I must say the ocean view from the room I had was beautiful. It was private beach setting so foot traffic was at a minimum. My issue was how very often there is no one at the front desk even during check-in time. Laura, the guest services person, was very rude to me upon my arrival because I had a concern that no one was at the desk after waiting a little while and she is the head of guest experience, she had a poor attitude. I literally had to grab a the pool guy to get someone to check me in after coming off the train and a long drive. There were no phones in my room and cell service did not work well in the room so I was unable to contact my loved ones, they could not reach me either; I found this unsettling and a safety issue for those with medical conditions or if someone is in trouble. The room itself was lovely but it was not clean, there were stains in the bed, the decorative pillow reeked horribly and there was hair left on the table, in the shower and in the bed. I am not sure its worth staying again with the experience I had.
