We enjoyed our stay at Mint House. Great communication and awesome location. Walking distance to many of the main attractions in downtown St. Pete. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved this place so much. The room was perfect and it had everything we needed. We felt right at home and will book again here.

Comfortable for a Long Stay The place is beautiful, clean and in the middle of St. Pete downtown action, everything within walking distance. Wifi did not work in the room, only in the lounge area.

Very centric, you can walk to different restaurants and bars. I wish they had parking you have to park on the street and risk getting parking ticket

Worst service by a young girl and a guy. 1.5 hrs wait after check in. No parking. Dirty floors in my room.

Needs cleaned Apartment was very nice, kitchen was well stocked. Not able to get local TV channels at all. We were there during Hurricane Helene and being able to get local weather reports, road closures, etc. would have been very helpful. For the amount they charge per night, you would think local cable is not too much to ask for. Also, the floors were so dirty, my feet were black from walking on it barefooted. Floors need mopped so bad. There is absolutely no parking there, only on the street. Spots are hard to find and you can only park for 2 hours until after 6pm, at which point you can stay all night. There are lots of restaurants in walking distance.

Amazing place to stay in st pete. So clean, new, perfect area, and the staff is incredible. 11/10

Horrendous Experience I have never been more disappointed in an establishment than I am in Mint House. My mother and several other seniors evacuated from their facility stayed there. Because Hurricane Helene devastated the area, the county extended the evacuation for at least another day. Accordingly, I spoke to the front desk and was told while the room that she was staying in may not be available another room would be made available and that I would receive a call later that morning to confirm. My mother and others amongst the evacuees are non ambulatory and although she would be giving up an ADA room I thought that the arrangement was reasonable. When I didn’t receive a call back I followed up and was told that not only would she not be able to stay in the ADA room but there were no other rooms and she would have to leave in less than a half hour. I understand the demands on the staff’s time but I was astonished by the callousness of the response. I had briefly thought about calling a local news station to cover the story (and still might) but I now had to find her another room in a city devastated by the storm, and I had 20 minutes to do so. I’ve told my story to everyone I know, so bad word of mouth will do for now. I assume that the same person who was so nice to me at 8:00am became so callous at 10:30am due to poor training, leadership and a horrendous corporate culture. Mint House has established itself and its brand as the company that tosses disabled elderly people to the curb with little care or warning. I doubt this will be read by a human or responded to with self examination. If you would like me to share my comments on TripAdvisor, I would be more than happy to.

Parking is horrible but other than than the place is great

Likes: A glitch to start but the staff on hand made the effort to fix the problem.

Likes: Location was great. While not in the heart of the downtown, it was close enough to walk to everything within a mile. The value that we got was a great discount, but i don't think we would come back at next year's prices. It felt like they dropped the price a lot due to the annoying renovations going on. We also like the apartment style unit. I wish more places were like this. The unit was clean and seemingly new. Dislikes: We were not told of the renovations. The constant drilling that lasted from around 8 am to 5 pm daily was obnoxious. We also had to change rooms during our trip due to the workers moving to work on the column of balconies that we were staying in. The whole pool was shut down one of the days during our trip. Having the workers there while trying to relax ruined any sense of relaxation that could be had. And the pool being street level further took away from its ambiance. We tried to be out of the unit as much as possible due to this. As for the room, the ice machines in both room's fridges did not work, so we had to purchase ice from the liquor store a couple of times during our stay, and the beds were not very comfortable. We stayed at this unit due to the apartment style living and the price when booking, but at its going price for next year, we have already decided on other accommodations very close by.

Downtown living -great location My second stay previously May. Great location & friendly staff. Apartment offers great facilities. My only gripe bed mattress was uncomfortable!

Perfect Spot We traveled up to St. Pete from Osprey (Sarasota County) for the last two Ray's games. Within a short walk to Tropicana Field. My husband found Mint House online and we booked it. Not disappointed at all. Warm, friendly welcome. The apartment was so cool. Spotless, roomy and the bed so comfortable. We booked a 1st floor poolside apartment. Will definitely book here again on our next visit to St. Pete. Reasonable rate too.

We don’t have any complaints about this place. We were most concerned about parking and opted to valet for $35 with the hotel. The location is perfect and close to several restaurants and bars. We felt safe and the room was clean and comfortable. The bed and linens felt like quality items and we had a good nights sleep.

The location was fantastic, and parking was a breeze. The front desk staff were friendly, and getting into the building was simple. The apartment was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the balcony was a nice bonus. However, the main downside was the bed – we checked in late and were looking forward to a good night's sleep, but unfortunately, the bed was so uncomfortable. This place would be 10/10 if not for the bed.

Stay was great! We loved the apt/hotel concept! Location was great! Lots to do! Parking was an inconvenience as there is none on site just two hour street parking surrounding the building but they provide paid options for parking near by or you can pay the $35 for valet. Room was mostly clean besides a hair in the shower and the bed itself wasn’t super comfy but it was sleep able . Also pillows were flat in our unit #509. Pool was clean and felt great. They offer complimentary toiletries if you happen to forget your toothbrush or something of that nature which was very helpful!! Overall great stay! Highly recommend!

Fun property This is a gorgeous property with a wonderful location! It is near plenty of bars and restaurants, street parking is free between 6pm and 10am, and the rooms are accessible with a keypad code. The bed is a smaller queen, yet cozy. There is a small stacked washer dryer, some complimentary coffee, snacks, and boxed water as well as a huge fridge, a full stove and dishwasher, a microwave, and a small shower. The television has apps pre downloaded on it, and the pool and outdoor area are clean and well maintained. It’s ideal for a home away from home. I love that they have quiet hours from 9pm til 9am, so nobody had to worry about a loud party crowd at all hours.
