Cute little room above the streets of Portland Really nice small yet perfectly sized room for 2 ppl. Love the vibes. All essentials included. Beautiful shower & amenities. Record player with records included also (nice little touch). I passed out while watching tv after roaming the streets of Portland.

The Clyde is such a cute hotel! It’s in a great spot that is walking distance from most of the hustle and bustle of downtown. Clean and the interior design is cute! It’s obviously an old building that has its quirks, but they’ve brought out the rustic charm. Would totally stay here again. Thanks for having us!

Made me sick. Literally. Likes: Location Dislikes: I think this hotel has mold. I got incredibly sick when I stayed in the room. I literally could not breathe. There's also NO ventilation, which made sleeping impossible and unbearable. I had to sleep in my car. I KNOW it was the room because my symptoms were gone each time I left the hotel and came right back when I entered the room. - Also, no room service sucked. That's typically a bonus of staying at a hotel. Fresh sheets daily.

I’ve stayed here twice. The second time I had a view of a brick wall. I asked for a room change and was able to move to a room with a view the next evening. The staff is great and the checkin - checkout is automated and seamless. The location is great as well. Plenty of food and shopping within walkable distance. Easy train and bus access as well. Tourist information center is also right up the street. I would recommend this place, just make sure you request a room with a private bathroom, unless you want to use the community one in the hall.

needed a place for one night. New years. No on site parking and over night w as $26 but I feel that’s general for Portland. Parking was the only downfall and only because I have to use a crutch, but the parking garage wasn’t but 3 blocks away so it really wasn’t bad. Other than that it was great. OBSESSED WITH THE BATHTUB. Best bath in a long time

Downtown PDX. Room was spacious, nicely interior designed. Appeared as if the room hadn’t been rented in a while because some dust buildup on windows, shelves. Every section of the room was interesting, the way it was remodeled and retrofitted was nice. The lighting fixtures were great. The view from the windows was great. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean.

Thoughtfully designed and constructed, it was a relief to find a restful space with out the “design” trappings of modern hotel rooms. Easy to use virtual checkin and communication by text was all well done. Focus in the room itself were on the things that matter - Lots of outlets and comfortable beds and linens. Wish the TV had been adjustable and allowed access to platforms like Netflix and Prime. All in all a quality experience at a great price

the room was decent in size, very comfortable bed. my only complaint is with the layout -- the bathroom (a room for just the toilet) had a sliding barn-style door that did not seal for privacy, and the shower was right beside the bed, so there was no privacy there either. also, the amenities included breakfast served. when we arrived at the cafe room at 9am, the door was locked and had a do not disturb tag on it.

This place is dishonest in their online listings. It was advertised as having parking, however this is not true, once you book they recommend parking in a nearby garage. They don't mention that they have communal bathrooms until after you book, and while they advertise as pet friendly, they don't tell you until after you book that they only allow one animal at an extra $40 per night.
