Disappointing
Booked this hotel because it looked both trendy and reasonable nice. The 4 star rating seemed pretty reasonable, but I really wish I’d read some of the individual reviews. Clearly we were not the only people to have a disappointing experience here recently. I don’t know, maybe we just aren’t cool enough for this hotel.
If you enjoy tiny rooms with no decoration, blank walls and a single window that looks out on to a brick wall, you might like this place. If you enjoy your bed being on the floor and feeling like a pullout couch, this might be your cup of tea. If you’re into hearing the people upstairs stomping around, or other people talking in the halls at all hours of the night, this might be the place for you. If you don’t like any amenities in your room, and your electrical outlets to be in boxes outside the wall, run through industrial conduits, you’d probably like staying here.
The price is the same as many genuinely nice and comfortable hotels in the same area, but this hotel is entirely lacking. Admittedly, the staff were fairly friendly, but told us breakfast was available when it wasn’t.
Would I recommend staying here? Only to people I strongly dislike.
