Unfortunately, our stay at Boardwalk Suites was less than desirable. The room was small with no closet or drawers, the beds were lumpy, thin walls, no ledges in the shower to put personal items, extremely bright lighting, no parking (even though there is an empty parking lot next to the building). The worst of it, the shower curtain was stained with significant mold spots. It really is the little things that matter, and those "little" but extremely noticeable things added up quickly. At almost $400 a night (weekend), we expected a higher quality room. If it was $100-$200 a night during peak Traverse season, it would have been permissible. It was early November for our stay. We were to grateful to have a roof over our heads, but it felt extremely overpriced. Better off staying at a Holiday Inn or even a Days Inn.

We loved our stay at the Kasa Boardwalk Suites. The location was fantastic, the full-sized kitchen was amazing, and it was very comfortable. Even though we give this place 5 stars we do have some feedback to make this place even better. 1. A TV in the bedroom Even though the TV in the living room was very nice, there's nothing like relaxing in bed in the morning and watching TV with your person. We realize not everyone wants a tv in their bedroom, but those folks can simply not use it if they want. 2. Some sort of included parking The lot directly behind the building was easy to use, but you couldn't park overnight so we had to either move our car to the street or into a garage nearby. Some sort of agreement with the city where we got a parking pass or were able to park overnight in the lot would have been awesome. We would've paid slightly more for this convenience. 3. We did find a lot of hair everywhere Our room was overall very clean and comfortable, but we did find a lot of hair. Pretty much everywhere... in the linens, in the bed, on the couch, in the shower, just everywhere. Other than that, our stay was amazing and these are minor quibbles at the end of the day. We absolutely will return and we really loved how easy it was to check in, and how you could do everything over text! Every question we had was quickly answered, and the staff was super friendly and efficient. Also, the price paid for this place was absolutely amazing when compared to other places in the area. So, it was a great value for the money.

Wonderful place to stay in Traverse City This place was beautifully decorated, super clean and cozy! And quiet!! Location is perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. While they don’t have onsite parking, there is a parking ramp just a block and a half away so it’s very convenient. We will definitely be staying here again when visiting Traverse City.

Great almost hidden hotel. Right in the middle of all the downtown action. Just walk out the door and you can walk to many spots to enjoy. Room was large, brand new and endless amenities.

We LOVED staying here! We booked this on a whim - a little nervous as we'd never heard of Kasa. But this place was perfect for my husband and I. What a fabulous idea - an apartment to rent. This place was cute, spotless, modern, and well-stocked. The bed/pillows were so comfortable! I wish I would have peeked at the mattress label. We arrived in the rain, needless to say I was thrilled to have a washer and dryer in the room. We will absolutely stay here again! Location was perfect. Parking deck is super close. Restaurants/bars all within walking distance. Thank you! We will be back!

This place has an amazing location, with two minute walks to restaurants, and a five minute walk to the water. The apartment itself is very updated with everything supplied that you could need. Overall a great stay and will definitely be back.

Great just like pictures, had everything we needed and it was super clean! Comfy bed and pillows makes all the difference. Even had coffee and tea with tea pot!

Had some minor setbacks on arrival but the team engaged and resolved immediately. Impressed by customer service.

Great price and they accommodated me last minute. Clean, new building. Make sure you enter through the side door (NOT the back door). Half of the building is still being built, so be aware there will be construction. (It wasn't loud at night.) Parking is not included. Overall, I would recommend based on the price and location.

Excellent location, easy to check in and out, and a great price. The only thing is you have to pay for public parking, so factor that into your costs. But it's brand new, great building, great location!

Beautiful room. Spacious and comfortable. Very clean. Great location downtown and an easy walk to stores, restaurants, etc. The only challenge was trying to find overnight parking, which we did after going around the block several times. Also, it was hard to determine where to enter the building.

We had an excellent stay! The location was great, right downtown. We didn't have any trouble finding street parking - parking might be tougher in the summer, but was no problem in late October! I didn't realize that we'd be getting a full apartment, so we loved having the living room and fully stocked kitchen. The space was clean, comfortable, modern, and included what we needed. I was nervous about not having in-person staff, but the team was very responsive. I reached out the day before with a question and received a reply within minutes. We'd stay again.

Generally an ok place for the price point as far as a quick stay when you’re not going to be spending much time in, but as with plenty of new developments it was a quick build structure prioritizing quantity over quality. There was an issue with cleanliness as I found dishes in the sink, socks under the bed, and a moldy shower curtain. I reached out to the host and they assured me the matter would be resolved. Other than that though it was in a very nice neighborhood within walking distance of a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops. It was quiet and pleasant and I wouldn’t mind going back as long as the house keeping issues were taken care of.

We had a wonderful stay at Kasa this past weekend! Me and my husband were traveling with our two year old, and we had a 2-bedroom suite. The smaller bedroom was the perfect size for our toddler, with plenty of room for her portable bed and several outlets for baby-related items (nightlight, monitor, etc). The suite had a full kitchen and table, which was great for preparing food and eating breakfasts. It was walkable to all downtown locations, and the parking structure was an easy 2-minute walk. There is also a pay by the hour (not overnight) lot behind the building that was perfect for unloading when we arrived. The only problem with the room was that the bathroom fan did not work, but overall the facilities were immaculate, and we were pleasantly surprised to have a beautiful view of the water! We will definitely return!

Good area of town with the parking structure just down the street and front street a block away. Not that close to the beach or waterfront from what I could tell. It is $20 for overnight parking. Room was huge, clean, and comfortable, my wife was very impressed :) Communication with Kasa was easy and clear over text message. If you do the check-in process ahead of time like you're supposed to, I can't see how you could have any issue. A few reviews complain about check-in but I did it before showing up to the property so I was totally fine.

We made the mistake of leaving behind some earbuds. But good news! They were found! I was charged $60 to have them shipped back....kind of steep, but OK. And they would not be shipped for another 5 days? Odd, but OK. 7 days later we were notified that the earbuds had been misplaced and the $60 would be refunded. What?! You had possession of my item, charged me to return it, and suddenly they have disappeared? Without a doubt an employee stole them from lost and found. I see this as a direct result of no on site management. Terrible experience, will not be returning, and do not recommend.

THERE IS NO PARKING ON SITE! This is something I didn't catch until after I had already completed my reservation. There is no parking lot at all for this hotel. There is a parking structure relatively close that you can park overnight but it's $21 a night to park there. The hotel itself is very walkable to shops and bars and restaurants so that was very nice. There aren't any amenities really on site like a pool or restaurant or bar. There is a very cool rooftop terrace though that you can sit and overlook the city and even be able to see the water. There's nobody that works on site so the day of check-in you get a code texted to you to allow you to open the front door and your room door.

This was my first time using a virtual hotel. All in all it’s fine. Rooms were clean. Check in and out were a bit more of a hassle than a standard hotel in my opinion - the ID verification takes a bit- but it’s not difficult. The room felt sterile, more like an upscale hostel. A small mini fridge and microwave were available. Area felt safe. Parking is off site in a ramp for about $20, so add that to the room cost. If the room was cheaper I’d consider it a better value, but considering the lack of amenities and lack of parking at a comparable price to a regular hotel, I don’t think it’s worth it.
