Reasonable price, cute place, and great location with restaurants all around.

Great value, perfect for short stays with lots of restaurants in the area

Was pleased to find such a good value in the heart of RWC. Very clean, comfortable, quiet, ideal location, high tech, responsive, in room amenities. Rooms are small but sufficient. Must be ok w not having a front desk attendant. However the virtual support is excellent.

I look for clean, safe, comfort, location and value when evaluating a hotel. Kasa Niche had it all. It was remodeled not that long ago and they have thrown in amenities in the room. Understand that there isnt a lobby attendant but they were very responsive via text to my questions and needs. So if you need that level of face to face service, not your place.

Private and sleek getaway in the heart of Redwood City, and a great spot to explore the surrounding areas.

This was our second stay at this hotel in two months. The room was clean and tidy, but we encountered a few minor issues (1. the door was difficult to close; 2. we forgot our electronic key to the safe), but these were resolved within two hours. The hotel's location is very convenient, right in the city center, close to the Redwood City transport center, and with many good restaurants nearby.

Very clean, safe and convenient. My room was next to the road so this morning around 5am you could hear the dumpster trucks. Every now and then road noise but nothing too bad!

Listen. This is not a hotel. Hotels have a person at the front desk who answers questions. Hotels offer services like stowing luggage, and moving rooms when necessary. This place requires a code to get inside the building and no one actually works there. This type of lodging needs a new category. I propose “digital boarding house.” That said, the housekeeping crew is very nice. Room 106 is terrible. It faces a loud street, is next to a noisy ice maker and being on the ground floor, has footsteps on the ceiling.

Whenever I just need a place to crash in Redwood City, I always choose this place. The rooms are a little bit on the smaller side, but for a solo traveler it's the perfect size

The room was too small, did not have enough room to move around, and it was too loud in the morning with the garbage truck in the morning as well as different people in the hallways. Will not recommend!

Clean room and great staff!

Room was clean and new. The shape of my room was very narrow, and it was weird having the bed at cross purposes with the TV. I had to sit sideways on the bed in order to wash the TV. Also, it was a bit confusing, knowing which remote to use to hook up the TV. The only other comments I have are that the folding stand for luggage was missing one of the coasters at the bottom, so I had to improvise by folding up a bunch of Kleenexes and placing them underneath To make it steady. And the floor in the shower was a bit slippery. Other than that, everything was great!. I will select business for the kind of trip, but it actually was due to having a surgical procedure at the Nearby Kaiser Hospital at 6:30 AM, and not wanting to drive from Concord on very little sleep.

Parking was challenging, noisy and communication was difficult in attempt to request a different room which was confirmed prior to check in but wasn’t followed through.

Kasa Niche was so pleasant and cozy! The only thing I’d say is that the mattresses were a little too hard on my back, but nonetheless pleasant stay. I’ll be back here if I’m ever in Redwood City again!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was very friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication super easy. The location was perfect—close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing.

I love staying here because it is next to all the food, my only issue was Deep black scratch marks in the shower, the bed was comfortable and firm. Something weird was the TV, it doesn’t swivel, so you cannot lay in bed and watch it, without moving your neck is a really weird angle. I will stay again if I need a quick spur of the moment snack from Pasha 😝

For the money and location, this hotel is a steal. It’s pretty bare bones, but clean and provides all the necessities. I love the free laundry offered to longer term guests. My biggest complaint is the lack of an elevator, and there was no notice of this on the Airbnb listing or the hotel website—which is definitely an issue for those with mobility issues. It also was quite annoying getting in late and having to carry heavy bags up a flight of stairs. Overall the experience was positive-the location cannot be beat! If you choose to stay here and have an option for a rental car, definitely don’t do it. The parking situation is not great and is definitely a hassle.

Kasa was very good, simple and effective. loved the free coffee and snacks and water in the room. Location was good in RWC as well.

Perfect place to stay in Redwood City! There are lots of bars and restaurants in the area. The room was very nice and clean.

Overall: Exactly what I needed at a reasonable price in a great location. Small hindrances: 1. I agree with other reviews that the rooms are small, however I expected this and it worked well for my short stay. 2. Parking is not included. Again, I expected this and there is cheap public parking right behind the building, it's just that the lot was often at least a little bit of a fight to find a space in; it's a desirable lot for the larger town center. 3. Cleaning services in my case were a little over eager. Checkout time is listed as 11am by default; I planned my morning around this. Still, I was woken up at 9:30 by someone entering my room to clean, they apologized and left when realizing I was there. Later (at about 10:15) someone again knocked and then opened the door while I was showering. Again they scurried off when realizing the mistake, but twice is enough to leave a bad impression on the system that otherwise felt pretty solid for all of the check-in and stay. What is the checkout button online for? What is the doorknob hangar that says "checked out" for? If I was somehow still in the room past 11am and someone comes in the clean, that's on me - It's not my room anymore. Before that? Please chill out.

Be sure to read the description of your room as what is shown in the listings photos won’t necessarily match what you’re given. I understand all rooms aren’t the same, but when I book an Airbnb listing I expect it to match the photos which this did not.

I had such a nice, peaceful stay! The room was clean and self-check-in made it easy. I’d recommend!
