My boyfriend and I go here every vacation we have due to the fact you can walk everywhere and it’s in the center of down Likes: It’s so convenient for going to the rays game, so many bars and restaurants around. Very walking friendly! Dislikes: There’s nothing not to like. They accommodate parking for only $35 a day and can hold our luggage even after we check out.

Went with friends to see a ball game and my friend had booked a room at the Mint House in St Petersburg. I had not planned to stay with them originally, but changed my mind at the last minute. We assumed we would be able to stay in the same room. Usually there are rollout beds in cases such as people having children. The young man working at the front desk was very nice. Unfortunately he told us they did not have these roll out beds and they only had rooms with queen beds. So I would have to get my own room, which I did. The rates were reasonable which made it workable since I had not planned to get my own room. I'm still surprised that they didn't have pull out beds since people with children would want that. It seems like they would lose business because of it. The rooms were nice. They were exactly what I like. No carpets on the floor and basic but full of the things you need. There was a full size refrigerator in the room along with all the other necessities. There was a balcony with furniture and a very nice view of the stadium from my room which was on the fourth floor. They also had complimentary green popcorn and two bottles of water. The room was very clean and neat. I guess parking would be easy if you use their valet and pay extra. I didn't do that and I found St Pete somewhat difficult to navigate when I was looking for a lot to park in. I'm sure if you had been there before it would probably be easy but this was our first time. It looks like you can bring pets to your room with a $100 charge which I wasn't sure exactly how that worked. We didn't have pets with us so I never checked that out. The hallways of the building were very basic which was something I appreciated about the Mint. They had a very nice swimming pool which I'd never had time to use. The hotel was located very close to the stadium. Walking distance. Overall I did like the Mint very much. Bring some food with you because the restaurants around the area don't seem to be open at the times when we got up in the morning or wanted to eat later than usual.

Loved everything about it

Parking is a total pain if there’s a baseball game, the room was nice, but the bathroom was dirty, and had hair clippings in the shower. Water pressure is much to be desired, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable.

Great place in a great location. Likes: This was lovely, very clean, and looked like a brand new apartment. It is not a hotel or Bnb as they do not provide a continental breakfast or daily maid service, however there is someone working in their lobby office and valets are there to park and retrieve your car. The kitchen is fully equipped, and laundry appliances are right in the room. Coffee packets that lasted us 4 days were supplied along with packs of sugar and cream in canisters along with dishwasher and laundry pellets. Publix grocery is just about a 10 min walk and there were many coffee shops, restaurants and bars all steps away. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We stayed 6 nights and the bed was comfy-not too soft not too firm and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony although we did not use the pool. We would pick this place again! Dislikes: The thermostat was a little tricky but we dd get it figured out.

Brilliant classy apartments. Likes: Location was excellent. There were assorted diverse bars and restaurants located along the road nearby. Quite a bohemian and arty feel. Great for the marina and pier area. Easy parking and drive is a straight line from apartments. Super museums. We chose to Valet park so no problems parking and walking to apartment. We just parked in front and staff parked it for us! The apartment had everything you need for a city stay including dishwasher, fridge freezer, balcony, air con etc. We were amazed at the value and location of these super roomy apartments. All staff were friendly, professional and polite. Beautiful city. Dislikes: Absolutely nothing!

Honestly this had to be one of my favorite places I’ve stayed. The place was clean. A little modern apartment right down town. The only thing I would change would make the water temperature a little hotter. I like hot showers. But overall I can’t wait to stay there again.

Close to Tropicana Stadium, friendly staff Likes: Friendly, amenities, clean Dislikes: The locking mechanism was not working properly. The sink wasn’t draining but it was fixed immediately. The lack of towel racks!

Great location in downtown St Pete - clean and new with apartment style amenities. Likes: Fantastic location, lots of walkable options for food & drink, one block off of the main drag so it's still pretty quiet and had no issues with noise overall. The building is brand new, clean, and well maintained. While on a longer trip I love being able to do laundry in the unit, and prepare meals or leftovers; having access to a real kitchen can counteract some of the extra cost vs going out for every meal. Dislikes: I think you could get away with not having a car, but it would be more difficult to see the area and get to the beach. I found the parking instructions sent by the hotel to be very confusing; I went to one of the addresses suggested by the hotel and it was not a parking lot, additionally, some of the public lots don't allow overnight parking. Eventually I found the ParkMobile app and just street parked on nearby residential street; the city rates are decent and much better than private lots or valet. Overall I think the hotel was a bit expensive for a self-service style stay, but there are currently few other mid-tier modern hotel options in the area.

No privacy and noisy due to construction across the street.

I had a great time and even extended my stay! :) Likes: The location was great, and the view from the balcony during sunset is beautiful and relaxing. The staff was very helpful, and the amenities provided our top-notch. There are a ton of good restaurants and fun bars in the area as well. Dislikes: Parking can be a bit difficult and was a bit sparse. However, with a little walking in effort, that’s really not a big deal at all.

Excellent accommodations aside from parking. Neighborhood so-so. Likes: Excellent rooms, everything clean, well designed, Excellent staff. Dislikes: No parking! The parking situation should be made clear on the sites advertising. Valet parking is an extra $35 per day and was NOT available since full! We had to either walk several blocks for paid parking or risk being towed parking on nearby street. Neighborhood is so-so..

Great Anniversary Stay My wife and I stayed here for our Anniversary and had a fabulous time. The location is perfect, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the property was immaculate.

Two stars because there was no parking and no ice. I don’t expect much from hotels, get an ice machine for your guests, it’s Florida, typically hot, ice is good.

Adequate and clean. Very Plain. Very plain hotel. Looks like it used to be a condominium complex (or still is). Relatively convenient. Very close to the stadium. Rooms have full kitchen.

I would say it is great location, 7 mins from anything is St Pete. Rooms are great with whatever you need! Perfect service. The only 1 thing is sound insulation is not good and construction right next to this hotel, so be careful with that.

You should stay here! Likes: Everything was clean and the room was large with a kitchen. We also had a balcony so we could look out over the city. The checkin process was easy, and we valeted the car. The staff were friendly and professional. We will definitely stay here again! Dislikes: There was nothing we didn't like!

Likes: It was very clean! Dislikes: There was no hot water in the shower for 2 days in a row. Unfortunately, this would hinder me from staying there again.

Likes: It was clean Dislikes: The staff I spoke with were not very friendly or helpful. I was told you applied discounts for AARP or AAA and when I received my bill today, there was no discount honored. The price was very high, parking is horrible, no valet available. Overall, I was very disappointed. I travel often and am not hard to please, I did not have a good experience.

We did not even stay !! There was no parking . I was told I had to park four blocks away. I could not do .It was a awful experience !!

Central, lively, comfortable, clean, great! Likes: Awesome balcony overlooking nearby nightlife. Great space with functional kitchen. Comfy, sunny atmosphere. Dislikes: There isn't a couch or lounge chair in the room, would be a nice thing to have. The construction next door is very loud, it'll be a huge improvement when it's over. The pool was heated one day and cold the next, so would be good to have consistency there.

Paper thin walls and a loose dog policy makes this place a glorified dog pound. ZERO sleep. Otherwise, the rooms are spacious and clean; the location is central; and the staff are nice.

Wow! Talk about a hidden gem! I was absolutely NOT expecting this hotel to be this adorably perfect. This place is perfect! All the reviews I read are spot on, so I'll try not to reiterate and instead share things that I was initially worried about but didn't find reviews on. For starters, there is a front desk person. I was thinking it was going to be a motel type of situation, but someone is manning the lobby. There is valet parking, BUT make a reservation for it. If you screw that up, like I did, you can do street parking after 9pm and no one will ticket you. The hotel had water bottles and plenty of towels. This hotel is by everything. You can walk to everything and it's in the perfect spot. I will 1 billion percent be coming back. I am 99% a Marriott girl and rarely break booking there, but for this place I will.

Mint House was an excellent hotel with amenities that I would enjoy in every hotel (washer and dryer, good storage). I would recommend this hotel to anyone, any time.

Very nice. Staff was helpful and friendly. Parking was a problem and valet parking was off site so that was inconvenient. The room was excellent!

Check in process was easy. Location was perfect, we were in town from Detroit and we caught a Rays vs Tigers game.. were able to walk, and also walked to several bars and restaurants during our stay. Room was so cute and the pool was beautiful too

Likes: I loved loved loved the hotel, however, there was zero parking. I was told the valet parking was unavailable even though the spots were empty. We were directed to parking lots about 10 walking minutes away from the hotel. We ended up parking in a garage and had to take an Uber back to the hotel. This experience caused us a lot of stress and loss of about 2 hours of an already short trip. If you as a hotel do not have any parking, that needs to be announced very very very clearly. Dislikes: I loved loved loved the hotel, however, there was zero parking. I was told the valet parking was unavailable even though the spots were empty.
