I highly recommend staying at the Mint House. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our suite came with a fully equipped kitchen which was so convenient. The suite was spacious, quiet, and super clean! Fantastic location! Close to many attractions.

Overall, Mint House is a great option for travelers looking for a spacious, well-located place in Washington, especially Likes: We had a pleasant stay at Mint House in Washington. The staff were friendly and very helpful, which made check-in and communication easy. The room was spacious, with a kitchen and dining area, and the bathroom was clean with a convenient shower booth. Having a washer and dryer in the room was a big plus, especially for our 3-night stay. The gym was nice, and the location was very convenient for exploring the city. Dislikes: On the downside, the kitchenware was a bit limited, the floor could have been cleaner, and there was no breakfast provided.

Très bonne chambre mais quelques défauts Likes: Grande chambre et bien confortable. Très bien située. Cuisine bien équipée. Pièce salon agréable. Dislikes: Il faisait extrêmement froid dans la salle de bain (aucun chauffage) et l'eau de la douche n'était pas très chaude. Dans le chambre, juste en face du lit au-dessus de la porte, il y avait une intense lumière bleue. Franchement très désagréable pour dormir avec ça et qui illuminait complètement la chambre.

Disappointing We booked a one bedroom suite and were apparently upgraded to a 'premium one bedroom suite' but we found the room very disappointing. The room was on the 5th level but surrounded by high buildings so the rooms were quite dark and not a pleasant space to be in. There were however plenty of positives. The hotel is new and so everything was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the room was very well equiped with a good supply of thick towels, toiletries, well stocked kitchen (cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery etc, dishwashing detergent). The washing machine and dryer were handy too. BUT apart from the dark room, there was insufficent space to unpack clothes, there was a garbage truck waking us at 5am every morning (our room was at the back of the building), and the air conditioner in the room had a noisy fan that came on frequently. When we questioned what could be done about this, the previously friendly receptionist, became grumpy and the only solution was for her to come to our room and turn off the air conditioning completely! So for 5 nights we stayed in a hotel room with no air conditioning and windows that don't open, and lacking in natural light. We tolerated it but it was disappointing and I wouldn't stay here again.

Strongly recommend ! Likes: Exceptionally clean and well equipped with amenities for a comfortable stay. Very nice design, privacy and quietness. Spacious and located close To the main sightseeings.

10 out of 10. Excellent location, full Kitchen, spotless. Would definitely stay here again. Very friendly staff & for an apartment/hotel vibe it’s probably the best we’ve stayed in. All Washington sights within walking distance. Georgetown is a 1.5 mile walk. Uber to/from airport around $20 each way.

Confortable - luxurious flat but dark and no possibility to open windows Likes: Friendly and professional staff, a good gym, high-quality furniture, a comfortable bed, and great coffee are provided. The one-bedroom flat was spacious, and I enjoyed working at a desk. The location in midtown was lovely, and it was easy to attend meetings just by walking. The flat was quiet. Dislikes: You cannot control the AC and will have to call reception everytime, mine was very noisy, which resulted in two bad nights of sleep out of 4. Windows cannot be opened at all, which can be claustrophobic and not great for the air, and it was dark in the whole flat: no views but on the other guests' windows. It was not advertised like this; the pictures of the room I took looked much brighter. Some smells were coming from the downstairs fast food restaurant albeit I was on the 5th floor. Because of this I will not come back sadly.

A wonderful new property with staff who exemplify customer service I was so pleased to find the 1-month, newly-opened Mint House when planning to attend a national conference at the DC Walter Washington DC Convention Center for 12,000. Thought I live in MD, I had early and late meetings and decided that being close by would minimize the fatigue of long hours though a wonderful annual professional public health event overall. I was pleased with the price point compared to the conference hotels, and booked solo as I had presentations and knew I'd be working til wee hours to review my speeches. The friendly and patient staff were so congenial and helpful in many way.: I especially want to applaud all staff and especially the front desk staff (Roncel, Stefan & Audrey--even printing my presentation at 10pm) and the engineer staff (Larry and Greg plus Armand helping with luggage and minor electrical challenges --eg, new safe quirks and microwave that were fixed rapidly) and the housekeepers whose names I did not know. The room design was so ingenious and well planned for the classic studio: a full kitchen so I brought groceries cooking breakfast daily saving time and cost, table and stools for eating, plenty of accessible shelving in the bathroom and a spacious shower, terrifically cozy bedding and towels plentiful, and a small sofa for relaxing and tv (Roku TV was a bit stubborn for cable news access), and a small desk (easier to work with laptop on the comfy bed with lots of pillows). Closet space is huge too! Wonderful access to coffee shops next door and around the corner and ubers easily accessible within 1-3 mins pickup early morning, day and evening! I appreciated all the support when on property and when I called main # prior with a few Qs. I highly recommend Mint House DC and if I need a local apt/hotel, I would definitely return!! Thanks to all for a great stay!

The place to stay in DC. Likes: I can’t think of one thing the place was missing, I could have lived there. The bed was comfortable, the black out blinds were nice to have, and I love having my a washer and dryer right in my room. I didn’t use much of the full kitchen but it looked like you could make thanksgiving dinner there. The location is so convenient and it was much less than anything else in the area. Dislikes: Can’t think of anything

Excellent facilities will definitely be back next year to visit. Likes: Spacious rooms, that are fully equipped for long and short stays. Great location, coffee shops, restaurants and metro close by. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Basement has a communal area and gym which are always clean and tidy. Sardia was amazing always helpful and went the extra mile. Dislikes: Nothing.

Likes: New modern apartments with separate bedroom. Equipped with everything you might need. Grocery stores, restaurants and main sightseeings are 10-20 minutes walk Dislikes: Might be noisy up to 3 am on the weekends if windows face the street.
