Very convenient to Fox Theater Likes: Very central in Redwood City Dislikes: Compact small rooms but with all amenities included

Worst experience ever. Would not recommend a Niche. Extremely noisy. Can hear upper people walking around in their room. Car horns blaring. Never got the heat to come on. Could not get tv connected to wi-fi. ( This Should already be done). This room reminds me of a very small RV. You can sleep, toilet and bath in same room.‼️‼️

Location, location, location. A micro pod in the center of downtown. The basket of banana in the morning and coffee/tea machine was welcome. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Super friendly staff (when they are around).

Everything about the experience was easy, efficient, and comfortable. The rooms were great, clean, and all the right amenities were there that I needed. I felt like I got my money's worth without overspending.

Inexpensive hotel near Redwood city station Likes: Fully automated check in system. Close to public transportation (Caltrain and bus). Espresso machine in every room. Dislikes: None.

Likes: Location and cleanliness. Dislikes: The only problem was the room above me making loud noises early in the morning and late at night. Heavy foot stomping and dragging the chair across the floor.

I loved my stay at Kasa Niche in Redwood City. Easy check-in & kindly early. Fun neighborhood w good restaurants & a GREAT, nearby morning coffee café. The Kasa folks were extremely responsive & helpful when I had questions. The space was modern, crisp, spacious, clean, practical, & had a very comfortable, king sized bed. I met wonderful people from the world over, also with dogs, in the spacious entry lobby which made my stay with my little traveling dog even more delightful. From the ease of dropping off luggage, to the basket of yummy bananas for guests, there were so many thoughtful details at Kass’s Niche. My only suggestion is that Kasa provide ear plugs or that you be sure to bring your own, as my first night there was a very noisy wedding party also staying at the Kasa location. Second night was blissfully quiet. Thank you Kasa!

Please note this is a efficiency hotel. The rooms are not too quite, you can hear guest in the hallway, and neighboring rooms. The rooms on the southside of the building are flooded at night by bright lights from the adjacent apartment complex. There is no staff on hand. I stayed for five days and never got clean towels. The room is very small, and the night rate is higher through AirBnB. Though Kasa says they guarantee the best rate, they do not negotiate through AirBnB, The location is very central to downtown Redwood City.

I know a lot of people complain about the lack of parking, but I stayed at the Sheraton in Palo Alto last week and had to pay 25 dollars a day to park in the hotels lot. Niche has a convenient parking lot behind the hotel, it is only a dollar an hour, and free from 8pm till 8am. This hotel has lots of places to go in walking distance, a dozen or more places to eat and a movie theater within about 2 blocks. Nice, clean, modern, and over-all a good experience and yes I had a bathroom in my room. Also it was half the cost of the Sheraton with lots more to do in walking distance.

Lovely place, very clean, very safe, and very well taken care of. Check in process is easy just do it ahead of time on your phone or computer and you're set. Stayed there twice and would come back again!

Good stay overall Likes: Location is good, the hotel is clean, there is also a coffee machine on the first floor. Staff is very helpful. Dislikes: No elevator, beds are too hard

Excellent stay - read through the details! The room was fantastic and I really enjoyed my stay. The price was excellent. I had a little trouble signing in because my tech was not up to date. You need to use Chrome rather than Safari to register and guests should be sure to read about the conditions for parking. That being said, I would definitely stay here again!

Nightmare experience at the Kasa Niche. TL;DR: My room was likely being used by staff as overflow/nap space; I experienced complete failure of the customer service one would expect from a hotel; there were multiple invasions of my privacy, including an unauthorized room entry; and a broken heater AND NO HOT WATER, to cap it all off. Elaborating: my room was equipped with some sort of digital/remote doorbell device (think: strobe lights and a loud alarm sound) that started going off intermittently at 4am, the first night I arrived. Attempting to contact 'support' about this exposed the failures/dangers of actually having no one on site: two different people that I spoke to over chat (website, or via my phone/text) had any idea what to do about my situation. They were likely in a call center thousands of miles away. It took 6 hours for them to get back to me. By then, I had found this device and uninstalled it. I told them not to enter my room (there's not even space for a large suitcase), and THEY ENTERED MY ROOM ANYWAY and took the device with them (see picture). That night, after telling them I would be checking out early, my heater failed. Taking a cold shower that next morning, I remarked to myself that I knew I shouldn't have given them my biometric information in exchange for an "easy check in", in the first place. Travelers beware. 0/10, do not recommend.

Kasa came as billed. No frills, clean room. Perfect for working individuals or a couple, although it gets a little snug with 2 people. Definitely worth the price and check in was super easy.

Great experience! I am a hotel snob and this hotel experience was wonderful! It was easy to get in to the building and into the room. The reception area was clean and beautiful and had nice amenities. The room itself was modern, clean and cozy. There was convenient parking in front to drop off people or luggage. The location was in the middle of Redwood City’s entertainment center, which was walkable and safe. The recommended parking was full because it was a Friday night, but there was another parking lot nearby that was inexpensive. I have stayed at name brand hotels with far more expensive parking and rooms and this is better than them. I would stay at this brand of hotels again if they were in the area I was traveling to.
