This place calls itself a hotel, but it is nothing of the sort. It prices it's room at rates on par with a 4 stars hotel, but it doesn't even have the amenities of a private room hostel. A hostel would at least have someone on duty on the premises, but this place has not a single soul on duty on the property. This is an old former hotel with a semi new and poorly done paint job. There was even a homeless person passed out blocking the door entrance for hours and no one to remove him. I had to climb over him twice and report it to what is apparently a call center in the Philippines twice. So much for a front desk. To make it worse, they even have absolutely security on duty. And if that wasn't enough to be concerned about, there are no phones in the rooms, nor can anyone be buzzed in at the door. And if there's an Emergency? Forget it! Police and Emergency Services have no code or way to open the door! This rooming house provides no services that a hotel or even a hostel would. The rooms have no kitchen, but there is a shared one down the basement. Great to see people sharing the small space during Covid, and no one there cleaning it between guests. And speaking of Covid, the housekeeping came to my room after housekeeping hours were over, and I opened my door to a cleaner wanting to come in with no mask on! This hotel is a safety hazard and very very overpriced for what I paid. Did I mention no hot water one day? My husband literally spent hours on the phone and a dozen calls trying to get them to reaccomidate me elsewhere, but they never returned his call once. Avoid this place unless you can get it under $70 per night and don't worry for your safety. They fleeced me for $176.50 per night in off season and Covid. I could have gotten a nice hotel for less for sure.
