I was skeptical at first, but after reading all of the good comments I decided to give it a try especially since it's so close to 6th street. It was beautiful, it felt like being at home, the balcony view was also great. I would definitely stay here every single time I plan on going to Austin.

One night Our stay at The Guild was great! My husband and I and another couple stayed one night and everything was perfect! Very clean, and the location was awesome. We we were going to a concert at ACL live Moody Center. Just around the corner. The place was great, and our bed was really comfortable.

Great place! The check in instructions were perfect and made me very comfortable in finding the right place and getting settled in. They had several light bulbs out, but they were willing to come immediately and fix them. Great location and view. Would definitely recommend this and stay here again.

Quiet spacious and near downtown Excellent location in short walking distance to shuttle for ACL festival and near west and east 6th street area entertainment. The room and building was quiet, fully furnished, and spacious with top notch onsite amenities like the business lounge, pool, and skydeck. The kitchen is stocked with all the cool cooking gadgets. The check in and check out process was well detailed upfront. Garage parking is available and is accessible directly from the building.

I was blown away by my experience at this location. The room is extremely aesthetically pleasing. I couldn't believe how amazing it was. I wanted to take pictures everywhere. The view of the city is breathtaking. The pool area is to die for. I'm pretty sure I took photos there every day and made every single one of my friends jealous. I don't think I can ever stay anywhere else when I come to Austin. Its centrally located and the amenities are wonderful. I never wanted to leave. It literally felt like home.

Good place in an easy location.. Good place in good location. Very easy access and instructions from concierge as it’s all automated check-in. Apartment ultra modern, good facilities but did lack a microwave (strange as had an oven, hob, coffee machine etc). The sofa is very low and we found after an hour or so it became uncomfortable to sit on. Good pool and sun deck but it’s not heated so very cold water. Parking at $20 a night is a little pricey but convenience forced us to do it. Overall a good place in a good location.

AUSTIN AT THE GUILD I would recommend the GUILD to anyone visiting Austin who needs a little extra space. The apartment was well equipped and very secure. The pool and workout facilities were new and well appointed. Our one bedroom unit had great views--we could see pop-up festivals nearby to visit. Only "gripes" were the spray from the water-saving shower head in our unit was barely a trickle, and there could have been more hangers, hooks and a dresser in the bedroom for clothing. Otherwise, great place to stay.

The whole thing was a hassle. The code to enter the building didn't work. Only one elevator in the building was working which took forever. Getting from my floor to the second floor where my car was parked when I was checking out was annoying because I could use a key faub and had to go to the lobby first. I received numerous texts from the concierge service that weren't meant for me...honestly, the whole thing was more hassle than it was worth.

The location is very good but the positive is mostly it. This is NOT a business level property. It is at best a dressed up college appartment. Credentials needed to get access to a room were agonizing. The process was not easy and in retrospect torally not worth it. This is a concrete everywhere building. It is like a city project or upscale prison look. Not a bit of color or other material exists in the hallways. Just concrete... Access to the building is a total pain in the back side. I circled the building twice at 11:30 PM until I figured it out. A key kisok did not work and I had to talk to somone at 11:30 PM by phone on a brutally cold night. No other help exists. You are completely on your own. Ladies, no offense, but if I felt vulnerable, it might be harder on you. Security is a question. The room is OK at a glance but ends there. The constuction is very poor. Balcony doors do not close tightly and wind whistled thru both doors. The bed was beyond bad. It swallowed me. It had the softest mattress possible. No box spring.

It is a little more complicated than a typical hotel as you have to send some proof of ID ahead of time as there is no lobby or concierge.
