Would stay again! Great room for an amazing price! Within walking distance to the French Quarter, Garden District and the Riverwalk. Virtual check in was easy and not having to deal with a room key was nice. Was a little nervous about the paid parking that was a short walk away as it was an unsecured lot, but it ended up being fine. My only complaint was the thermostat was setup on a programmed schedule and I couldn’t get it to adjust. Someone on site was supposed to come and take a look but never did. I did find a preset program that lowered the temp just enough but would have liked to been able to adjust as needed.

The rooms were cozy and clean. I recommend getting one with a balcony to experience the true New Orleans vibe. There is no breakfast option (but I don't eat breakfast) and I got stuck in the elevator (I got to use the help button, very cool, and I got out quickly, a total fluke) but other than that, it was a delightful old hotel with so much charm!

We had a very nice experience at Lafayette. Our room was clean & the toiletries provided in the bathroom were really nice. I have read some reviews regarding the lighting and personally I didn’t have an issue with the lighting. The bathroom was well lit and the room had wall sconces, a desk lamp and a floor lamp plus many windows. The balcony was cute. The person and the desk was so nice and very helpful! Would stay again.

The property is located in the city center business are, walking distance to restaurants and the French Quarter. The area is relatively quiet with local transportation, restaurants. My major complaint is the lack of affordable parking which cost $46 daily, and located two blocks from the hotel .the virtual check-in is efficient and I'd strongly suggest use of the pre check-in option prior to arrival.

Great stay Likes: Really good location, especially for Mardi Gras! It’s more like an AirBnB but overall a good stay. Has nice view of the parade if you have a room to the front. Dislikes: You can hear the other rooms and the corridor quite much, but it wasn’t too bad.

The lack of noise insulation made it easy to hear whispers in the hallway. Late night street wanderers would yell at random hours. The parking was close enough but it might not be safe late at night. The room was affordable, clean, comfortable (minus noise issue), and provided what we needed for the night. It might be haunted.

It was a clean hotel in a nice location. The room was not big compared to other hotels I stayed in the US but it was a reminder of my stay at a Parisian hotel in the past. The concierge was kind. You can see that she was really trying to help you. The only downside was, the stool was not cleaned properly and the water was draining slow in the bathroom sink. I had to report this to concierge.

Checked in at 3 am asked to check out 11:30 instead of 11 they said they cant accommodate and can choose to check out 1pm by paying 50-75 extra, only money matters. I recommend having some empathy and letting your guest check out 30 mins after specially after delayed flights and who checked in at 3 am in the morning. I recommend prioritizing clients over money and the money will come to you

Great location We’re enjoyed staying at the Lafayette Hotel in NOLA. The location was close to nice parks and cafes. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was old, but clean and functional. Great Hotel, Kasa needs to improve their systems The stay itself was great. Amazing hotel, perfect rooms, even better price. The management by Kasa, not great. I assume they are still going through the transition pains from a regular hotel to Kasa. So their charges for parking and deposits are not smooth, and they sent you too many emails. If you book more than one room for multiple people, the system kinda freaks out and more person will get all the emails.

This was an absolutely wonderful wonderful stay and experience overall. The hotel is beautiful with Southern charm and modern amenities. Mezzanine level with restrooms and ice machine is a nice touch as well. Extremely convenient location about a 15 minute walk to the French Quarter, original you can take the trolley that stops right in front of the hotel. Close enough to the action, but far enough to get away from it. Also a couple blocks away from a full grocery store so you can stock up on trip essentials without paying tourist prices. 24 hour staff were super nice and extremely helpful as well. Overall I cannot say enough good things about the Lafayette and highly recommend it if you are staying in the area.
