Reviews of Kasa Altmayer SavannahReviews of Kasa Altmayer Savannah

Great location and quiet at night, felt very safe as a single traveler. Likes: Location Dislikes: Lacking a few basic amenities like a toaster, coffee, ice cube trays.

Overall my stay was AMAZING!!! I will totally recommend this property due to its location and great customer service as Likes: What I loved most about the property was honestly the location. Its location is ideal for a first timer visiting. Also, I felt secured and safe as well. Dislikes: I understand the property provides washer and dryer; however I prefer to not have to do laundry on my vacation. Wish they provided more towels and pillows/pillowcases as well. It was three of us and we needed more towels and pillows. I did contact the host and she brought me additional pillows and a blanket. I truly appreciated that. Also, remember Savannah is old and the building itself is pretty old, so there is a smell. Just purchase some air freshener or Frebeeze.

Likes: Es war einfach nur ein Traum! 😊🌅

Had a quick trip to Savannah & the Kasa Altmayer was in the heart of the historic district! Likes: Great location, room was perfect for me.

Great place to stay in historic Savannah! Will definitely be back. Parking tip: parking in nearby State Street garage or Congress st garage. Easy and affordable.

Enjoyed our stay! Will use them in the future!

The pictures were taken from the window in 403. Lovely studio and well appointed. Bed was super comfy and I’m fussy. Location to park was great, its just a block away.

Excellent stay.

This place is perfect for a weekend getaway for two! It is in an amazing location, within walking distance to so many restaurants, the river walk, and the historic district. Check in was easy, with step by step instructions. There’s street parking around the building or a few parking garages nearby. The unit has what you need for a weekend away and was overall clean and quiet. Definitely recommend staying here!

Definitely Amazing This place really made us feel at home. So much so, we kept calling it home. The bed is amazingly comfortable, I had no issues sleeping. The kitchen is complete minus the food. 10/10 would stay again!

Our two night stay at Kasa Airbnb went well. It was very clean and well appointed, down to a first aid kit. The bed was super comfy. The building was accessible to public parking and nearby restaurants. We would recommend staying there.

Large space in a brilliant location. Very comfy bed and pillows. Noisy air con and a fair amount of noise from outside and other guests. There was no bedside table or light on one side of the bed. The floors were very dirty and the kitchen tap was incorrectly fitted. Small things I know but not the attention to detail I was expecting for the price paid. There were no channels on the tv only casting which isn’t much use when you’re from abroad even when using a vpn. I had an unexpected $250 charge put on my card the day before we arrived. I understand why they might want to do this but surely there should be some mention of it.

This building was centrally located in the heart of Savannah. The building codes to enter and use the elevator made me feel very secure. Super amenities and communication.

Such a great, clean, spacious place with easy access to shops and restaurants. We loved it!!

It was just ok nothing special Dislikes: Parking was horrible and should’ve been posted prior to allowing you to book

Mostly great! The place was beautiful and very cool, it also felt very secure. I only have two major complaints: one, I booked two separate rooms and prior to checking-in, I only got the information for how to check-in for one of the rooms. I had to reach out to the virtual desk to get the information about the second room. Luckily I had time, but if I hadn't that would have been super stressful. The second thing is that the AC only would go down to 65 degrees. On an average day that might be fine, but our first night was 95 degrees and we couldn't sleep through the night. The property should let it go down to around 62, not everyone is from the south and used to the heat.

Great location in the heart of the historic district. Easy check in and good communication with the host - when we had an issue, they were responsive and amenable. They switched us to a new unit in the same building. We did not have any issues with noise like other reviewers.

Beautiful historic location.

I could not be more pleased with the price, communication, location and interaction with Kasa. The unit was so fantastic, the washer and dryer a great added benefit, the bed was SO COMFORTABLE! Love that everything is electronic, codes, etc., no keys and no issues whatsoever. Savannah was great, this unit was the icing on the cake! Everything was walking distance, the high ceilings, the large shower, full kitchen (who is cooking with the amazing restaurants all over, including across the street and downstairs, lol)! I will certainly look at upcoming places to see if Kasa is there!

Excellent spot! So walkable to everything you want to do in Savannah. I went Memorial Day weekend and was pleasantly surprised at how big the space is. It’s listed as a studio but is definitely a 1bd. Loved it. And it was amazing that pods for laundry were provided. Would absolutely come back.

Beautiful Apartment

Clean, nicely furnished very spacious studio. Would be great for a day or a week. Likes: Location is great for tourists. Near many restaurants, cocktail lounges and shopping. Safe and very walkable Dislikes: Parking was a little tricky. We lucked out and found a spot in a nearby garage but we did have to walk several blocks with luggage.

Great place! Clean, modern, great location in downtown Savannah, professional, attentive and responsive Hosts. Nothing to not like about this place. Water pressure left a lot to be desired, but I think that might be an overall issue in the area. THE place to stay if your ever I'm Savannah for a bit

Convenient. Reasonable pricing.

We overall enjoyed our stay! The location was great, the kitchenette was good, the bed was comfy, check-in and check-out were easy. But it was really a bit expensive for what we got. Most notably, the air conditioner could not keep up with the space, and we woke up sweating each night. I would be concerned about staying here in the height of summer. There was also only one dish towel, and no kitchen-style trash can, just a small no-lid trash bin (no recycling). There was no free daytime parking nearby, and I feel like Kasa could have sent us a link to parking information in Downtown Savannah, as we were able to figure out how to pay minimally for parking after we had checked in, but it would have been nice to know sooner from our host. I would just expect a little more from a company-host like Kasa.

This was the perfect location for easy access to the whole of Savannah. Everything was within walking distance and it was easy to get back into the building. Parking was a little hard to find and the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors. Other than that it was clean and comfortable!

This was my first booking with Kasa, I was lucky to find this a few weeks before travelling to Savannah. I booked via Air BNB and what clinched it for me was the one set fee, not all this extra this that and the other fees to make your 400 trip almost double. The communication was great, knowing I had 24/7 access (which I did not need) was very reassuring. The location was in the historic area, access to the apt was secure and the actual room/apt was AMAZING! I loved how it was set up, full kitchen, great view of the street, big bathroom and a bed which I now desire for its comfort. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was just icing on the cake so to speak. I never had issues with noise during the night, any staff or guests were very polite when I did encounter someone. I did not take pictures but did do a video and am sharing my exp with anyone who will listen. I will certainly move your company to the head of my booking list when travelling because of this experience, thank you for making my 1st trip to Savannah so memorable.

Great location in Savannah, close to everything. The place was very clean. We would definitely come back. 😊

I will have to give this place 5 stars. So beautiful and clean, right next to some amazing places to and shop. Maybe 4 blocks from riverstreet. My only personal complaint would be that the bed was a bit hard for me, so if you like a softer mattress just bring an extra comforter to sleep on. It can get loud at night on the streets but it is nothing crazy and it dies out before 11pm. The places that stay open later are a few blocks away. Very nice Kitchen, with all you would need to make a meal. Bathroom is a great size and was very clean with extra towels and all. I felt very safe in this building, as well as this area. I would recommend this place.

A true nightmare with main door code!! Don’t leave the room after dark!!

Overall pretty good stay. Some things needed to be cleaned a little better such as the walls or some of the other surfaces, and there was a distinct smell in the hallways, entryway, and room. They did provide a fan which was very nice. It was very walkable and right in the center of the downtown/historic district and near the river walk. If it was a little cleanlier it would be five stars for sure.

Love this place!

This was overall a good place - though it lacked some basic things that could have made it truly excellent. The instructions for entry were unclear and difficult to parse in real time... there were two separate codes, one for the main entry AND elevator (same code), and another for the door. The instructions attempted to convey this, but fell short and left us guessing. The unit itself had some nice features. The full kitchenette was well done and handy for us. The bathroom was also nice, but lacked attention to detail - the caulk job was sloppy, and there were absolutely no hooks on which to hang towels, despite having a TON of wall space. Don't get me wrong - location was great, and the unit was more than adequate... it's just pretty clear that this is a multi-unit operation that has some smells of "budget rental" on it that keep it from 5-star status. Parking - State Street deck worked OK for us. $20 max per day. They have EV chargers, which is nice.

Responsive host, appreciated the seamless check-in/check-out.

I highly recommend this location! When they say 24/7 virtual service they are not kidding. They reply instantly and were even kind enough to send me several parking options. I loved the fact they have an in-unit washer and dryer. Kitchen was fully stocked with plates and dish ware. We stayed for 4 days and enjoyed our time at this location. You are also within walking distance of everything in Downtown Savannah

The property was very secured and high-tech.

Such a great stay, the studio was clean, comfortable and matched the pictures. The airbnb is walking distance to almost everything. Tons of restaurants, stores, & bars near by. Our room was next to the elevator which was bit noisy but they had ear plugs & noise machine to help out! I wouldn’t let this deter you unless you’re a very light sleeper. Overall, it’s a great airbnb.

Great Savannah gem! Right in the middle of everything! Parking garages just a block away with street parking also available. Inside was extremely quiet, just hear the loud people and vehicles.

Clean and very spacious studio. Amazing location! Walking distance to everything, food, shopping, spas and historical sights. Even after the drunk noisy neighbor woke us two nights straight coming in around 2:30am, (not Kasa’s fault) we would absolutely still stay here again. Definitely recommend, well worth the $$!

parking is an issue around here. suggest you review instructions before arrival and find a place to park per the instructions. a little walk might be involved. if two people, can drop off bags first.

Excellent location, huge loft space (like a studio apartment) — would benefit from having a stool but otherwise very comfortable. The entire floor of the building is dedicated to short-term rental units like this one. Downsides: there is no 24/7 service despite that claim. You instead interact with an AI bot, not a human, that will auto direct you to FAQs. I know this because I gave feedback about finding a hair in the bathroom upon check-in and I requested late check-out (on a Sunday). I didn’t get any reduction on the cleaning fee nor was granted flexibility with check-out. And when the bot does eventually send you to a human, they offer little and delayed interaction. I would still recommend this accommodation but don’t expect to see any humans during your stay, guests or staff.
