to stay while in the Bay!

Nice place to stay for a short visit around Nobb Hill. The rooms are small and simple, but there are some nice details like the bedside wireless charging stations and USB port built into the lamp on the night stand. The kitchen and lounge downstairs are very nice.

Es gibt meine Gepäckaufbewahrung vor Ort, sondern in einem andern Hotel um die Ecke. Das ist nicht optimal und kostet Geld, klappt aber reibungslos. Alles andere ist im Kasa super. Die Zimmer sind sauber und schön, es gibt eine große moderne und saubere Küche für alle und ein Wohnzimmer, dass echt gemütlich ist. Wäsche wasche ist kein Problem und die Kommunikation klappt via SMS und Email problemlos. Ich würde hier jederzeit wieder unterkommen wollen.

Great Location in the middle of San Francisco. A lot of important Sightseeing Spot’s are close to the accommodation. The room was clean, comfortable and stylish. Only the windows has to be closed because of the restaurant smells.

Location was great. They communicated clearly throughout the experience. One thing I didn’t expect was the internet speed: it was not so fast as I expected.

Charming old building in downtown at a good rate. Nice shared amenities in the basement. Comfortable beds! I enjoyed staying here. Only concern to note is that there is a fair amount of street noise at night, which didn't bother me but might bother any light sleepers.

Check in and out process was a breeze, a welcome gift in the room, with local goods was a nice touch, cozy and charming rooms - especially loved mine cos of the view! Location was perfect. They shld never hide the fact that its an old building because I think that’s where it gets interesting. It was very well maintained and the property Manager was very meticulous. Super clean rooms!

La Monarca by Kasa Review Long post ahead warning. This was not our first visit to San Franciso so we’ve been to quite a few hotels but I can definitely say this is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in so far. It was the most convenient when it comes to the check in and out process. Very seamless! Everything was done over my mobile device, no logging in to a computer, no giving your info to some stranger, and I love not having to chit chat with a random person when I am tired and just ready to crash in my bed. When we arrived, the place was a surprise! It was in a nice area, accessible to everything, from food to party! The old building was charming, especially the elevator as i’ve never seen one like it before. Very interesting! And then the room. And the view. OH MY GOD! It was one of the best views I’ve seen of SanFo, right in the middle of downtown! I dreamed about sitting in a bay window one day, looking at the street below and the view of the skyline. It came true finally. We had a nice welcome package sitting by the table in our bay window, the kitchen and lounge area was unexpectedly nice especially if you plan to stay long term (up to 25 days) and the cleanliness was something I particularly liked. The properly manager was very meticulous! Overall, i would give this place a 10 if it was available. The only recommendation is, to have some QR code available somewhere in the room so that we can see where Kasa’s other properties are located. That way we can plan for our next vacation seamlessly like this one. Hats off to the management team of La Monarca by Kasa!

Great place to stay! The booking process was so efficient. The accessibility of the virtual front desk is totally one of a kind and very useful. Right in the heart of San Francisco, the room is very clean and all the amenities I need is there. The kitchen was a great addition to its value, we’re able to cook breakfast in the morning. La Monarca is a gem!

This property (La Monarca) is a good price for the neighborhood where it is located within central San Francisco. Unfortunately, communicating directly with Kasa was not always easy and there were issues with their internet connections (i.e. down for 2 full days). Further, the cleanliness of the room, in particular the bed, was less than to be desired. Overall, it is an okay for accommodation but there are nicer places to stay for similar costs within the area.

Kasa is located in Nob Hill - so close to the cable car lines and within decent walking distance to most popular spots in SF. Truly prime location! The room wasn't spotless, and the old-school heating system was unable to be turned off. we were on the 5th floor and would cook if we didn't keep the windows open 24/7. regardless of these minor issues, we loved our stay at Kasa and would return! we can't wait to come back to San Francisco.

Great team to communicate with and prompt with their responses. I was here for business for one week and needless to say I am back again this week for business and I can’t say how pleased I am to be staying here once again.

Las personas sin techo duermen en la puerta del hotel. El día que llegué estuve en la puerta durante media hora esperando el código de acceso y Expedia no pudo comunicarse con el hotel. Entré gracias a un huesped y tuve que esperar otros 20 minutos hasta que me enviaron el código de acceso a la habitación. El peor alojamiento que he contratado con expedia.

Pretty good value. Internet was down for a day which kind of sucked. Also got locked out for a bit but their support was able to help me pretty quickly.

Easy check in, perfect amount of space. Loved the Butler room service option!

The place was great value and in an area surrounded by lots of hotels and some dining options. We felt safe walking around the streets in the area, even at night.

Nice, clean room. In the heart of everything and the communal kitchen is really convenient. Would come back here next time I visit

Great spot. Really nice room and I was able to walk to a lot of my favorite spots downtown. The room is small but great for 1 or 2 people. In my case 1 person and my dog. The area is a little rough, but much rougher if you go a few blocks south. It was generally pretty quiet on Sutter.

La Monarca is a self-service hotel (you have to virtually check-in through their website) with a great location. The rooms are very clean, have integrated building heating, and are big enough if you're planning on going out most of the day and just planning on using the room to rest. Will definitely consider going back for upcoming trips to SF.

Great clean place, close to everything

The location was great (so close to so much!), and the property was exactly as described. Tons of amenities available in the common spaces. Kasa’s communication far exceeded my expectations. Thanks for a great stay!
