Everything was excellent

Good location and right on the beach. However , I did not like the hotel and it's amenities. The room was very basic, the comforter was not properly cleaned and the room was very noisy, from the air conditioning unit to the guests in the other room who kept shouting loudly and also the door non-stop at all hours of the night. Worst place I've ever stayed at.

5 stars The room was amazing and everything was very clean. The staff went above and beyond from the front desk making it a smooth check/checkout process to the valet parking staff making sure our vehicle was available when requested. Every employee made sure we were taken care of during our stay!

Amazing and relaxing stay Friendly staff, clean room, amazing beach front property with great view. The manager was awesome! Great leadership reflects on the team. Service excellent. Hotel has its own private beach with a on site restaurant that serves breakfast lunch and dinner.

The room was perfect great ocean view. Had all the amenities, was just as described. Customer service was great as well. Looking forward to booking there again.

The facilities were perfect the room was perfect for the size and the value you couldn't beat. Definitely would book another trip and stay there. The design of the rooms with the bathroom were beautiful. I would say the only drawback that I could see is that there is an additional expense for parking after arriving there I understand why this is the condition. Very limited on space and a lot of people with expensive cars. Definitely a valet service is necessary. Highly recommend to visit this place.

The staff at the resort are pretty good. Respectful and professional. The valet service was amazing! Especially the staff. They are extremely friendly. The bathroom tub did not drain water properly. As soon as you start to shower, the water starts accumulating. I tried to set up room service upon check in but did not have any available days even though my stay was for 5 days. Finally, there was horrible construction noise starting every day at 9am. I was on vacation and could not sleep in like I wanted. I even asked the front desk if I could have a late check out for my inconvenience which they denied even for 1 hour. I am very disappointed with my stay.

I was really hesitant to book this resort because of the mixed reviews but I also know that everyone has a different experience at different places. I would say this is one of the nicest places we have been at. This is based on price, location, service, the experience and memories we created this past weekend. Upon arrival the check in process was extra easy also I did like the valet parking charged at the beginning of the stay just for convenience it’s nice to know it’s already taken care of. The rooms are so nice and upgraded. In regards to the room the only thing I did not like was the floor being a little dirty I do think they could have been better cleaned the rest was awesome. It does have a restaurant on site and even though it doesn’t have a big menu what they offered was nicely made and the service was top level. Overall this was a great experience for us and hopefully we can come back soon.

This was not a friendly hotel. The valet parking attendant was rude on many occasions informing that I had 20 minutes free then reminding me again I had only 18 minutes left. The room was without smart TV and Netflix or any apps. The Ac was old and plug in type. Room is only cleaned if you book a cleaner in advance to come to room. People shouting most nights and party in rooms until 3 or 4 am. Doors crashing open and close. Not a restful vacation on the beach. Stail water in reception must have been there for days. Not a hotel to visit. Not a welcome place. Not good for relaxing.

Property was well maintained and very quiet. Was a great stay for a quick business trip, would recommend to anyone.

Very disappointing The room was on the small side other than that the shower was as slippery as ice and there were no hand rails to hold on to. I almost fell while taking a shower. The restaurant had a continental breakfast that was absolutely disgusting. They had cold oatmeal fruit loops and dried out white bread. No decaf coffee either. When I asked why there was such a limited selection I was told the supply truck never showed up

So much fun Everything was so beautiful I loved the pool the beach and the fact that you could just walk to the beach. The studio felt really small. I would try a bigger space next time. Service was excellent. Food was really pricey but you can order from other places. Wish the room had plates and an iron. Love that they provided beach chairs and umbrellas!

It’s a very nice hotel. Very nice front desk agents. You have access to the right off the property. Great amenities. Nice restaurant on the property. Would definitely stay there again.

This property is great if you want to disconnect from the city and crowds. I will definitely come back the One bedroom suite is a must balcony that over looks the ocean perfect for morning sun rise.

Ocean view and private beach were amazing, lots of space in the apartment as well. Clean and quiet.

Well, my experience at this resort was quite as expected. The most disappointing aspect was that upon arrival, I was required to pay for parking/valet upfront for the entire stay, which totaled about $150. This charge was unexpected. Additionally, the rooms are not cleaned on a daily basis, unless you specifically request it. There are no phones in the rooms, so any time you need something, you have to take the elevator down to the lobby, which is quite a hassle. I’ve never encountered this before. When I requested my room to be cleaned, I noticed that they didn’t even change the sheets or clean the bathroom. The sink faucet was still dirty, and I had to clean it myself. There was also mold in the shower corners. I definitely will not stay here again. On the positive side, the staff is very friendly, and the view and location are beautiful. However, the hotel itself is not worth the money, especially when they don’t even clean the rooms properly.

To think I wanted to cancel and tried several times, I must say I am so glad I wasn’t able to cancel.First I will begin by saying this is my first time ever writing a review for any of my stays ever! The main thing I loved was how clean the room was, loved my view the space and the security. I traveled alone with my dog and stayed 7 wonderful days. I especially loved how everyone treated and loved my dog (she really is cute) lol and she is super well trained. I loved how she got the chefs special (grilled chicken no seasoning)at Ya mas restaurant right downstairs. The ocean view was breathtaking and so beautiful, I felt so much peace at my stay the pool was awesome. I definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a quick getaway to book at Sonder in Hillsboro beach. If there is one thing I would add is would be nice if the pool stayed opened a little later like until 10pm instead of 8pm otherwise my stay was perfect and exactly what I needed-thank you 😊

The property considering the price was ok. Other than the front desk person there are not any staff to interact with. On my second day I got a bunch of bumps all over my body. It looked like bed bugs bite. I asked the staff to move us to another room since my son still did not get any bites. I was going to take all our clothes to an industrial dryer to kill any bed bugs and spray our suitcases. We travel a lot and I have been in a hotel before where they found bed bugs and they took care of everything and offered to move us and reimburse for the stay. The front desk person at this hotel called the manager who was not on site and asked if we could be moved, and the manager said no because they didn’t want to contaminate another room. This was the second day of a 10 night stay. So they gave us this contaminated room and then would not move us. I decided to move to another hotel talking all the precautions to disinfect everything we had with us so we don’t take it to the second hotel. I asked to speak with manager at Sonders. She would not speak with me and said she would contact me the next day. Which would be too late. Either way she did not call. Additionally I asked to be refunded for then entire stay and only received reimbursement for the days we did not stay there. Terrible experience of a hotel that does not value its customers.

Cuartos bien decorados con heladera y microondas. Tienen muy poco espacio de guardado y la humedad de los mismos es tremenda. El piso húmedo y la ropa de playa no se seca nunca. Resulta muy incómodo. Las vistas de los cuartos son regulares. El hotel da a una playa que es lindísima. Es lo que hace que valga la pena ir a este hotel.

This was a terrible hotel with guest screaming until 4am doors banging all night. The Ac is old and the plug in type. The rooms is so basic with no smart TV or Netflix. It's a cheep hotel therefor don't expect any quality.

The staff was very friendly, the area was convenient, there was a little restaurant and right on the beach! They offered chairs and umbrellas and the rooms were very well maintained

Absolutely fabulous

We had the one bedroom ocean view and the room and view was amazing! It was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the view from our room and balcony was beautiful. The staff, especially the valets were friendly, helpful and overall awesome! Would recommend and stay here again!!

I stayed there for 10 days with my family. Everybody was showing a warm welcome to me and my family. I will go back again. The food in that restaurant was great, and Raymond (the cook) was excellent. Parking was easy and they took good care of us.

We had a great time at The Hillsboro some really great memories for us. The hotel is perfectly positioned in Deerfield with the awesome beach and local amenities. I've stayed in a boutique style hotel before and i am ok with the rules and the differences with other accommodation, i just think that the cleaning was sadly lacking and would not need alot og changing to make it perfect. Sweep the floors people. Also the valet parking, i had read the reviews and was aware of the situation but it could be better. On the whole though i would not hesitate to return or recommend The Hillsboro by Sonder all the staff where fantastic and very welcoming, also probably the best breakfast in the area. Thank you guys, i will return.

Could be better The valet staff deserves 5 stars because they were kind and very attentive. Some of the front desk personnel deserve 2 stars. There were times when I encountered a very aloof and disinterested person who magically appeared from some back room. The front desk was left empty on most occasions, or the person was hiding behind the very high partition. The view from the hotel was beautiful and the pool was nice. The restaurant servers were great but all alone with very little or no help. We booked the superior king room. There were 2 king beds in the larger room and a small separate room with a queen bed. The main room was very spacious but awkward and not very comfortable. There are absolutely no drawers in the entire suite. You have to hang your clothes with the few hangers available and fold what you can. The electric outlets are placed in odd areas and most were not functional. The hotel did send the engineer to fix them after two complaints from us. There is an espresso machine and I was told they will replace those with a drip machine eventually. The lighting is also quite awkward and the bathroom is so bright that it hurts your eyes. There is a worrying real also with no drawer. The floor was difficult to keep clean. The first day we were there I had to wash it using a towel and I could not believe how filthy the floors were. The terrace floor has never been washed. Housekeeping is rare. Since we stayed a week they included 1 housekeeping day. We had nowhere to put the garbage and the garbage cans are small so they overfill quickly. I think they need to increase D the days that housekeeping comes to the rooms. We found ourselves constantly needing to call for towels. One day we were told they had no more towels and we were given pool towels to use. They have no towels by the pool as they hoard them behind the desk. There is some issue going on with the creepy garage underneath the building.

Beautiful quiet resort in a lovely area for a great price! Would definitely stay here again!

The people work there very friendly, the only thing is the cleaning they just put out the bed and don't change the sheets, change towels and take out garbage. The bathroom is dirty with sand and the floor.
