8/10 Very good
Friendly staff, valet parking (not free), well maintained hundred year old building, cold A/C, great location close to streetcars and the Arts / Warehouse district, the Julia Street galleries and WW2 museum. I deducted a star because: we requested and were confirmed a balcony room but there was no balcony in our room. No bathtub either, which we expected from our on-line reservation description - instead we got a handicap bathroom with a fold-down bench, shower and curtain in the corner, safety handrails everywhere, a toilet, mirror and sink all in one huge room which was as big as the bedroom. If we were in wheelchairs, it would have been perfect. No refrigerator either but there was an ice machine so bring a cooler. Once again, the staff was wonderful.
