Likes: Everything was nice, except housekeeping. They did not replace my towels for two consecutive days. When I got to the hotel, there were no towels to have a bath. I always had to request at the reception

Nice hotel and the interior is great too. Definitely spacious given nyc price. Check in process was a little nerve wrecking because there is almost no space for a car to park outside you need to park partially by the curb. But the thing is I saw a car got ticketed for doing so hence I was wary about doing the same. I had no choice though because I had luggages. The other option to park elsewhere and drag my luggages across streets was not feasible and considered at all. They provided umbrellas in the case of rain.

A great stay in NYC— Mint House provided a clean, spacious, and ideally located place for our stay! The front desk staff is friendly and attentive. Most major subway lines are a few blocks away. In a city where most rooms are very small, Mint House is an excellent choice to enjoy NYC!

We stayed as a family of four for a week. Having stayed in a few places in New York before this felt very spacious. Well decorated and furnished. We had one kid in their own bedroom and one on living room sofa bed. Lovely staff who were helpful throughout. Excellent gym, good on site food market, lovely healthy food options at Blue Kitchen and also the downstairs diner was decent. Great location off Wall st and close walk to subway and battery park. Would definitely recommend, but take earplugs, ithe rooms are near street level, so traffic and construction noise and the aircon is loud. Oh, and the 63rd floor adults only bar is lovely, if pricey. Worth it for the view.

We have been before and still excellent, staff very helpful and friendl.

It was my first time staying here. And I chose it because it was less expensive than other hotel options. I lived in New York for more than 25 years and know how small some rooms can be. This room was huge! Just the closet was bigger than some NYC bedrooms. The room was very quiet despite there being many people on the site and hanging around outside. It was comfortable and pretty. I forgot my toothbrush and when I asked, a toothbrush kit was delivered to my room. Everyone at the desk was helpful and friendly. I got a late checkout and easily checked my bag with them until I needed to leave for the airport. The only thing that I didn’t like was the code that I was given to use the elevator and for room entry. They don’t use keycards. In the dim lighting it was hard to correctly key in the code. But, that is a small detail. I would definitely stay again!

We’d definitely go back again. Likes: All the staff were very friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. Dislikes: There was a noisy neighbor that was a little annoying.

They lost my package and they keep forgetting to renew the towels. Very frustrating, we will not come back.

Positives: Beautiful, spacious upgraded studio room perfect for families. Exceptionally comfortable bed/mattress. Helpful staff and clean facilities. Great for toddlers with plenty of space to move around. Negatives: Poor signage makes entrance hard to find. False fire alarm at 2am with no communication from staff - very concerning with a child. Nightly vehicle beeping noise (I think from garbage truck but unsure) from 1-2am daily on street-side rooms. Hotel phone/text numbers don't work reliably. One-way street location causes taxi issues if you have a lot of luggage. Housekeeping come daily but don't seem to vacuum the floors - can be annoying if you have baby/toddler/young children. Bottom line: Lovely room and comfort, but communication issues and noise problems affected our stay. Would recommend requesting courtyard-side rooms, if possible.

It was great for one night with a few friends! Likes: I liked the quietness of the neighborhood and the size of the room! It was like an actual apartment, and much larger than most studios in NYC. Dislikes: I thought the bathroom could use more counter space! Also, extra towels, no matter the number of guests, and a few beauty products would be nice too.

Amazing team and service at Mint House. The 6 of us (including 4 children from 9-16) were very comfortable. The extra bathroom was a bonus I didn’t realize or notice at booking. Very friendly and prompt team made the stay 5 stars. I look forward to the next opportunity to stay at Mint House!

The only problem was the fire alarm went off, firefighters came and left but no staff came out to talk to us or to tell the guest it’s safe to come back in. The staff sent 2 guys up with no badges and /or no phone call from staff that they were sending them up to do internet work in my room (although the room had internet), the lack of communication is a problem, of course they didn’t get in and I had a conversation with the staff. I must say the rooms are spacious and the website pictures are truly accurate. Easy walk to the piers, dining, local shops and stores and the exchange and 911 memorial.

Dislikes: Nous sommes étonnés de retrouver l'appartement avec les lumières allumées et la climatisation en marche dès notre retour en fin de journée alors que nous avions tout éteint pour la journée. De même, le lave vaisselle est mis en route alors qu'il n'est pas rempli. Ce n'est pas très écologique!
