Probably one of the worst hotel stays of my life at that price range.
I'm 45 years old and I've been to over a dozen countries and probably double that number in states and have stayed in hotels all over the planet.
Rooms are clean and modern and the washer and drier are a god send. But I go to take a shower in the morning before a very busy and packed day and there's no hot water.
I complain to front desk and the young lady named India was so gracious in the face of my tantrum, but she was unable to dispatch maintenance in a timely manner to fix the issue because they were "too busy", so I went on with my day without a shower because I figured I'd just shower before my evening plans.
I get a text saying the shower was fixed. When I return in the afternoon I test the shower, and yes, it was fixed.
So I grab something to eat and kill some time before trying to shower again before my evening plans.
I get in the shower and and the water is perfect. Go to lather up but guess what? The shower gel dispenser is COMPLETELY EMPTY. Let's just use shampoo since we're in a time crunch and if it's good enough to wash your scalp, it should be sufficient to wash your body, right? Wrong. Because the friggin shampoo dispenser is friggin empty too.
I'm talking not a single drop left in either.
Bone dry.
Do you understand the kind of gross negligence it takes for this many things to be wrong with a room?
I don't even blame housekeeping for this. I blame management. Who ever is in charge of managing this hotel needs to be fired and replaced with someone who actually cares about their job or has actual experience running a hotel.
This has literally never happened to me in any hotel. Imagine charging people $300 a night and then failing to provide the kind of service that you get at a Super 8 Motel.
If I could give my experience zero stars, I would.
Absolutely never staying there again, and if you're reading this, do yourself a favor and stay at a proper hotel instead of trying to save a couple of bucks like I did.
EDIT: instead of a genuine apology, management comes here and gaslights me first by claiming I was offered another room to shower in "immediately" when in reality I was already half way across town at my first meeting when I received that call, 20 minutes later. And then they do not even address the other half of my complaint regarding the empty soap AND shampoo dispensers. I don't understand how they're not embarrassed by this kind of response when I'm embarrassed for them.
