We stayed at Kasa for one night during a layover. The location was perfect for a brief stay, and the room was very clean when we arrived. However, soon after settling in, we noticed that it was much hotter in the room than the temperature indicated on the thermostat. After expressing our concern to the host at 2PM, the person on-site checked our room and claimed that it was cool. We expressed concerns again around 7PM only to be told, "It is over 90 degrees in Miami, and the AC only runs while people are in the room. Give it a couple of hours for the room to cool off." The room never cooled, reaching at least 85 degrees in the middle of the night. My partner and I could not sleep. Had our concerns been taken seriously, we feel as if the host could have resolved the issue. Kasa is receiving 3-stars instead of 1-star from us only because they issued a refund for half of what we paid pre-taxes.
