Exceeded this hotel-goer’s expectations
When I booked a room at this hotel, I didn’t realize that it was a virtual check-in system and that there were no “obvious” hotel staff on site. Immediately I felt uncertain because I had only stayed in “traditional” hotels before, and wasn’t sure what to expect. Soon, I realized how responsive and helpful the staff were when I virtually communicated some questions before my stay.
And the room I eventually stayed in? It exceeded my expectation. It felt that I stayed at a home, not a hotel, while I was in Traverse City. A lot of the reviews make it seem like this entire experience will be fully DIY because of the virtual check-in system and “no staff being on site”, but that’s not the case. The hotels are more like furnished apartments, and you can tell that someone spotlessly cleaned them before you came. You will not want for anything during your stay. The staff is ever helpful. Kasa has set a standard, and I daresay I will be looking for a Kasa to stay at during my next trip.
