Great Place It was modern, clean, efficient, inviting and easy. The location is in a desirable part of Redwood City and close to amazing restaurants like Milagro's. Communication was fantastic.

Great price, comfortable and quiet. Likes: I liked that the hotel felt secure, requiring a code to enter the front door and the room. It was also cozy and small, not too big and a good price for what we got! Plus the rooms amenities included a Keurig/hot water pitcher/fridge/and snacks! Dislikes: There wasn’t much I disliked… the bed was a bit firm but it was still high quality.

Dislikes: Parken war nicht zu jeder Tageszeit einfach, der am Hotel gelegene öffentliche Parkplatz ist sehr stark frequentiert. Die Verdunklungsmöglichkeiten im Zimmer könnten optimiert werden. In 4 Tagen gab es keine Zimmerreinigung.

Really nice place to stay in San Francisco area. You can actually feel safe, and be near to everywhere. This hotel is particularly near a motorcycle rental place (by train), which is an amazing option if you wanna know the surroundings (Lombard street, Golden Bridge and, Stinson beach).

very nice hotel 1. room is clean and contains everything needed. 2. They also offer free coffee or hot chocolate or other drinks 3. GM Jagruti is very nice. She helped me finish early check in when I arrived earlier.

Loved the stay with Kasa! Super easy to get in and the space in the room was all used purposefully, everything we needed was there. Will stay at another Kasa for sure.

Super easy to find and comfortable to stay in. There isn’t a elevator so keep that in mind

I’m staying at the Kasa Niche Hotel here in Redwood City for work, and I have nothing but positive things to say so far. I didn‘t choose my hotel, my company did, but I am super pleased with it! It‘s a virtual front desk check in, so everything is done from your phone before you get there. I wasn’t sure how it would work, but it ended up being super easy! Right before check in time I was sent a code for the front door and a code for my room. I had no trouble getting in, the common area was modern, clean and well lit. It reminded me of a nice apartment complex— each room had a touch screen key pad to type in your code. I found my room easily and my code worked. There is no elevator, so if you’re in a second story room it is stairs only (no luggage carts). My room was modern, well lit, clean and stocked with some waters. I was seriously so impressed with how nice everything was. The room is small with a king bed and small desk, but it’s perfect for a work trip. It had a fridge, a large tv, and was stocked with an alarm clock/sound machine/iron in the drawers. The bathroom was clean, updated with trendy finishes and had a cool light up mirror. There is a staff member who is usually around cleaning/tidying who is super friendly, she asked if I needed any help getting in and made sure I got into my room when I was fumbling my room code one day. It was very quiet at night and I didn’t hear anyone in nearby rooms. Overall extremely impressed and I’d definitely stay here again if ever in the area!

I had two primary issues with my stay. The first issue is that offering thick down comforters in the summer with no thinner blanket option means it's impossible to get a good night's sleep because you'll overheat. Even when I blasted the AC and turned it down to 65, I would still overheat underneath the comforter and my face would freeze. I tried setting the thermostat at every degree between 65 and 74, and could not find a temperature that was comfortable. I solved this by just using a towel instead, because the lack of 24/7 physical support on-site (that you'd get at even a motel or hostel) meant I was stuck with this seasonally inappropriate comforter until someone could service the request at 9am. The second issue is that the air quality/ventilation was very poor and felt comparable to a plane. I'm not sure what's up with the ventilation in the Kasa Hotel. It could have just been my room, but the room felt really stuffy and uncomfortable, and that also affected my sleep quality. Ultimately since I only got 3 hours of sleep between 5am and 8am underneath a towel, I will not be coming back.

I had an excellent stay, i liked how clean and organized everything was, it definitely was well worth every penny. It was in a great location very peaceful quiet and private. Loved it !!

Pleasantly surprised Needed a place to stay overnight after attending a concert. Initially, I was put off by the virtual check-in requirement but it turned out to be very convenient. Communication before checking in and during my stay was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived, the place has been completely renovated, modern, nice lobby, and very, very clean. I'd selected a small room on the 2nd floor, also super clean, and it was roomier than I expected. Nice amenities and toiletries. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. My only critique of the room was the sink design. The sink width is narrow so water splashed out on the floor but dropped a towel down, problem solved. It's a short and easy walk to/from the train station and there are plenty of dining options nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

I’d stay here again This hotel was perfect for me. The room was compact (I chose the smallest room and knew it would be like that) , but despite its size it was well laid out, well lit, and comfortable. I had no problems with the virtual check-in process—to me it makes sense. If you’re a person who needs to interact with another human at a hotel, this is probably not the property for you. Personally, I’d be happy if I never had to talk to people, so it was great for me. 😁 Oh, also as a solo female traveler I felt totally safe here (both in the hotel and in the neighborhood), even walking around fairly late at night.

Travel RN waiting on Air BnB Excellent location! I walked around the area for 2 days and had plenty to see, eat, and explore. I saw a few homeless folks. Both were friendly and were not intrusive. This is a clean and safe area. I would recommend bringing a water bottle if you like tap water and bring extra bottles of water or get some around the corner at the Grocery Outlet (LOVed), as the room only comes with 2 and there aren't any in the lobby. The lobby and the room have coffee, tea, and cocoa. That being said, I am 100% certain the staff would have provided some extra water bottles if I had asked. They are resposive, professional, and really kind. This hotel is spotless! I stayed on the 2nd floor so noise from above was no issue. I didn't notice excessive road noise from Friday to Monday. They do provide earplugs and blackout masks. The printer in the lobby is Bluetooth and worked great! Fair price, friendly staff, extremely clean, beautiful little neighborhood! I highly recommend and would definitely book again! If you are not technically savvy, maybe skip this as it does require you to be independent when checking in and out and entering the building and your room...and operating the TV. Hint-if you have Samsung or non I phone like me, use the "SmartView" option on your phone and choose the "Screenshare" option on the Samsung TV. That is different than the way the instructions in the room instruct you but is a cinch!

If you get room 223 - run and book another hotel. Or maybe they will move you to a different room - unless they are "sold out". Sleeping in room 223 (the end room on the second floor) is impossible. It's like being next to a large furnace or ventilation system. I measured: there is constant 50-55dB noise measured by the phone laying on the pillow.

Great place to stay! Easy to check in/out and great amenities like fruit coffee and tea. Also really nice toiletries including lotion, shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. Also a super comfy bed! Note parking is off site but easy to find.

Likes: The hotel is in the center of the city, close to everything. I loved the bed, very comfy, and the fact that there was a coffee machine for complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby. Dislikes: I have no complaints.

Great affordable location in Redwood City. This is a clean, affordable hotel with self serve laundry facilities included. The rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated. Even though it is virtually staffed the response time was amazingly quick whenever I had a question. Highly recommended.

Great clean room, super smooth checkin process. The only problem was that the windows offered no sound proofing and as a result it was very loud in the room at night, hearing all cars, pedestrians, drunk ppl etc :(

Had to file Kasa’s hotel deposit transaction using my card as a fraudulent charge through my back to get what’s supposedly a hold (pre authorized). Customer service and just used the same reason on multiple occasion that they sent it already but to no further support of evidence via email. I booked last Feb 2023 and it took more than 60 days to get it back through my bank's effort. It's management had little involvement to accommodate this concern.

Would recommend to my minimalist friends. Besides the virtual check in process and getting the tv connected, the stay was very nice, quiet, safe, and within walking distance to eateries and bars. Coffee everywhere. Dog friendly area. Definitely going back, especially if it’s just me.

Make sure you bring ear plugs and an eye mask. Rooms are bright from outside lights and the walls are so think we could hear storing and people talking late a night. Walking distance to restaurants was nice.
