Super fun part of town and very convenient. Wish I could keep this place a secret ;)

I stayed this hotel 1 month. Room was clean, maintenance staff were friendly and communicable. Location was very convenient, there were a lot of cafe and restaurant. You can walk to Caltrain and Bus station, Safeway and Whole Foods.

Pesima Likes: No tenía aire AC estaba dañado y yo había separado un cuarto para 2 personas y me dieron un cuarto de 18 M2 que no cabíamos adicionalmente la TV tampoco funcionaba . Me tocó salirme. Para otro hotel me ofrecieron la devolución del dinero y a la fecha no han realizado la devolución Dislikes: No tenía AC No funcionaba la TV. Location was great which is why we chose the hotel. We walked to the Museum at the old Courthouse which was impressive, and there are good eating places nearby. Parking worked out fine for us - you have to be conscious of when the meters at the lot in back of the hotel need to be fed, and when the time begins for unrestricted/free parking as there can then be a backup of cars competing for spaces. The negative was a non-functioing air-conditioning sytem when the weather was hot. They provided fans for use in our room but that did not do away with the discomfort.

Arrived an hour early and was able to request early check in online which was great after a 9 hour drive. Lobby and room were very clean and modern with nice amenities.

Incredible value accommodation. Communication was clear throughout. Would recommend

Super comfortable As always a pleasant clean comfortable room. Best beds !

Had a wonderful stay at Kasa, check in was smooth and communication was great!

Dry clean and has everything you need away from home.

Likes: Excellent location, easy online check-in, clean facilities Dislikes: Ground level floor w window looking into an alley where people could see directly into my room (esp as a solo female traveler); couldn't pre-pay for parking, so had to get up every morning before the meter started and pay for 4 hours at a time (it's unlimited time allowed, but on the online payment app, you can only get 4 hours at a time)

The online check-in is smooth and the room is clean. But the space is very limited, much smaller than I expected.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kasa! Since I lived here for 32 nights, I got free laundry access as and when required, along with complimentary weekly cleaning. We did face a technical snag with the HVAC but it was addressed and resolved promptly by the host. Another pro was the location. Kasa is located right in the heart of downtown Redwood City making it a super-happening place to be! I never at the same restaurant twice during my time here. All said, would totally recommend the micro-pods for solo travellers. (two people might be a tight fit; explore the bigger rooms they have to offer in that case).

Excellent choice to spend the night for a short stay. Quiet and clean with everything you need for a night away from home.

This is the perfect hotel for me. It has everything I need and nothing I don't need for a hotel. Likes: The online check-in they offer is the future of hotels. It's clean and cozy, the location is quite convenient, and the price is competitive because of the efficiency. A free early check-in option is available though it's not guaranteed. If you're a long stayer and request it, you'll be allowed to use their laundry room. The staffs were very kind and helpful, and seemed to really care about guests. Dislikes: The building feels a little bit soft and thin, so noises from neighboring rooms might sound loud, which I personally don't care about so much though.

Clean room, chic design, efficient use of space. Staff was helpful. Highly recommend. One minor issue is that Parking isn’t on the property so you need to make your own plans if you have a car.

This was a great stay. It's not your typical hotel. It's set up to be self service. This was great while I was visiting family at a nearby hospital. My favorite thing was that the keypad not only unlocked the front door but also opened it in case your hands were full. The room has everything you need even a plunger so you don't have to call to call anyone. They even stocked ear plugs and an eye mask. A couple bottles of water too. The rooms are compact but private unlike Aloft and other hotels whose bathrooms are open to the whole room. Basically it's a very clean and nice enough room if your mostly just sleeping there with lots of community spaces if you want to hang out. Just a clever idea overall.

Facility was nice and well located. We arrived to AC unit that was not working and when we inquired well after our check in we were told by staff that they were aware and it would be fixed on Monday, this was a Thursday. Would have been helpful to know earlier as it was very hot and we did have to leave. Kasa gave us a full refund right away, no issues with that.

The room was easy access, and extremely clean. The room was small, but convenient.

Everything was good:easy check in and out. Although it's small, it is comfortable, private and convenient I enjoy my stay :)

One of the worst experiences I've ever had on this platform. These people are grifters. They lied about the size of the room and what kind of room I'd be getting. They listed A/C as an amenity. The A/C was broke, in the middle of a heat advisory, and they didn't notify guests beforehand. They keep letting guests book. When I got to the room, a small $30 8" diameter of a fan was blowing warm air around. There was no ventilation. It was the worst experience. It felt like I was sleeping in a sauna the size of a shoe box.

Bed bugs! During my stay, I found what appeared to be a bed bug in my room and woke up with multiple bikes. I immediately reported the issue to hotel management and provided photographs of both the insect and bites. Management informed me that they contacted an exterminator, who reportedly found no evidence of bed bugs; so despite providing photographic evidence, my concerns were dismissed.

parking

Even when the AC isn't broken for weeks during a heat advisory, the service is nonexistent. The text line often doesn't respond at all and you can't call them. Other reviewers mention partial refunds, I can't even get them to respond. Scam

Scam Even when the AC isn't broken for weeks during a heat wave, the service is nonexistent. The text line usually does not respond at all and you can't call them. No staff on site. Other reviewers mention partial refunds, I can't even get them to respond. Scam

The air conditioning broke on the hottest day of the year and I was only notified 20 min before arriving - so could not make alternative accommodations. Stayed up most of the night sweating as a result, and was only given a partial refund.

This is by far the worst experience I've had at a hotel. Let's start with the fraudulent listing. It was advertised as a 'full room.' What I got was a pod sized room at 100 sq. ft. Support tried arguing with me saying different places have different measurements for pods. Riiiight. It's the same room and layout they advertised their pod rooms as. Total scam. Worse than that, the room advertised had A/C listed as an amenity. When I checked in to my room, there was the tiniest fan blowing hot air around the room. The A/C was broke. They knew it was broke and still accepted the reservation. They have excuse after excuse for why it isn't fixed and why the don't have better and larger fans for guests in this type of situation. They refuse to acknowledge that this has become a warrant of habitability. They refused a full refund which is what I am demanding at this point. They tried to get Airbnb to put me up in another hotel but those listings were subpar and in cities I've never been to before and inaccessible to train stations. We are in the midst of a heat advisory and these people don't care. The Bay Area and the world is only getting hotter and places like Kasa choose the cheapest route possible to give their guests the worst experience. I feel like a sucker giving them $1300 for a five day stay in a micro pod of a room with no A/C and the worst customer service I have ever received. Whatever you do, do not ever stay at this Kasa or any other one. I promise you will feel duped. What's worse is I have few options and will have to spend even more money if I want to explore what those options would be costing me even more money during a period of high inflation. Go somewhere where the maintenance people know what they're doing and where the staff cares. Kasa ain't it.

Great for young and able bodied patrons not for anyone with physical disabilities Likes: Great location very clean Dislikes: Not good for disabled guests. AC wasn’t working. Parking is difficult and not always available

Broken AC. Management promises they’ll fix it but they didn’t during my stay. Enjoy sleeping in 85 degree heat if you stay here.

Very convenient and well priced. Great location. Well maintained.

Location was great. The room was great. The only thing was the AC did not work the whole time I was there and it was very hot in that unit.

The place was clean and nice! Along with private bathroom and fridge in the unit, it had everything needed.

The location and setup of the hotel are excellent and a good value. Clean and new feeling. Communication with management by text was very responsive.

The a/c didn’t work. Contacted the troubleshooting email . Left a message and the reply back was the address of their location and website for Palo Alto. I paid through Hotels.com for extra nite and front end. Charged for it and was never send a code to get in. To hard to navigate this place without a manager onsite.

overall the best stay in the area

a bit noisy, but didnt mind

Exceptional location. I don’t think I would have enjoyed Redwood and the bay area had it not been for this place. Parking is not a problem. There is a parking lot behind the building.

Short and pleasant stay Great experience. All communication done by email or text which was convenient. Prefect low maintenance travelers.

For us was the first time staying in a virtual hotel. Needed more explanation on room door usage. We struggled with that. Saw very little of staff, but our few encounters were very pleasant.

Great location, in the heart of downtown. Public parking only and it is hard to find parking in the back public parking lot. Clean room. Only issue is that they don’t provide their own cable channels and local channels. You have to add your own subscription or cast from your phone or device which is an inconvenience for me. I feel cable should be included in it’s the room like WiFi. A lot of these hotel services are getting away from normal or traditional amenities (cable, coffee makers, extra pillows, etc) while room and hotel prices go up and amenities for customers go down. 5/10 for my personal preference.

Clean and well beautifully designed! Ideal location.

Did Not expect it to be so compact definitely Thought this was a house not hotel

There is no staff, only virtual, which took some getting used to. The room was extremely efficient . My only complaint was the sound proofing between rooms, I could hear people next door talking and their television. Conversations in rooms were audible in the hallway.

The stay was great. The location is amazing! You’re surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. Neighborhood is friendly. I would stay at this hotel again but I would book a bigger room next time. Host was super helpful and responsive.

place is very clean and location is near to everything! will def consider staying here again.

Loved staying here!

So glad to have found a place that exceeded my needs and expectations!! Amazing experience!!

Rooms are good. Location is perfect. All the eateries are near by. Jagriti was a super host. I will recommend this stay.

Acomodação perfeita e muito bem localizada Likes: Café de graça, água a vontade, microondas, frigobar. Quarto amplo. Cama muito boa Dislikes: Não tem estacionamento no local
