My colleagues and I booked this hotel because of how close it is to our office, but beyond convenience of location, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Two of the days I was staying there, there was a plumbing issue so they had major construction happening in the lobby. I understand unexpected things can happen, but the building manager did not seem to understand that not being able to hear myself think when I had planned on taking a meeting from the room, is an issue. When you book a room, you assume you won't have to vacate that room for the day and if you had to, you'd be compensated for that. They did not offer any compensation for this issue, and I felt like I received attitude when that was suggested.
Aside from the loud drilling happening underneath my room, it is also very noisy in the rooms from the noise outside. I think they know this because they provide ear plugs. Fortunately noise doesn't bug me much when i'm sleeping, but if it bothers you, I wouldn't recommend staying here.
In addition to the noise issues, this hotel canceled two of my colleagues reservations with one colleague only finding out once she tried to check in. This is just unacceptable.
All in all, this was a very disappointing experience.
