Great location, could use a bit of work. Likes: Kasa Altmayer boasts a superb location in the heart of Savannah. There are many interesting shops and restaurants quite close by, not to mention the river district. The room and bathroom were clean and I even had a washer/dryer combo (which I didn't use) plus a full kitchen stove and a large refrigerator. Wifi was fast. Overall a bit too grey and soulless, but I'd stay here again. Dislikes: This Kasa seems to be an ex-Sonder. Like that, this is one of those 'no staff' stays, everything is managed via a website. There does not appear to be an app a la Sonder or Citizen M, which is annoying. I had some difficulty getting the initial door code, but once that was resolved the stay was very straightforward. The room itself was fine but could use some attention - chipped paint, a stain on the sheets, noisy ceiling fan, etc. No desk to work at, just a small table. The lighting in the room was poor, but I can live with that.

Kasa was an amazing place and a great location. We stayed in the deluxe studio and it was very spacious and clean! The location was minutes walking from River St and is located right around the corner from many restaurants and shops! would stay again!

Many positives but no staff on site and lack of action for noise not good. Likes: The check in process, location and room amenities. Also note for future travelers just park in the State Street Public parking lot ramp for $20 per day. Dislikes: Unfortunately we had to make five reports of very loud neighbors next door. Although the room walls were like an average hotel, their was a man and woman next door carried on a very loud, profanity laced argument for both our two nights. The Kasa process to report complaints was OK but they did not follow their own safety rules about evicting guests after one warning. Noise is one thing but this situation was about two people screaming and swearing at each other was something that should have warranted them being evicted. Kasa did credit us $85 which was helpful but not enough to lose sleep or worry about our own safety.

The location is great, the size of the unit is great, the bedding is great. However, I need more light and a better workspace. That being said, I will probably choose this place again when visiting Savannah.

The location and apartment were great, we just had trouble checking in as a door code was not provided. We had to wait about 30 minutes before we could get inside but it was resolved and did not ruin our stay at all. Would definitely stay again.

Good Kasa Experience in Savannah Likes: This was a good find in a convenient location in downtown Savannah. Hadn't heard of or used Kasa before, but I will again. Their entry and check-out instructions were simple and clear. The studio apartment was large, clean and very comfortable. Kitchen appliances were new and easy to use. Dislikes: Kasa could have been a bit more transparent about the late check-out options, which weren't shared until the day before we left. It's also rather inconvenient to have to pay to leave your bags nearby when early check-in isn't granted before 4 p.m.

Prime Location in Savannah Nice studio apartment in a very convenient downtown location in Savannah. Entry instructions were clear, although we had to wait until the 4 p.m. check-in time to enter. Liked the furnishings and kitchen appliances. The bathroom is huge and there were plenty of towels and supplies provided. There's a church near the property whose bells ring every quarter-hour, but it's otherwise a quiet location. Would highly recommend!

Ignore the negative reviews! Seriously… this place is incredible. The building is in the heart of downtown Savannah and a few steps outside of the building leads right into one of the squares to sit on a park bench and enjoy coffee. You are quite literally in the heart of everything and won’t need to Uber or drive at all. Everything is walkable. There is a CVS next door incase you forgot any essentials and several food options on the block, including a few coffee shops. As far as sightseeing, you are a 5 minute walk from the old cemetery, in the middle of several squares, a 2 minute walk ins to the shopping district and about 10-15 minute walk to Forsyth Park. The unit itself was adorable, cozy, and clean. There were no weird smells as another review mentioned and everything was comfortable. Our view was of the church and you might be charmed by the church bells every 15 minutes. Someone complained about there being no gym or couch or dressers in the unit, well duh. Nowhere on the listing does it mention having a gym. You don’t need one! You’ll be walking a lot. There is a closet in the main hall with extra stuff if you need it. There was an in-unit laundry too. There is a parking garage nearby that cost us $15 for the entire weekend and we didn’t need to use the car at all while there due to the walkability. Overall I can’t recommend this place enough. There are no on-site staff and you’ll be sent a code to access the building and your room, so if this is something you’re uncomfortable with, maybe consider that before booking.. however we preferred this option. We will definitely be booking again!

These Kasa units are a full floor of a mixed used commercial building. The pic of the unit on air bnb was different then what we got. Still nice, but not as “interior decorated” as pic. HUGE unit with industrial feel. Concrete floor and walls so it was perfect with our large dog (lab). Full kitchen although minimally stocked. Small 2 person kitchenette table. Standard bathroom. Washed and dryer in unit which is nice. Enter through a small lobby that services the Kasa units, medical offices and executive suites. Lobby and elevators were not well maintained. The same crumbs and dirt on floors the entire 4 days. Unit is code entry and was clean. EXCELLENT location in center of historic area. Safe and can walk everywhere. Zero parking so unloading sucked. We dumped everything in sidewalk while the other person parked. Garage is 2 blocks away. We used the spot finder app Kasa recommends and it was awesome although you couldn’t go in and out of garage if you prepay. $28 for 24 hours.

A comfortable and quiet apartment with a great location Likes: We had a spacious, quiet apartment room with great location. Very tidy and comfortable. Also the bed was excellent. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was also very nice. I’m usually very picky but this was a great spot! We would definitely stay here again in the future. Dislikes: The kitchen could have a few more forks and spoons. Also some more surface space in the room and a few more hooks in the bathroom would be nice. We had a room without a couch; having one in the room would be a great addition as there is plenty of space for that. But these were very minor issues for us.

Incredible Stay I would definitely book this condo again. Everything was so clean, and set up for total comfort and convenience. The location was spectacular, right in the heart of downtown. Communication with the property was such a breeze, I had a question about parking and they texted back instantly with the information I needed. And I love that they are pet friendly. Most definitely recommend.

We would absolutely stay there again. Likes: The location was great and very walkable. Dislikes: Unfortunately, there wasn't a couch. I think you could easily add a couch to the room to increase comfort.

it was a great and comfy stay

Easy to find and easy to get in anc check in. Very flexible. Nice for what it is. However, it smelled dusty. It was extremely dusty and had dirty floors. The walls were all scartched and full of scuff marks. Made it feel dirty

Property very safe and beautiful

We loved staying at the Kasa in Savannah. There was a huge kitchen and living space, and the location was excellent in the downtown area for restaurant and bar hopping. Also, it very close to the historic attractions. We had our dog with us, and the pet fee was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. Although no parking was provided due to the location, there are several parking garages close by. Instructions were very clear, and the virtual check-in and check-out process was effortless. Would highly recommend this rental to others!

easy to get anywhere by foot. parking can be inconvenient. we went to city hall and bought a parking pass for three days for 24 bucks.

Very good price for the location! Simple instructions on how to get in, felt safe, good restaurants and shopping all in walking distance, as well as fun bars ! We accidentally left our pillows and they were very responsive and helpful on getting them back the day we drove home ! The only thing was finding parking, we got lucky and had street parking right in front of the building, which on the weekends it’s free of charge! Absolutely would book again!

Great place to stay. The room was fully stocked. It was great to have a kitchen. The was large and spacious. Good communication with the staff. And very helpful. The room even had a white noise machine to sleep better with the city noises.

Our keyless entry door went dead one morning when we were about to leave. I was very worried about leaving the place unlocked while we were out on the town. The kasa staff were very quick to respond and came to replace the batteries within 10 minutes of notifying them. It was a great location in town and I would definitely stay here again.

Best place in Savannah! The best bang for your buck. Full size everything. Dishes for your use. TV was not set up to farm $$ from you. The location was in a perfect area to get anything you needed. CVS across the street open 24/7. Barber shop next door that has the best vibe. 5 min walk to river st. And public parking one street over. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

the property was very convenient for our trip. they are pet friendly and my chihuahua did great and had room to be free. Likes: the property was very modern, clean, and spacious. it had a full kitchen, dining table and the mattress was VERY comfortable. the property had extra towels, tea, and kitchen items. the location was the center of everything so easy walking to places. Dislikes: online description saying there’s no parking, which really wouldn’t be easy to find, but we got luck and there is a few parking spots right in front of the building and just paid for it all day and its free at night. would also be nice if they provided a brita for water!

Stayed here 3 nights with my Doxen to check out Savanahh. The place is about as central as it gets on the back side of the historic district. Studio apartment with modern appliances and a well stocked kitchen. Bed was comfortable, and water was hot. Parking is not easy in this part of town, and you will likely pay $25/day unless you park your vehicle well away from this property. I ended up paying $40 for 3 days, which wasn't horrible for having my vehicle within a few minutes of walking. I felt like the property could have been a pinch cleaner, but it wasn't a deal breaker. These pet friendly AirBnbs are tricky, as sometimes other pet's hair finds it's way into places or is hard to get off furniture/fabrics. There is a noise monitor in the unit that my dog set off a few times barking. If you attempt to inspect it, they will text you immediately. Something to keep in mind if your dog is younger, barky, or if you have kids that are loud. Overall..solid place to stay!
