Amazing night at Mint House DC i had a quick overnight stay at Mint House DC while in town for a Nutcracker performance at Warner Theatre. Due to a change in travel plans I arrived way early and was nervous about that. When I arrived, there was no hesitation and “Stephan” got me a room right away. It must've been a changing of shifts because another concierge was present and both were extremely welcoming, and assured me I would like my accommodations. When i got to my room i was surprised that it was upgraded to a suite facing the street and had plenty windows which I love as a natural light junkie! The space was cool and contemporary with a boutique vibe. Felt like my own little apartment. I wanted to go for a run before getting comfortable and on my way out the concierge Sardia asked me how I liked my suite and wished me luck on my run. She said “ Run for me too” lol. The hospitality is definitely conversational and I love that personality is allowed to shine through when the concierges engage you. I am a sucker for that type of interaction as traveling at times can feel lonely. i love love loved my room and everything felt new and placed with intention. The BED..OMG.. literally the most comfortable bed ive slept in! Love the rain shower too. As someone who is obsessed with the holidays, one of my fav parts of this stay was how beautiful the holiday decor was. Not only was is warm a beautiful, the lobby and lower lounge by the fitness center smelled just like Christmas.. i absolutely loved the effort and it literally made me smile. Lastly, i accidentally deactivated my key 3x (likely putting to close to my credit cards) and each time it was no problem getting new ones. Dope location near several coffee spots, walking distance to fancy shops, and a holiday village was near by. Stay here if you love personal touch, engaging staff, and comfortable-luxury.

Better than I imagined, would definitely stay there again Likes: Very comfortable bed. Great shower and adequate kitchen facilities. Lots of space. Looked exactly like the photos. Percy location, close to Metro and White House Dislikes: The windows looked towards an inner space and other apartments, so you could see into other people’s rooms. Seemed a bit strange. There wasn’t a kettle so had to boil water for tea in the microwave.

Bit a Lemon? Likes: AUDREY and RON were excellent front desk staff! The actual place is nice: newly remodeled, gym, lounge area. Rooms were good size, location was great, washer and dryer were perfect. Nicely decored. Dislikes: SARDIA' was awful. It's like she bit a lemon every time she engaged with us. We would brace ourselves when we got back to Mint House, hoping it wouldn't be SARDIA'. Made an otherwise pretty good stay, less than desirable. Dishwasher didn't work? Uber pick-ups/drop-offs were always across the street. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable.

Everything nice and clean, comfy bed. Staff is super nice — thank you Sardia for checking me in and making me feel so welcome!

Would def stay again Likes: We loved it all really. So clean and comfortable. Staff were great. Dislikes: We experienced a lack of pressure in showers. Was the only downer.

Excellent choice for an apartment stay close to the White House Likes: Great location on K-street about 5 minutes away from the White House. Loved the modern interior design and layout of the apartment, which used to be an office building. Excellent for long stay vacation. Friendly and helpful staff at the 24h reception.

Nice location

Very nice room, immaculate, all was presented or better. I called the number for Mint House on the website to find out what the nearest metro station is and got put through to a call center, did not sound like it was in the US, worker was definitely not a native English speaker, and dealt with a pedantic, scripted, who made me identify myself twice and put me on hold twice. And the when you are on hold an incredible annoying sequence of tones are produced. Eventually she had to call the location. Took over ten minutes for what should have been a 30 second call to a front desk.

Excellent room, very spacious and comfortable. Big, big bathroom with a nice shower, all very clean. Excellent location and great value.

Spacious, comfortable DC accommodations at a great value! Likes: So much space! Felt like home away from home. Very clean and comfortable. Convenient location to sights and airport. Great value for the money. Dislikes: Room facing garbage dumpsters despite reservation for “street view” room, early morning garbage pickup every day. Do not recommend ROOM 206 view. Minimal interaction from staff. Downtown location has mostly chain restaurants not many small local restaurants or bars-little character.

Excellent location with great comfort and value Likes: excellent value for the money, far better than a hotel for anyone staying with a family Dislikes: it's downtown so ambulance/police sirens are a bit annoying.

Everything about my my stay was exceptional, and I truly enjoyed my time with you Likes: Overall, I enjoyed my stay” / “appreciated the hospitality”. I especially liked the cleanliness and comfort of the room , and relaxing environment. Dislikes: Parking fees was expensive and no breakfast was offered.

Likes: Good location. Dislikes: My apartment was located directly next to the elevator, so you could hear it constantly. In addition, the air conditioning is difficult to adjust and cannot be switched off. Besides the air conditioning, there is also a separate fresh air supply, with its outlet positioned directly above the pillow on one side of the bed, creating a constant draft. There is no option to switch off the fresh air supply either. Overall, these factors create a constant loud background noise in the apartment. Sleeping without earplugs is practically impossible - they are already provided next to the bed. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the apartment also leaves room for improvement.

Great location, great value, excellent set up. The real highlight is the staff: they are all warm, efficient, welcoming. Know this place is going to get super popular. Hope it keeps its charm.

This was definetly was my best option in DC Such a lovely hotel It all started with the front desk reception and Sardia who definetly made me feel welcome. She made me happy that I picked this hotel. The studio itself has all what I need. In room amenities are wonderful. Their coffe is amazing . I would recommend this hotel wants to be around everything and walk around. Location is perfect
