The gym, which was advertised on the website before payment, wasn’t actually operational, in fact, there was no gym at all (just a tiny and empty room). We got a $50 refund out of the $800+ total, which is kind of funny, I guess, because the whole reason I chose this Kasa in the first place was that the price included an on-site gym. The apartment itself faced a pub and was right above its backyard, where concerts were held, so it was so noisy we ended up moving our mattress to the entryway just to get some sleep. Parking was also ridiculously expensive at $50 per night. Other than that, it’s a clean and centrally located place to stay. Very tiny though.

I did a one night stay with Kasa. Check in easy. Parking is EXTREMELY tight/compact cars only. The location was perfect with several bars and restaurants surrounding the area. Walkable. The room smelled like someone cooked food or something the whole time. My clean clothes smelled like that when I came home. Even sprayed the room and it was still very strong. It permeated everything. No microwave. No ice available. There was a stove top with no pans. Just a lid was in the drawer. Overall, it was a good stay. The location was really perfect. Just bring an air freshener with you?

We were so happy to find this apartment! It was very clean, spacious, and modern; the perfect place to relax because the bed was so comfortable. There are several restaurants and things to do in the area. The hosts were always attentive and friendly, as was the person at the lobby. It really is great value for money.

Great location for restaurants and bars. Was near people we were visiting so very walkable. Likes: No breakfast just coffee. But I like creamer and in Sustin there are way too many excellent coffee shops so we went that route Dislikes: A little noisy as we were next to a late night bar but that’s also a plus for some. Couldn’t open the shade as our room would be fully exposed, looked over another persons balcony and down into the Whisler bar ooutdoor open seating

For the money you can’t beat it. No frills place but rooms looked newly remodeled and clean. Check in/out process was very easy. Located in a fun part of town with a bunch of bars and restaurants within a few blocks. My only issue was the parking was under the building but not gated as I was told. It’s managed by a third party so it’s not their fault but the lot was oversold (or someone parked without paying when I arrived). To their credit the woman at the front desk gave me the employee spot when she left so the hotel staff were very helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay here the front area staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Parking can be a bit tricky but enjoyed my stay and have already rebooked to stay again.

Very clean and safe and hospitable area. Would come back again if there was another concert!

Tiny room, wouldn’t replenish clean towels or change the sheets with out a few, homeless people sleeping on the property

Great location for a stay in Austin. Several very good restaurants and breweries within very short walking distance. Very clean room with modern appeal.

Exactly what you need. Nothing over the top but does the job

We were very happy with our stay at Kasa! The rooms were a bit smaller than we expected, but perfect for the two of us. I’d recommend this location for couples or a small group of friends. The nightlife nearby is alive—with live music and bars just up the street. We especially loved the 6th-floor rooftop access, which gave us privacy and a great view of the Austin city skyline and the vibrant 6th Street scene. The staff was INCREDIBLY helpful and kind with everything. Each and everyone one of them stood out!

Great for a quick stay

Studio Haus is my new favorite hotel option when I head to Austin! It's clean, safe, has all the amenities I need, and the staff are helpful and friendly.

My stay was what I needed for a short trip to Austin. The room was clean, comfortable, and felt safe, which I really appreciated. As others have mentioned, East 6th is a lively area, especially in the evenings and on weekends; so if you’re sensitive to noise or planning a longer stay, that’s something to keep in mind. The space is newer, although I did notice a couple of construction wear-and-tear details I wouldn’t expect in a new building. Nothing that impacted my stay, but worth noting. Overall, it was a convenient and well-located spot for my visit.

Hotel was nice and clean. Most importantly, the employees were friendly-just like Texans!! Likes: Room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable for a hotel bed. Your coffee system was new to me, but was easy to use. TV selection was less than I was used to, but I lived. Dislikes: My particular bathroom was quite small. I prefer a larger one where I can keep my bathroom items around the sink.

Loved staying here and good location but be mindful if you’re a light sleeper that there’s noise bleed from the foot traffic on the weekends from the bars. Noise didn’t reduce until after the bars closed at 2am. Overall good location and was clean.

Good spot

Context: Formula 1 Weekend. Austin is crowded, hotels are double or more on prices. Our stay at Kasa, was great, no problems. Parking was additional, but we knew. There was loud music around, but it is 6th street, so it was expected. Super Friendly host at the location. I do not know normal prices out of F1 weekend. But for F1 weekend it was expensive. Nice breweries and bars at walking distance, Great. I will consider going back if the price is right

My five-day stay at Kasa in Austin was genuinely unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, everything felt effortless. The check-in, the warmth of the staff, and the sense that I was truly being looked after. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed to feel right at home. I want to highlight Mel, the host when I arrived and my go to person for anything I needed while I was there. She was absolutely exceptional. She’s easily one of the most professional, kind, and accommodating people I’ve ever met in the hospitality industry. No matter what I needed, she was already a step ahead with a thoughtful solution or suggestion. Every host I met at Kasa also carried that same friendly, welcoming energy, which made the whole experience even better. The location of Kasa was perfect. Being right on 6th Street put me in the middle of everything, with Whisler’s next door and so many great restaurants and bars just a short walk away, there was always something to do. Yet when I came back to my room, it was peaceful, quiet, and felt like I was in a comfortable but luxurious space. Traveling from New York to Texas I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this trip exceeded every hope I had. I’m genuinely grateful to Kasa and the entire team for creating such a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be back!!!

Great location, good space and hassle free experience checking in and out. Space had everything I needed, only thing that I could recommend Kasa to add to the rooms would be a full length mirror. 5/5 - would stay again.

Great stay! The location is extremely walkable and a lovely neighborhood with lots to eat, see, and do. The accommodations themselves were great, the only thing was the tub was not clean when we arrived as pieces of soap were stuck to the bottom from the previous guest, we wore shower shoes so not a problem. It wasn't gross just an oversight. I would note that our unit was directly above a bar with loud music, we're both from a downtown area and are used to the noise so it was no issue to us, but I think anyone that's a light sleeper or someone with a child may find that to be a problem. Overall 4.5 out of 5 star stay, if I came back to Austin, I would rebook.

really enjoyed the space! we stayed for a weekend and there was tons of food spots around that made it easy to walk to :) i was nervous about the bar next door but genuinely didn’t hear a peep from my room so it wasnt distracting at all!! my only complaint is the parking…i wish there was a better way to park in the hotel but we just used spot hero for the lot across the street for a cheaper price so not the end of the world! definitely would stay here again when i am visiting!

This is in the heart of nightlife for Austin but we didn’t hear any noise at all. Really convenient location. Front desk super helpful. Would stay again!

Dislikes: Its very lively and loud with all the bars next door. The walls/windows aren’t enough to dampen the sound at night. If you are a light sleeper or cant do earplugs this isn’t the right hotel for you. Sheets and bedding weren’t very nice but they were okay I guess for a budget hotel

Amazing location and best restaurants in town next door Amazing location! So many great restaurants within a few blocks, cafes for the perfect morning brew. I loved the walkability, didn't need a car the whole weekend. Easy bike ride or uber to UT for the football game. Check out Via 313 next door, that pizza is fire!

Amazing stay

Perfect location, East Austin is my favorite! Vibrant night life, restaurants and lots to do. There was a bit of noise in the apartment complex from people trying to get into their apartments late at night but nothing too bad. The studio apartment wasn't as clean as it could have been, but it had all we needed. The staff was super friendly and always available. Recommended.
