10/10 Exceptional
Brand new and well designed - I stayed for 5 nights (work&leisure) in their corner studio apartment overlooking the downtown (part of the Edge district) . The staff was very approachable, kind and helpful throughout my stay especially with my car rental & they have valet parking.
I loved having a kitchen (stovetop, dishwasher & full refrigerator!I got groceries at a nearby Publix but you can also order ahead online and they will stock), balcony and washer & dryer in the unit. I made breakfast most days but the restaurant life beckoned so was out nearby every night. The thoughtful design is very comfortable and felt like home with good pillows, plenty of drawers and closet space for me to unpack for the week. The bathroom was huge with a walk-in shower and great products/blow-dryer so I didn't need to bring any. Didn't get to use the pool this trip but will next time.
The location is very walkable to coffee shops, dining (would go back to Hawkers for asian food, Coba for Argentinian, Italy Bottega ), evening entertainment. If you're a Tampa Rays fan, it's an easy walk to the stadium. The SunRunner is a bus system about one block away from Mint House that runs every 15 min until evening and gets you to St Pete beach which has public restrooms & showers so this made for an easy Saturday trip. I found out you can take another trolley from the St Pete beach to one of the other many beaches if you wanted to explore further. In the afternoon I drove to the Dali Museum - it's small but very pretty display and location and took less than 2hrs to see all the artwork, its also in the Bay area so walkable to bayfront restaurants and night life.
In short, lots to explore from this location and I'll stay here again in a heartbeat!
