We had concerns about the area, due to the lack of security and the homeless, but it turned out to be a good area, downtown, close to everything, and relatively far from the epicenter of insecurity on Market St. There were some, but they do their thing. However, I don't recommend wandering around the Tenderloin area after dark. As for the facilities, we were on the fourth floor in a large room with a private bathroom, built-in closet, and table with two chairs. Everything was clean, the bed was extra-large and comfortable, and the bathroom was equipped with soap, toilet paper, and towels (perhaps there could be a couple more in the shower for week-long stays). I read complaints about street noise, and at least on the fourth floor, it's not a major issue. The hotel has a laundry room, a dining room, and a fully equipped shared kitchen where you can cook and store your food in the refrigerator. They do have a huge coffee maker, but there are no coffee pods. The common areas were clean and tidy. They returned my $250 deposit the day after I left the room. Me devolvieron los 250$ de fianza al día siguiente de dejar la habitación.

Well thought through accommodations and exactly right for our purpose, a short stop over that required doing laundry which we were able to do in the building. There is also a kitchen and common room, for those nomadic co-working needs. Neighborhood borders on some soso areas but is also walkable to Market street and Union Square shopping and SF MOMA. And price was good too.

The check in process was good, kasa was on top of communications. The place was clean and looked like pics, and although this a older building with no AC i wish kasa had a floor fan or something in the unit as a result of the Air in the building not being the best the air in room was stuffy. Other than that good experience overall and good clue considering the price

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen had water coffee and tea which was great.

I would definitely stay there again. No fuss. Central. Easy to get to, in and out. Good communication without meeting any staff. I did not need to use the kitchen, ac or heating. Clean room. Bathroom. Towels and fridge plus tv so very good for the price. Stayed in another hostel and for the same price I just had a bunker bed in a dirty shared room. So this was luxury.

The location of the hotel is very good — there are many places nearby, and it’s still quiet. However, upon check-in the room had an unpleasant odor and some stains, which wasn’t a great first impression. We contacted the host, and although it took some time to resolve, we were eventually moved to another room. The new room was much better, and overall the stay became more comfortable. Great location. Their quarter machine doesn’t work so make sure to take your own to wash the clothes. The sink was clogged and shower pressure is not too good, but for the price is very good.

This is an older hotel. Runners in hallways curling up and I would say tidy but not super clean. Didn’t have AC but the box fan helped.

They have a common kitchen, lounge and laundry downstairs! I discovered that more than 10 days in into my stay!

Convenient location and easy to find. The room is spacious and amenities were as described. Super easy to get into the building and the room itself. The building is relatively quiet. It is SF, so location wise, you could do much, much worse. However, the toilet appeared loose and I noticed a leak behind the toilet on the last day of my stay. The laundry room does require change, but the change machine was broken and the dryer I used was also broken. The kitchen was generally clean but other people staying in the building left dishes in the sink and dirty pots. For a short stay, Kasa is great but for longer stays, be sure to bring change in quarters.
