Très bien Likes: L'hôtel est vraiment bien. J'appréhendais mon séjour concernant la circulation de la rue mais au final cette partie de sutter street est vraiment calme (je n'ai pas utilisé les bouchons d'oreille pour dormir). les parties communes sont joliment décorées et les espaces partagés facilitent les rencontres avec les autres voyageurs. La cuisine est au sous-sol mais on a la lumière du jour avec ses 2 grandes fenêtres. La chambre qu'on m'a attribuée était au 5eme étage, j'avais une très belle vue de ma chambre, je m'y suis vraiment senti bien. Dislikes: Un manuel pour l'utilisation de la douche, j'ai mis du temps à comprendre comment elle fonctionnait sinon la pression était bonne.

This was a great place to stay for a night in SF! It had the feel of a hotel but also homey, all with no need for interaction with anyone. The community kitchen was great for a quick morning cup of coffee and filling up our water bottles.

This is the second time I stayed at Kasa la monarca for work. It was an amazing experience again. Important to highlight that I had some power issues during my second day of staying and the Kasa team solved them promptly, the energy was restored when I came back from the office. Just like last time, it was super clean and cozy. Will definitely stay a third time!

Great location, amazing price for sf - I paid 80 dollars per day, this is half ad much as other hotels in the area. The staff is super nice. The room and common area are very clean and modern, has a coffee machine, inexpensive laundry, room has everything you need, fridge, microwave, iron/board, wifi is good. One downside due to which I rate this 4 stars, and should be an easy fix - the radiator clanging loudly at 5am every day. This is unnecessary as each room also had a space heater, so they shouldn’t turn on the central heating so early, but wait until 9am instead so people can sleep. I almost don’t want to review this place because I want to keep it for myself in the future 😅

No hay trato con personas. Likes: La cama era muy cómoda. La habitación es amplia. La construcción, un edificio viejo e histórico, es muy lindo y está muy bien cuidado. Dislikes: Es muy complicado comunicarse con las personas del hotel dado que el sistema que utilizan es principalmente de respuesta automática. Si se está viajando y con poca internet el pre che king no es sencillo y no se ofrece respuesta personalizada ante situaciones imprevistas. Luego te cobran un seguro que no está claro de antemano o te retienen 250 dólares y eso tampoco está claro. El alojamiento es muy lindo, pero la ausencia de trato humano hace que no sea un hotel. No debería presentarse bajo ese título.

Honestly, staying at this hotel was like having my room. It was immaculate, and I had everything I needed. Additionally, I was near locations such as Chinatown, Downtown, and parks. Great location to be in, with good food around to check out, once you are ready to explore San Francisco. The services have been very helpful, and instructions on how to get to the hotel and your room. An amazing experience for my first time staying in San Francisco for a couple of nights, by myself. I can say the price was worth it, even though it was a bit above my budget; it was still worth every cent. I hope you agree as well once you check it out yourself. most definitely, I will come back to this hotel in San Francisco every year. Kasa was an amazing host! I stayed a night for a concert and was a 5 minute walk away from the venue. The price for the location and the quality and comfortability was great. They were always proactive and ready to provide any help that I may have needed. They are located on a busy street, but provided ear plugs to ensure guests sleep well, which I greatly appreciated! Code entry really made it feel like I was coming home. I will absolutely book here for all my future San Francisco trips!

Amazing experience Was an amazing experience and very clean and comfortable. Staff was so nice, while also being very helpful with any concerns, will be visiting again.

My husband and I appreciated the ease it was to book, check in, and check out with everything being virtual. The room did what we needed, as we spent most of our time exploring San Francisco and the surrounding areas. It was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed.

🚨 Mice infestation & filthy conditions! 🚨 This place was disgusting—random hairs, unclean surfaces, and even holes in the bedding! 😷 The shower didn’t drain, the broken heater turned the room into a sauna in summer 🥵, and we saw mice! 🐭 Only plus? The room is decently sized (if you ignore the grime), but the chairs were so sketchy I wouldn’t sit or put my bags on them. Internet was painfully weak too. 📵 Basically, it’s a *hostel with private bathrooms*—only book if you prioritize cheap privacy over cleanliness and basic comforts!

Absolutely awful, was accommodated to terrible room after I had purchased the room with the bay windows was SOLD OUT. The room was small (felt it didn't match up to what I paid for originally) and smelled so strong of men's colonge. I was sent texts 2 hours ahead with the entrance code and thought I could check in early but not the case which confused me for a moment. Didn't look at the reviews until I entered my room and turns out there's an active rat infestation since last month?! This looks extremely bad Kasa.. don't even bother leaving a comment on saying how your standards are high or going to change because the reviews say otherwise. Not even expecting a refund at this point...

We enjoyed ourselves! Our hosts were extremely helpful, responsive, and kind. Our room itself looked clean and we were happy to see the mini fridge in the room. They also provided cookies, water, and ear plugs. Finding the box fan in the closet helped since there is no central air and only a heating radiator in the room. I also loved the tall mirror made it very easy when getting ready. This was our first time staying at a pet friendly hotel and honestly it could have been a lot worst lol We had low expectations but ended up being pleasantly surprised!!!!!! My only “negatives”: It’s just 2-3 blocks away from Tenderloin so be mindful when walking around places especially at night (we learned this the hard way). The hallways had a bad smell (but I guess it should be expected at a pet friendly hotel). I wish there was air fresheners to make the rooms and hallways smell better. I also didn’t love that we had to pay $80 to check in at 1:00 instead of 4:00. But happy we had the option

We had a wonderful stay and great hospitality from Kasa team, especially James! The location is fantastic- within a 10-minute walk there are tons of great breakfast spots to start your day. The bus stop just a few blocks away made it super easy to get to most of the key sights along the waterfront and around the city. It was a very convenient home base for our week-long trip, provided complimentary kitchen are spacious for us to have snacks throughout the day, and the location really helped us complete almost everything on our itinerary. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore San Francisco with ease.

The location is great and super convenient, and we’ve always appreciated the easy in-and-out access. It’s in a walkable area and makes getting around simple, which is a big plus. Dislikes: Unfortunately, this stay came with several disappointments. There were ants and small bugs in the room, which made things uncomfortable. The noise from above us—often sounding like construction or someone cleaning—was constant during the day and night, and on some nights, it was genuinely unbearable. The lighting in the bathroom and overall space was far too dim to get ready comfortably. My girlfriend and I ended up using the living room mirror instead. It would also help to have more shelving in the bathroom for toiletries, as there was very little space to keep things organized. We were hoping for a better experience this time around, but due to these issues, we’ll likely choose a different space next time. We hope the team considers some small upgrades, especially improving the bathroom ambience and sound insulation. For the cost, I expected more.

Does the job, but didn’t fully match what we are expecting of an Airbnb, in our opinion. Felt more like a hotel with a community kitchen rather than an actual Airbnb. Just a personal feeling. The location however was brilliant, so would recommend just for that aspect. Kasa is responsive and always tries to help in case of any queries.

Amazing stay! Will come back again next time. Perfect for two people as described:)!

Pésimo Likes: Ubicacion Dislikes: Todo. No hay servicio de limpieza, no hay canales de televisión, no hay clima, muy ruidoso de noche. No hay cafetera, ni agua. Muy chico. No es hotel, e sun cuarto pequeño ruidoso y sin servicio. Deberían ponerle otro nombre. Airbnb esta mejor que eso.
