I was really ready to leave a much better review but I really can’t and it’s just fair to inform potential new customers. It’s IMPOSSIBLE to sleep in here! The walls are made of paper straws at best! I’m a heavy sleeper so even when I read a few reviews that mentioned the noise I wasn’t worried but this is beyond ridiculous. I can hear everything and I do mean everything! From people next door planning their day (regular voice volume), to their TV, to the people on the patio upstairs, to of course each and every moan until the very last one from others on another side of the wall. And I mean all of this happening at night, as I’m out during the day. I see management tends to blame the noise “on the proximity to the lively 6th street” but this is nonsense. My room is facing downtown, located on top of bars. Besides of course a busy Saturday night, there’s no noise coming from the street, it’s ALL due to the atrocious quality of the walls of this building. Writing this review at 3.30am on my last night here while I wanted to sleep as I have an early flight to catch but someone outside is loudly helping someone else that can’t, gosh once again, open their door. Of course not a care that they are surrounded by rooms where people might be trying to sleep. Every night a different set of noises. I just keep raising the volume of my TV to cover other noises in the hope I’ll fall asleep. And I live downtown in a major city, NEVER had these issues so don’t blame it on the street. All my thoughts to come back here as I liked the unit are gone. It’s definitely brand new, clean, roomy, well equipped (besides the lack of a table) and well located so yes I really wanted to leave a better review but the entire building is doomed with this major flaw as in the end, ehm, don’t you pay to sleep in this place? Leaving with a headache while on vacation. To note: I see another person literally leaving a similar review the middle of the night. This must say something. For some reason there was no table in my room, and WiFi would not work in the common areas where tables are located. The water pressure in my shower was very low, if you have a lot of long hair it will take you forever. The gym advertised at the moment of booking does not exist.

The room is great, clean, it’s shut the location. It’s 2am right now and the streets are blasting loud music, I literally couldn’t sleep, this si extremely frustrating…

Great stay

Great location and great “hotel”. There are so many open spots to sit on the property too! About a mile walk to the “1am exciting bars” but really they are everywhere. Only thing we would like to see different is a little More spunk in the rental. Add some art or even a mirror would be nice!

Water in shower is not hot, hard to get in, walls super thin and loud all around. Great location for things to do but not worth what the listing is.

Kasa stay Very nice hotel. Very affordable esp.ecially compared to Marriot ,which I stayed in the night before. Calm atmosphere, clean rooms. Like an upscale air b&b. The room itself was well equipped with everything someone needed to be comfortable. There was a concierge in the lobby when I came in or checked out. I really liked the free laundry available on the 2nd floor.Who has free laundry nowadays? Maybe if you stay with your parents,lol. A nice addition. The location was excellent, very close to downtown without being too close. I brought a bicycle with me,and fortunately there were so many great bike trails in the area that got me around the city to different attractions. If there was any complaints it would be the noise levels coming off of 6th Street and the bars/night clubs across every street , literally surrounding the building. The solution to this problem ? There was a white noise machine sitting on the night stand. Outstanding!

Our place was clean, good location for restaurant and places to go within walking distance. Very Loud with restaurants and bar music, and trash pick at very odd hours in the middle of the night. There was some old bags of food left by previous tenants. Comfortable and check in check out very smooth and easy.

Pretty nice space. Wish parking was included in my stay. We had to pay an additional 107 bucks just to park our vehicle.

The studio Haus felt very much like I lived in the neighborhood. The free laundry is an essential amenity when traveling- especially since I’d been traveling for over a week! To not have to pay to bring it somewhere was great. The room had the essentials I needed and the common areas are very helpful, clean and useful!

Great stay with my wife we loved the location and the friendly front desk staff.the neighborhood had a lot to offer like great restaurants and a lively nightlife atmosphere.will recommend to everyone.

It was very loud - I kind of knew but would have been nice with a heads up. Some of the towels had stains and the sheets were very wrinkled giving it a less than tidy look. There was also a heavy smell of cleaning products in a toxic way.

This accessible, clean unit thoroughly meet our needs while in Austin. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, as in sending me directly to a source for a toothbrush at midnight on a Saturday, and storing our luggage between checkout and our flight out. The unit is a good value, and spare but clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the communal kitchen, easily accessible shower, and comfy rooftop patio. Several great restaurants in walking distance. We’d stay here again.

Such a great place for such a good price! From booking to check in to check out the process was 10/10 effortless. Not only are you minutes from everything but get to really enjoy the culture East Austin has to offer with also being minutes from downtown. Will always recommend if I know someone heading to Austin! Also, loveee the asthetic of the rooms!

Great stay. Very clean and easy check in. The area is a bit noisy due to the bars on the street but if you stay during the week it dies down around 10p. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Austin.

I would definitely stay at another Kasa establishment again! Easy and convenient for any solo traveler!!

AMAZING AND AWESOME HOTEL It was super clean. I loved the entry code. Reminded me of an air bnb with a hotel feel. I would definitely stay again. I wish there was one in Houston! I’M JEALOUS!

Good place of stay

I've been to Austin many times, and this was my favorite AirBnb so far. The reception staff were friendly, it's in a fantastic location, and the room was clean and comfy. My only caveat for future guests is the bathtub is somewhat higher than the floor, so be careful getting out of the shower. It can be a bit slippery. Otherwise, a perfect stay. Thanks to the Kasa staff for helping make our visit so nice.

We’ll be back! We really like this place. It meets our needs for a home base near our family and with access to so many great spots to eat and drink. Friendly staff and nice amenities — and the minimalist style suits us. Comfortable beds, good shower, everything sparkling clean. All at a very good price for the area. We’ll be back!

The place was easy to find and access, and the front desk staff were very helpful. The place was clean and near a lot of food areas and bars. We had a really great stay. A couple of minor details to share: 1) there was small parking area for a fee, but we were able to easily park on the street for free a couple blocks away. 2) The hotel is located amongst many bars that are open until 3am, which is cool if you want to partake, but not so cool if you want to sleep early. Use your own discretion. 3) The rooms are equipped with a lovely kitchen, but not much in the way of dishes or cookware, so we couldn't really use much outside of the fridge and microwave. Good news is that there are restaurants galore, so the risk of starving is low.

Really enjoyed my stay, felt right at home instantly. With 6th street just there I could access the main strip extremely easily and used it to find my way around the city very easily. The accomodation wasn't too far from anything else I wanted to do in the city and an easy 20 min drive to the airport which made it nice to get to and from.

Its a very nice location to stay and the apartment offers what you need. There are small tweaks that if addressed would make a HUGE difference but for the price and the space its an excellent place.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this hotel. It seemed a little too go to be true for the price. But I was incredibly happy with my experience. The location is perfect! Right on 6th street but not so close the rowdier bars. Very cute and more relaxed coffee shops and restaurants are around it. The inside of the space was exactly what we needed. This space would work really well for longer stays, it had plenty of room for us and it was nice to have a kitchenette.

Cozy, good vibes, cool staff The Studio Haus was perfect for us! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Our room had a stove, fridge, and dishwasher, which was perfect for our 10 day stay. We enjoyed the gentle city vibes - not in the "heart" of everything, but still lively and ambient. Would definitely stay again! <33
