A clean, secure, comfortable place with a really nice view! Kasa was highly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.

The place is nice, but very impractical options to leave luggage for before check in and after check out. You never get to communicate with a person, only automated options that feels awkward and hard to ask for specifics. Location is nice and the room is comfortable and clean.

The place was great! Very clean and centrally located! I didn’t read the full description and I realized that it was a shared kitchen. It all worked out, but that is something to realize. Overall, it was a fantastic stay! Thank you!

After an easy check in process I found my room on the 4th floor. With my own private bathroom, comfy bed and large closet I was able to settle in quickly. I would stay here again in the future when in SF.

enjoyed our time the room had everything we needed. the bed was very comfortable and the place was very clean. we really enjoyed staying here. plenty of hot water for showers. small walk in closet was great. really impressed.

A very nice stay.

Location is perfect for your 1st time in SF. Amenities are great if you need to work from there. The kitchen is well equipped and free cafe is a nice to have. The unit has super nice bathroom and good beds. I had an issue with the wifi only the first day but support give me a coupon to pass the day in a coffee store. Thanks for that

kasa is a wonderful space and we enjoyed staying. not the easiest to make requests with host but everything else very simple, very straightforward

so far our first night was wonderful. the room is very nice and clean. the owner thought of everything.

Everything was perfect

I loved this hotel! I honestly stayed at nicer hotels, but the vibe here is amazing! I like how it’s in the middle of all the night life! The only flaw was not having parking :(

I had a very good stay. The location is perfect, you could reach everything within minutes and the public transport is close as well. The rooms were big and very clean. I would definitely recommend it.

Einziger Wehmutstropfen: Es gibt überhaupt keine menschliche Rezeption mehr, dadurch auch keine Gepäckaufbewahrung, die Möglichkeit, Fragen zur Umgebung zu stellen, oder schnelle Abhilfe, wenn z.B. wie bei uns plötzlich eine Steckdose ihren Geist aufgibt

If you’re looking for a hotel, don’t choose this property. This is nothing more than a home stay and I was highly disappointed. I really did not appreciate the deception behind labelling this as a hotel, had this been labelled as a home stay my expectations would have reflected this. There is no front desk, you are send an email with codes to open your front door and room. There is no cleaning service, one can be arranged for an additional fee. This has never been the case for any hotel I have ever stayed at, this is the whole point of staying at a hotel as opposed to a private stay. They try to hide behind the excuse that the have a virtual front desk and any questions can be answered there. I’m sorry but this is not as quick or efficient as having a real person at the front desk to talk to. There is only one towel per person provided for your entire stay, and the quality of these was terrible. So they did not dry very quickly and become quite gross very quickly. The cherry on the top was when we asked if there was a place we could store out luggge as we were required to check out at 11am but our flight was not until late at night. First we were told they did not provide these services and then were told they would do so at a fee of $50 for 3 hours or $90 for 6 hours. Never have I stayed at a ‘hotel’ that didn’t provide this service, let alone charge extra no at such an excessive rate. Would definitely not recommend.

There were multiple stains on the comforter which were off putting.

Kasa La Monarca is centrally located making it a very convenient place to stay. Overall it was a great experience and we will stay there again when coming to town on business. The beds were comfortable and the rooms felt clean! The pictures of the common spaces are all sparkly and the actual needs a little polishing but nothing too offsetting. I know homelessness is an issue all over but it did feel a little sketchy around the hotel after dark.

We had a really pleasant stay at Kasa. Our room was very comfortable and we felt like home for the first second. ♥️ The Airbnb is located quite central - 15 min next to Union Square and Chinatown. There are no free parking lots in the area but that seems to be normal in San Francisco (expect 30-40$ parking fee per day). We had a really good time in San Francisco and would definitely come back. ☀️🌉

Imagine being at home but never wanting to leave

The place was super comfortable, with all the amenities. You could find stores and restaurants nearby so the location was excellent. When we come back, we´ll definitely stay in Kasa again

Great location, walking distance to tons of restaurants, parking lots, Chinatown and North Beach, major hotels if attending conferences. Our room was a studio, big King Bed, decent (small bathroom), mini-fridge and TV. Not great if two people are working in room and on phones. Community work space in basement along with full fridge to share and cooking facilities. Only problem was JP Morgan conference was all week nearby, and several guests used this community space to host large team meetings, simultaneously, making it nearly impossible for one of us to work and connect to any power sources and have calls / zoom without tons of activity around us. Good for us with dogs, but plan on cement for any bathroom activity.

The heat was broken in our room. They told us that it was just an old building and to use a tiny space heater and they wouldn’t give us an extra blanket.

Good hotel near Union Sq Kasa La Monarca is conveniently located and really nice. No reception, so you get a code for the door sent by mail 24 hours before arrival. The support staff is incredibly friendly attentive when you contact them by phone or mail. Literally 24/7. Much more so than in many staffed hotels. In the basement there is a full kitchen, a lounge and meeting tables - very, very nicely done. I can highly recommend this hotel.

This AirBNB has a number of sleeping rooms and a common area in the bottom floor. The building and furnishings have been completely updated from its former life as a hotel. Importantly, the facility is visited daily by a cleaning staff who keeps the common area spotless. Room cleaning can be arranged according to your preference. Although no one is physically present, every issue is handled completely and promptly through messaging. There are rooms facing Sutter Street and earplugs are provided, but other than the random police siren it is actually a quiet area at night. I do plan to stay again on a future visit to S.F.

Comfortable Stay This accomodation is well run. Check in and communications are all digital. They check with you by text during your stay. All areas are kept very clean. The location is convenient for Union Square and Powell Street. Small fridge in the room and large one in the shared kitchen.

If I need to visit SF again, I will definitely consider KASA first. Thanks for the great hosting!

What you see is what you get Honestly, did not expect much but was pleasantly surprised. If you follow the instructions they send, there is literally no way you have a bad experience. The place is clean, convenient, and no frills satisfactory. Bathroom is small, no... they didn't give me an early check in or the extra towels I requested in advance but neither really ended up mattering. I'm a Bonvoy guy but all were sold out for the conference: Kasa was solid in a pinch

everything was just as advertised. great location on the edge of he tenderloin district. host was responsive and helpful while being very polite. would book again! even cut us some slack when we needed a later than approved checkout time! these guys are wonderful!

The staff was extremely responsive, helpful and friendly. I never felt abandoned. The room was HUGE! The common area had a big kitchen, lounge area, dining tables, common bathroom and a wash room. Kasa made my stay here comfortable and pleasant. The customer support is fantastic. Definitely my first choice when I return to San Francisco!

Great room and location. Check-in and check-out were relatively easy and flexible. My partner and I had a great time. It was an easy walk or Uber ride to most places like museums and the sort. The walk to mall was nice as well. There were a lot of restaurant options in the neighborhood too. The only thing that wasn't great was the Roku TV. You had to stand close to it and point directly at the sensor for it to work. Besides that the stay was great clean room and facilities. I would stay again!

Kann dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen. Das Hotel liegt ca. 10 Minuten weg vom Union Square und auch viele andere Sehenswürdigkeiten in und schöne Orte sind zu Fuß oder schnell mit Uber oder Taxi erreichbar. Das Team von Kasa ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Zimmer beinhalten alles was man braucht. Ich würde dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen

Very reasonable price in a very active part of town. There was a lot to do but it was a little loud at night. Other then that no complaints.

My few days in Kasa were pretty good and pretty relaxed. My heater wasn’t working but they had a portable heater in the closet and that did the work. Parking wasn’t easy and garages around the area are pretty expensive. If you don’t need a car don’t bring one. Is easier to take Uber everywhere… Lots of restaurants around the are and a pretty well stocked kitchen. The social are was always calm and clean ! Would stay here again

The hotel is clean, has a great location, and the staff are the best people I’ve ever dealt with. They made sure everything went smoothly and cared about every single need I had.
