Family Vist Base So convenient for family visit in Alexandria. Just as advertised. Clean. Easy peasy access. Great price. Super neighborhood with great restaurants. No issue parking close by. Already reserved for July! Try Cheestique, Junction Bakery and The Garden. Del Ray Cafe is tops, as is the Dairy Godmother. Wonderful farmers market on Saturday.

Wonderful and would stay there again. Good location for the money. Likes: Loved the space with large living area separate from the bedroom. Really liked the location which was close to where our family lived as well as loads of restaurants. Only had a 2 minute walk to get fresh donuts and coffee in the mornings. Would definitely stay there again. Dislikes: Bathroom was small and sink was tiny. Couldn’t have 2 people getting ready in there at the same time.

worth the money Apartment was spacious and well furnished and reasonably clean. Bed comfortable. Super location with lots of fun eateries and bars nearby. No grocery store or pharmacy, so be aware. Easy trip from DCA. However, it was quite dark, as several lightbulbs were out. Appreciated the coffee and tea. Be aware that luggage storage is an unlocked area, so not really a place to leave anything of value.

Was a very nice stay in a pleasant neighborhood. We got to stay on a Saturday during our trip which is why we got to see a local farmers market taking place that day. There is a bus stop right in front of where this is but the bus schedule is not always accurate as shown on Google maps but that's nothing to do with the BnB. Overall very nice stay in a nice neighborhood in Virginia. Would defo recommend.

Great Del Ray Spot We loved our stay at Sonder Del Ray! We stayed in the one-bedroom apartment and it was clean, cute, and functional. Highly recommend! Know that this is an older property, so the windows need to be replaced (noisy from road and can feel the cold), but a noise machine is provided which helped a lot. Also, the thermostat is old-school, but it worked fine. The bed and bedding was comfortable, and we loved access to the full kitchen with microwave and coffee pot (plus yummy provided coffee). It was easy to check in and check out. We loved this so much better than staying at a hotel. The neighborhood is adorable, and we tried out four different dinner spots while we were there -- we loved them all!

Stay was amazing! The entire building is spotless, the restaurants literally right next door are cute, affordable and really good. Concierge/chat was an amazing asset. Check out was easy but weird. The app wouldn’t let me hit “check out” before 11, once 11 hit the check out option went away so my check out felt like it was unfinished but we left at around 8am and never had any issues or complaints about not hitting the check out button. Also, the bed was probably the comfiest bed I have ever slept on outside my home. Highly recommend

Great Stay! We loved our stay here. There were stairs... even inside the flat, which didn't bother us, but may hinder someone with a mobility issue. The room was comfortable and quiet. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, cooking essential, cleaning supplies, and essential condiments for cooking. The TV was run with Chrome Cast which we couldn't figure out. We had our computer so we just used it instead... had good wifi. Location was near metro bus, DASH bus, and easy find for Ubers. There were many choices for food, snack, and shopping. We absolutely loved our stay here!

Good value, but know what you are reserving My first time to use Sonder, but pretty sure I will use again. The room was as clean as you could want, and facilities pretty much as I expected based on description and pictures. Access via number pad is good, but make sure you have a record of the entry code handy (at my age, an 8 digit number can be tricky to recall)! The room was nicely decorated and felt fresh, but on the negative side, whoever designed the room never used it. Small details like position of sink in bathroom seemed rushed, and not thought out (in my case, no elbow room for a right handed person to shave or brush teeth in front of mirror above sink), towel hook located far away from shower (exacerbated by fact there is no towel change during stay). Overall, the value for money was very good, and so will likely use in other locations if price differential is similar.
